Man you couldn’t have asked for a better person to praise your speakers. Im literally thinking of selling my car and taking a huge loan to own a pair of these.😂🎉❤

Is the placement of the monitors correct? It seems to me that the Left Monitor is placed to the Right and vice-versa?

Teezio says his room only measures 15 x 10. I assume that the monitors are on the short wall (that’s how it looks). But still for monitors of this size, 15 feet feels pretty tight. How close can they be positioned to the wall? I’m looking at monitors for a room that is probably only going to have about 14 to 15 feet of depth available. The ability to have the 6-2s fill the space with a wide sweet spot is very attractive, but I’d like to know that there is even a reasonable chance of them fitting without having acoustic problems that defeat the point of spending this much money. Thanks.

I ended up getting small speakers and glad I did because my sweet spot is up against the walls. With these behemoths, I wouldn’t be able to take advantage of a good speaker position, which would be a waste

This monitor PMC Pro 6-2 is simply tremendous. Had the pleasure of listening to them at MGM!😍👌 The bass fundament is fantastic the precision and the detail in the depth difference is incredible! A double bass sounds like it's playing in front of you - the monitors bring out a tremendous volume! 👌 The mids and the highs are extremely precise and detailed but very soft in the sound, which made me feel extremely good. Beautiful depth graduation. Is really a tremendous monitor sound where you get for the size! Really well done PMC team! 🙏 Have to save a little then there are a few! 😍

Do they offer both imaging and depth?

@@hithere4289 You asked if they "offer both imaging and depth", over and above balance, tonal accuracy, extended bass response and control, they are unmatched for imaging and depth. From their small models up to the largest they do both those things better than any other speaker I've heard in spades ! They may be more expensive than many other brands but worth every penny. I've owned several of their models and currently have a large pair of MB2/XBD

@@user-eg7bg9dz4j wow I’m very jealous of you. You must be very happy with ur big ass monitors!!!! The thing is I love monitors that offer depth because it’s a whole new level and there are very expensive monitors that don’t offer that good of a depth eg adam or focal and it’s like a let down for me haha but well I can imagine pmc being a whole new quality tier. Cheers

Window, window window! HOW can anyone with the reverberation of the window get a decent mix? I don't care how many accolades, that window is a reflection issue.

Which is why there is a deflector in front of it.

@@Lexcoaster not behind the monitors there isn't, that center panel does nothing if it's not covering the entire window.

@@NicBam Just look at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios. Giant windows overlooking a pond, yet the recordings there are of an extremely high standard. The working space (recording or mixing) doesn't need to be 100% dead. Some reflections are okay. That center panel probably does enough to work well.

It all depends on the room itself.

It's a compromise, I'll always compromise that little bit of sound quality for natural day light. Also, if the rest of the room is well treated, a window that size won't be a problem
