Great review. Agree with what you said in the end. Unfortunately (or luckily) BF is not GW. BUT... When I look at the T28 I am quite sure there was an influential german spy in the US war office! 😅
Loved the video @FogofWar! Can't wait for the next video man! I always remembered that the T28 had one set of Tracks while the T95 "Doom Turtle" had the two sets. Either way, Playing this in any Game can basically be Summed up in the Words of The Mighty Jingles Himself for the Intro to his video on the T95 Doom Turtle for World of Tanks about 10 to 11 Years ago..... "This thing is so incredibly Slow that one of Three Things will happen when you get this into a Match. Either you're so Incredibly Slow that by the time you get Halfway across the Map, The Match is over and the Entire Enemy Teams been killed, Or you're so Incredibly Slow that by the Time you get into a Decent Firing Position, The Enemy Team's killed your entire team and You're next, Or you're going to kill the Entire Enemy Team yourself because your Team is just Dogsh1t." - The Mighty Jingles, World of Tanks T95 "The Doom Turtle", Oct. 2nd 2013. Nonetheless, It would be nice to see how badly they'd Steamroll the Germans or even the Soviets had Winston Churchill gotten Re-elected as Prime Minister and gave the Go Ahead for Operation Unthinkable. A Tech Tree might need to be Developed where the Amount of Successful Research Rolls are Equal to the Points for a Single Type of a Particular Tank Design so that way Players can Gauge their Progress almost like They're grinding in War Thunder. Let me know what you think about this and I'll catch you in your next video man! P.S. If Team Yankee were to get any New Miniatures with the Timeline going into the 1990's (With the French Leclerc of 1992 arrival now being in the game), Which Vehicles and Aircraft or Helicopters would you like to see in a Later Release?
Im thinking about designing a flames of war scinerio where you have to escort a pair of T28's in an assault against german bunkers. Thoughts? Ideas? Im all ears!
Those trus structures on the front of the T28 have confused me since first seeing the kit. The instructions give kinda rough ideas for where to put them but arent specific and dont show the final look, while IRL pictures have them in a different spot in every picture
The track mounting/dismounting arms were little winches to help get the outer tracks on and off. There are several different mounting points for them on the hull. That’s why you see them in different places in reference pictures. These were unbolted and move around on the hull wherever you needed them to lift the tracks on and off.
Well... there are mounting points for the gantry. You can see them as little groups of 4 mounting bases. There are three sets on the front track horns, and one on each side of the engine deck at the rear. So on any of those is OK.
i would love to see the Australian Cruiser series brought out for the WoT so i can make a "Theoretical" Squadron for Flames.
It would be marvellous to see a Sentinel in plastic. Maybe we need to look for a good 3D printed one.
Great thanks for this! I have 2 of these sitting primed waiting for a paint tutorial. I can hardly wait. It is an impressive (and imposing) kit.
Good luck painting those Joe! It is a huge kit. I really want to put the Battlefront Panzer I kit next to it when the Early War stuff comes out.
Clash of Steel has cool models! Thanks for the review.
Got the IS-3 and Panther 8.8cm in the mail yesterday. I highly recommend these.
Cool! I have the IS-3 kit, so I’m looking forward to that. I’d love to review the 8.8cm Panther but not sure I can justify buying one!
I love the variety that we're getting to see with these CoS kits!
There's certainly some very different kits coming. I'm really keen for Conqueror and Charioteer!
Wave 2 starter boxes look fantastic 🎉

BUT...

Yeah. There were a lot of dead-ends after the war. Heavier armour and greater weight can be seductive.

I must watch that Doom Turtle video.

That would be a fun scenario!
Does anyone know any good conventional vs leviathan battle reports?
I haven’t seen any, but if anyone posts a link I’ll be sure to check it out too. Very interested.
@@FogofWar i am very much hoping to see how T-44s and IS-3s would fare, especially, verses german heavies

@@FogofWar Ok sweet I physically cannot screw them up then lol
