Im running the Ground Control T7 front and Fast Trak T5 rear on my Stumpjumper and really like it. I think the Renegate is basicly a "Gravel Bike" Tyre 😄
Solo normalmente he visto las llantas speciized en las bici specialized porque no tengo idea lo más común ver llantas de otras marcas como Maxxis, Pirelli, continental,y etc.
Thoughts on a fast trak rear, ground control front setup? The Butcher and purgatory setup on my stumpjumper is a little too aggressive tire setup for what i do. Great vid!
Butcher/Purgatory is a solid setup with a lot of confidence in cornering. Ground Control/Fast Trak would be a good light trail combo. You’re giving up a lot of side knob support but gaining rolling resistance. I’d do it if you’re looking for a slight step to a more nimble setup
Once you wear the new tires in things get much better, the small tits on the new tires (made in Viet Nam at a new plant) give lower lap times, then once the tits are gone, better everything, the Renegade does good, but it don't last as long as the Fast Trak,, I like the S-Works Fast Trak dual compound T5/T7 versions, much lighter at just over 600 grams, but they have thinner sidewalls.
After riding the T7 fast Trak for a while, it has great grip but seems slightly slower than other T5 compounds I’ve tried. Agreed the T5/T7 s-works is nice mix
Thanks for breaking out the calipers and getting the actual width on your specific rim. It's an important dimension and not enough people do it 👍

Agreed about the Renegade. I only use it for XC races.

@@ShredHeadSports Thanks that exactly what I'm looking for
@@hro52518 Slaughter is also a great back tire for the Stumpjumper.
Specialized Slaughter is an excellent rear tire for the Stumpjumper.
sure not rolling on cornering knobs on that fast trak with 35mm internal rims?
They’re more square for sure, which also adds more stability
Hey, man. Question: in the video 3:52 the renegade looks like more wider than fast track. It is really or is just impression?
Thanks
The renegade measured slightly more narrow. It’s side knobs are almost non-existent 😬
