  • The second stop of the season for the Hobie BOS took place in northwest Louisiana at prime time! Fishing was really good during practice, but the intense fishing pressure started to take a toll on the bass at Caddo. In order to do well in this event, you had to be able to adapt to the fishing pressure and either get away from the crowd, or find a way to out-fish everyone else if you stuck around. Hope you enjoy! (Day two upload soon!!)

Oh I fished all of the dead water out there haha, made the trip from ND to try my first hobie tourney. Felt great to be on open water but knew I didn’t have a shot since I wasn’t launching near you. You are one of my favorite fisherman on TH-cam, keep making that content man!

Thanks! I think the explanation behind what's going on is just as important as the video itself. There are plenty of videos out there if you just want to watch someone catch bass, but the how and why is harder to find!

You might look into the pocket frog from lunker hunt. It’s smaller, so fish really eat it well. Plus it’s so small you can fish it with a spinning rod and get really good hook sets, even form a kayak.

Very cool.. I caught 14 on Caddo Texas side this afternoon. Nothing over 3.06lb biggest I was wondering why I seen so many kayaks past few weeks! What was the big bass tournament trail called ??

What happened to the cool blue net? Love the videos man!

The cool blue net is currently somewhere on the harris chain! I was making a rough lake crossing during practice when I realized I did not have my net and didn't know when it had last been in my kayak

@@nolanminor6761 damn man that sucks. Well it was good to see your streak of cashing checks continued even with the new net lol

Enjoy the breakdown of the video. I have to ask what makes you choose a worm vs creature to flip on the tree? It worked for you just curious

I was using a stickbait/senko because of the scattered vegetation, creature baits wouldn't come through that stuff as easily especially with the light weights I had to use since they were spawning.

It was so so crowded on Saturday. I had to burn everything I had found and shook off just to survive
