Hi Raylene, Autism is one of the subjects which is indeed given a lot of importance here in Canada. As far as I know the ministry of child and youth in Ontario used to provide need based financial aid to children who are under the spectrum which can be used for therapy sessions needed to improve the communications and other needs. Last year the provincial govt in Ontario got some flak for changing the funding system to a fixed amount for every family irrespective of the need of the individual child. I believe they are still working to sort it out. Please do check it online as I’m only giving a vague idea based on what I hear on the radio news stations.

One more information needed initially when you come down you don't have job so how to survive and how much expenses daily is required.
