My buddy has a 130 horsepower Harley Harley he likes to brag on a lot. He was very upset when I not only kept up with him but passed him quite easily. this bike is awesome my wife and I can go from Evansville to Louisville for lunch and not have any problems lots of room tons of power super quiet and absolutely gorgeous hands-down the best bike ever built........
@@Deke1 not doubting that, but this was the only honda made in U.S.A. by a honda. I'm on the fence about purchasing one now. Not to mention the bike wouldn't cost 100k now. The HD lineup doesn't cost that much. If it was built again in America 🇺🇸 I'm sure it'd do a lot better now than then. The 2004 still sales for 20k +. Talk about holding your value
Hey guys absolutely love your videos. Used to be die hard harley but you have showed me all bikes are awesome. I watch all your videos. Love them all. GOD BLESS
That excessive fender rap is one of my favorite things on the Rune. But that's the beauty about motorcycles: customization and individual preferences is the name of the game.
Honda makes a very high quality motorcycle. My first bike was a 1974 CL200 that me and my pals absoloutely flogged, bashed and crashed using it as a dirtbike. It still ran great when I passed it on to the next destruction specialist. Too bad I didn't know it was a one-year only model at the time.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess, and for me the design is a quadruple 'Yeuk,' with the exhaust pipe looking more like a hideous dustbin! No, I'm not anti-Honda - I've owned Hondas regularly since 1967, and currently own a 2,000 Valkyrie Interstate and am bidding on a vintage CB750.
Big Harley fan and Deluxe owner but I would add a Honda Valkyrie to the stable in a heartbeat. If its got two wheels it's good for the soul regardless of the badge.
Mr. SRK ' l once saw a video you made with a yamaha royal star . The thing that l liked about that particular video was that you had a buddy recording you on the royal star as you rode it. I thought it was a realy nice video because we as the viewer could see the motorcycle in action . Lately , watching your videos we the viewers are stuck just looking at the tank and handle bars of the bike. you riding by the normal places you test drive the bikes. I think if you made your video's focussed on you and the bike on the road , we can better grip the whole ride along side you . We can see the lean the power and the bike , which is what l in particular would like to see. Thank's for letting me share my opinion ! 😎
I love the custom, hand-built, factory Honda Rune. It is a highly unique motorcycle. However from some angles it looks a little fugly. The front end actuate's very well however it is heavy. The back end rides horribly stiff. The front tire is a one-off size and is expensive. I've ridden three different Runes. I own and ride a 2014 Honda Valkyrie and it is a much better riding and handling motorcycle.
It may be better but it looks like a cheap and ugly version of Rune. No offense just my opinion, if you are happy with the bike that's all what matters.
Very impressive bike for sure. I'm not into cruisers but i'd love to try one lol Local dealership has an 2004 with 60 000 km's on it and they are asking 19 000$ for it!
What in the world did Honda build their own motorcycle to prove the world they could so far ahead of the time unbelievable I have over 15 Valkyrie but love the room
Holy shit. I started on a GoldWing rabbit hole and then I ended up on the Valkyrie and fell in love. But holy shit it just keeps getting bigger and better.
would this bike sound the same as a regular valkyrie with 6-1-6 if you'd customize those exhausts to fit onto this? Probably a little different but much of the same tone right?
Hey Sean, I just wanted to say thank you for quoting scriptures on your channel. It's always a blessing to hear and to see a man of God put his faith on display. I appreciate you sir and these videos, much love brother in Christ.💙🐻
I'm trying to decide which gloves to get. The 507 is more like what I'm use to (Sedici Bruno) but I like the idea of kevlar lining the entire glove (508), seems like it would be much lighter and more comfortable for day to day riding. You had 'em made, what's your professional opinion?
Been looking at runes for my next bike.i seen one in Nashville in 2010.passed me like I was sitting still.they are out there and I will ride mine.although the 2019 Valkerie has a lot of rune similarities I want those forks.
The rake is a head fake. The angle of movement of the wheel is much less obtuse than the forks suggest because of the trailing link. I’d live to feel how it turns. It should fall into a turn.

Check out that Honda Valkyrie less expensive and just as bad ass I had mine over 140 with the wife on the back multiple occasions . According to Honda max speed is 131 I believe. The Rune on the other hand according to Honda 123. They gear them down quite a bit to give him that great performance. my pads were like 11 in off the ground but the bike handled so well with those fat tires I could still drag the pegs animes my friends who are riding behind me:-)
@@deanlarkins5858 I take my 2014 Valkyrie out every weekend and had 12 different strangers taking pictures while parked. i knew it was a stunner when the first weekend I was cruising in a strip mall and a guy came out of a store, reached for his sunglasses on top of his head and knocked them off to the ground. he never took his eyes off the bike as his hands searched around his feet. Honda lost money on every single one of them. They definitely are not going to build any more of them sadly.
They kinda did. The Honda Valkyrie F6C, similar look.
The rune is starting to become the SRK calling card take advantage of that! I want to see a complete custom rune build from you guys!!
I love everything about those except the rear fender, I wish it didnt wrap so far around the tire like that
