If it is good (which probably is) how about testing it under full processor load for a 10 minutes or even longer period of time? For me, performacnces is way above how it looks, but not just gamers want their PCs looks good 😁
Great and informative video! I used this as a guide to install one yesterday. There was one inaccuracy on the AM4/5 tutorial though. For the best cooling and to offset mounting you should have the brackets over the side with the pumping tubes as shown in the manual and DeepCools official installation video.
@@elemnt360z Yes I used the manuals method of setting the brackets. As in top and bottom. AMD CPUs benefit from offset mounting for more efficient cooling of hotspots. Refer to the official DeepCool video to see how to put it on. This video is accurate otherwise!

I bought the LT520, the white version, and I also got the Ryzen 7800X3D at the same time. However, I'm having issues with cooling. The processor gets very hot, reaching 87-88°C after a few minutes of running the Cinebench test, which is not normal (the Tjunction temperature for this processor is 89°C). It's mounted correctly (I've reassembled it a couple of times and applied thermal paste), but nothing has changed. :(
I have an LT520 but my RGB part didn't come with any peeltabs? And the the protective plastic was so difficult to peel off that I just left it on. I have seen some builds that still have it on like mine and others where they have easy peels. Should I try to peel it off anyway?
THANK YOU SO MUCH. no where in the instructions does it say not to tighten the screws on the bracket all of the way (there's no words at all in the instructions lol). So the copper plate wasn't making contact with the CPU and the PC was shutting down right after POST. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. Thanks for having better instructions than the ppl who make the dang thing!!!! Lol

question - can the AMD AM4 based bracket setup be attached to the water block/pump - so that the nipples (fittings) are on the bottom like in the Intel layout? I have clearance issues that just made my upgrade to 4 dimms kill my EK water cooler - because on am4 the brackets only go on one way and i cannot rotate the darn block to get the nipples from facing the dimm slots to facing down towards the m.2 slot/gpu... sooooooooo upset i can't find a resolution... considering this as the new replacement setup
So in this video the fans were installed to push air through the radiator back into the case. Was that intentional? I typically try pull air through the radiator and outside the case?
If you have fresh air coming directly into the cooler from the outside, it will cool your cpu more efficiently than running air through your radiator that has been heated by the rest of your components.
Is there any problem if I place the brackets backwards in AM5? Lower bracket impacts my M2 heatsink. Also, is there any problems if I use tubes at 6 o’clock position in AM5?
Why are the tubes for Ryzen coming out of thr right side of the cooler, but end of the video shows them on the bottom, that's confusing since they should be coming from the bottom so the case is aligned correctly.

Great informative video. I got this exact same AIO cooler for my rig. This is my first time using an AIO cooler so I have no baseline for anything but I can hear this tinny tinny pumping sound followed with a click from time to time. Its such a small and tiny noise...is this typically normal for AIO coolers? Does that sound go away or is it just the pump working? I have my radiator installed on the top if that helps..
I have a question for you too. When you first booted the pc, did the radiator fans spin or did u have to set that up in bios? Because only the rgb on my cpu turn on but not the fans

Man I ran in to the problem of the guy that built my pc didn’t give me my factory bracket and I could not put the screws in to the plate how they supposed to
I just installed the lt720 on my 13600 and it runs, under full load 15+° cooler. I was using a generic aoi 240mm and it couldn't keep the CPU below 85+°
The small screws won’t fit in the pump for the bracket… they’re literally too thick even without the bracket. It only goes halfway and the it’s stuck.. how’d you fit yours. AM4/AM5 bracket btw

Mate, the bracket for AM5 are not well mounted. You should edit that part. They should not be mounted on the side but bottom (where hoses are) and top. Very misleading

I wish there were simpler ways to get this to work without 3 cable headers and inline resisters, etc.. Meanwhile I'm using a liquid freezer ii that just requires 1 cable to get the fan and pump working. So much simpler.

Mounting is as easy it can get with Deepcool. I installed 2 weeks ago LT720 to compare with Arctic Freezer 360. Deepcool have same pefromance or even one-two degrees better compared Arctic but Deepcool radiator is 1.1cm thinner. If your case space is tight then deepcool is better option. Used both with 13900k. Maybe because LT720 pump is faster or stronger on max speed. Arctic pump never makes sound but Deepcool pump making little sound if max speed only. What is for me important I can monitor deepcool pump speed but with Arctic you never know pump rpm. LT720 fans are worst deepcool fans I ever used. Humming noise are backround and it comes and goes on below 1000 rpm.
It's in regards to where the pump is and air pockets/bubbles. If you can, you don't want air pockets stuck on your CPU side of the aio. It has to do with noise and longevity. And all aios have different amounts of bubbles. I personally have the LT720 mounted up top of the o11XL. Zero noise, gravity takes care of thr bubbles and keeps it away from thr cpu

Be warned that the bracket has a weird protrusion that may potentially interfere with your motherboard's top M.2 slot or the heatsink.

Anyone else had problems with installing this on 1151? With the spacers the cooler is not making contact to the cpu.

AMD's chips target their thermal max
After a few months, I realized that this only happens in Cinebench, in games, the temperature doesn't exceed 75-76°C...
Same with my 5900x

Why’d you put the radiator and fans facing outwards? Would look better if you replaced the stock fans with some lian li’s and face it inwards.

So if you only have 4 prawn rgb on your mother board you can’t use the rgb ?

Is the pump cover rotated on the am5 board? It looks like it will be orientated differently going by the hose placement

Did you relocate the pump om the cpu? It had the loops facing the right side but when u put it on they where on the bottom
