I feel like that’s the point where you seriously dive into your mental health. Why do you feel unmotivated? What makes your mental state worse? Therapy, meds, CBT… there’s options.

I'm sure you've done your own introspection. I too struggle with my major and I'm just coasting along. People say to do something "you're passionate about"; that's the thing I don't know what I'm passionate about. I don't find joy particularly in anything I do; I daydream myself in career but more than likely stays as a thought with little follow-up since I lose interest just as that.

This hits home. I think you should go to a mental health professional, see the things and issues you are facing, if possible become social. From there you might try to delve yourself into something you find meaningful to do.

Hunt down seniors at college in the majors as well, occasionally you find folks that don’t want to help but as far as my experience goes most are enthused to help others understand the experience in a particular major. May be best to talk to more than one though, bias can present pretty diversely

You know, none of the videos I’ve watched ever worded it like you
They always say goals, never say goals”things I have to do before I leave earth” it hits way stronger
M I actually wanted to become something like an astronaut or a pilot
I knew astronaut was too far so I was more aiming for pilot but never focused on it out loud, but it wasn’t too long before I realized that where I live you can’t become a pilot unless you’re the nationality of the country
