dlo is not doing a buyout, both sides have to agree and it sets market for him in off szn… regardless of what yall think he gonna earn… finish season off strong w nets and go from there… maybe resign w them
As a Spurs fan, I do not appreciate you all continuously reminding Chicago that they shouldn't make the play in. Chicago loves the play in, let them do what they want. Go for it Bulls, we're here for you. BULLS IN THE PLAYOFFS YAYYY
@ F* the player I’m just thinking it’ll boost the bottom teams for the playoff push. Players still getting their salary anyway. It’ll make the bottom teams better and more competitive.
I get the idea of make the league more competitive but players would have no say with their contracts. This won’t get pass the NBA Players Association.
you can’t trade dlo either unless it’s a package by himself or added with draft picks, you have to ask yourself if you are willing to do that… only player getting traded is cam johnson… dlo finishing szn off w the nets gives him a better opportunity to sign a better contract to go along with there plans of the draft and rebuilding the organization

both sides have to ageee to buyout and dlo is not gonna do a buyout bc it sets his market for the summer.. regardless of what other may think he plays and finishes the szn off well i think that he gets a good contract back with the nets…
@blablablaa14 no it doesn't work. Thunder and Cleveland can sigh anyone. Who wants to see those crappy franchise in the finals. We all know what sells.

For teams like GSW that are hard capped at the first apron, I do wonder what restrictions they face on buyout players despite being under the apron? Also this apron rule is dumb. Trying to punish spending teams, you also punish players that want out and teams trying to arrange a buyout.
Oh,boo hoo. Player A is making > the MLE, and wants out. Wait until summer. No player has a RIGHT to move via buyout. No team has a right to buyout players. This is how you end superteams.
@@Gatorsssssss1 it’s less about the teams spending as it is about the players and the other teams. It’s a mutual agreement because it benefits both parties. That only works though if there is an actual market for the player. We have seen players being sent home without playing at all awaiting trades or buyouts. It’s not hard to see a scenario players are sent home from tanking teams and not having a market for a buyout now. The goal may be to restrict spending teams, but the result affects players and sometimes non spending teams.
@@snarkmark2806 I said the rule was dumb, never said anything about having the right. All buyouts require mutual agreement. However, a team does have the RIGHT to waive a player if they want to so you technically wrong in that sense. If a buyout cannot be reached a player could be waived and end up having no where to sign because of restrictions. Who is that really hurting? NBA, fans of players, and the player themselves? Spending teams may be the target doesn’t mean that’s the result.
If Chicago puts Lonzo out there? LA need to go get him. Before he got hurt, he was among the league leaders in 3’s, was an elite defender at the point, both exactly what LA needs. This year, Lonzo is shaking the rust off, but if he has a healthy offseason? Watch out. Ben Simmons? Id get either Ben Simmons or Ball. Ben Simmons was once considered untradeable, once thought of as the future of the league. In my opinion he’s been tanking until he controls his future.
If I was in that position I would take a pay cut or give back the money back just to get on a team that is going to win a championship 🏆 but it has to be a team that I want to play for I would do everything within my power to make sure I land on that team players do have power I would use that to my advantage and in every single way and I mean in every single way too
I think it's most likely Lonzo get bought out because there is no way any team is going to pay more for Lonzo, who's going to be a free agent. I think there's 2 reasons why Lonzo get bought out and that is he demands to be bought out himself or Bulls has no choice to buy him out because no one is dumb enough to trade for Lonzo and he does help winning which the Bulls are tanking at this moment, so it's counterproductive to continue keeping Lonzo
Orlando would be perfect, DLo surrounded by athletes who can defend and dunk, nasty.
Orlando won’t junk their roster to get Fox. I can see them going for DLo as an extra scorer off the bench.
Good riddance

@@javarzshinall9396the Nets have overachieved lol. Their coach is good. Winning all those games without a superstar.

I still think Marcus Morris would be the perfect backup forward replacement for Rui if the Lakers trade him
The NBA should do a playoff team buyout draft. Lowest seeds get first pick at the buyout players.
Why would any player want to be bought out if they can't decide the team they are going to? Think about it

Brogdon would be perfect for the Suns and would be good if returned back to the Bucks too.
What was the number at for the MLE this year? What’s considered under the MLE this year? 13M?
So anyone who makes 13M is considered under the MLE?

No video on coach reddick and Charles Barkley drama?
What About Magic SG: Gary Harris not playing much for the magic and is a great shooter. Can he get bought out? Or even Jordan Clarkson.

The clippers are under the cap which means they can make a trade and go and get someone on the buyout market
They are not buying out dlo
These buyout rules are terrible!!
They are actually great and prevent the 4-5 big market teams from getting everyone. These rules would have prevented Bron from winning titles in Miami

Why would the Clippers bring in another guard from Kuzmas team for more money 🤮 Brogdon has less options than Jimmy Ingram or Lavine
Don't any great point guard or point forward has to have the ball in his hand that's basketball
