  • The technique of sampling songs or loops has been a staple in hip hop music since its birth. Reason 12 has many instruments that can be used for creating Sample Based beats. In This video, Chris Reed will show you how to chop samples, prepare them for use in various Reason instruments and play the samples with your midi keyboard or using the piano roll.

    • @HOLLASOUNDS

I doubt it, but they could definitely do it if they really wanted to, the code behind Objekt is similar as it use frequency spitting and modeling to make sounds. The key to good stem separation is the softwares ability to detect and remove artifacts from bits of mixed frequencys. The AI has to be able to detect what is vocal frequency vs Drum frequency for example and basically fill in the missing bits of frequency that's been removed.

@@PrimaudiaRecord But what’s your source of income though? Do you live on government welfare checks? Or disability? Or you inherited fortune from your family? Just curious!!

I wonder if this brand has any clue about the dumpster fire they have created on the youtube/Internet right now!?😂 You guys understand the emails you sent to customers get leaked to social media, right? You really should have just come up with a patch for the software that can’t be authorized anymore like it matters if someone Pirates 15-year-old reason. I’ve seen the way you treat your customers, and I am an active musician that has paid for your software in the past. I won’t be doing so again in the future.

Unwatchable because of the beats playing obtrusively all over the first 4.5 mins.

This DAW is dead. It hasn't had a substantial update in over a year if we can even call the last one a substantial one. After a year of waiting they'll bring us more instruments that we definitely don't need and fixes which they'll call features and charge $200. Meanwhile the FLStudio gang are getting AI features for FREE.

You’ve made good points. Reason needs a good update with AI features. However, once AI technology becomes fully integrated into DAWs, talent will be a thing of the past because literally anyone will be able to make a full song with a prompt lol. The human race is finished.

@@UltimateMoralizer hmm i don’t need a midjurney for music 😅 but cool would be to have a feature Ai-ding in arrangements. you have a loop and get some suggestions. Separating stems would also be nice but we have programs for that like the free unbeatable UVR ultimate vocal remover. Ai would also be cool to get specific help in sounddesign to recreate patches of audiosamples

The pianoroll with colorcoded in the key you’re in and the curve drawing from Synchronous for the automation would be awesome.

I use AI for processing the idea I created using the tools from Reason. AI always needs an idea to work with. Reason isn’t dead, it’s just not selling out in that way.

I am on Reason since their begining. They did a lot in 12 version but I do think they could more, like stem separation... Other then that, Reason is great, you just have to know what you are doing, want you want and what to use... This is a real producers daw... Its not easy... That is the largest reason why ppl hate... Dont hate something you dont understand... Reason allows you to make everything your way with your sounds, no limitations... But for you who want easy, stick to fl.
