Edit: to the ones thinking EVO-KEN still isn't broken you can find multiple clips of them still completely destroying in 3v1 situations, only people don't like characters because they are cool but instead because they are cool. If that was true I would see more people running Revival SSJ2 and Zenkai LF bardock

My favourite character but I don't have them, I got shafted so badly in this festival (18k CC for UL UI and another 15k-18k CC for evoken for just nothing)

@@ArgusGodz in the case of super 17, at least his blasts can hit like a train, so he forces the opponent to switch out and stuff, making him get cards to continue comboing. I think if evoken had 10% damage for 15 counts for every card they used, they’d probably a different unit, similarly to super 17.
That’s not to say evoken don’t hurt, they do, is just that they don’t naturally stack much damage, and being such a slow starter in such a fast meta makes them almost have to rely on losing an ally to get the gauge 50% charge to really become a great unit quickly.

they definitely are falling off fast, but mainly because UUI is also blast based, and neither of them can tank, as well as LF Cell starting to make a comeback due to Super 17 and MVP 17 being on the same team
on a side note, as a standalone unit, they're phenomenal, it's just the state of the meta that's killing them
G4 is just too strong man one shots everything

If they had subcount reduction against blue cards or Ults somewhere in their kit they would be as dangerous as Goku/Frieza when they first had their buff.

The problem with evoken is that dbl is becoming a very passive pvp game (look at S17) and know one is willing to attack and they just pv fishing. Evoken u need to get his gauge up as much as possible and it's hard to do that when things like AOE green card and counter green cards makes it hard to make a move
Also no sub count reduction
You are not using super 17 correctly if you play passive with him

They're definitely one of the most underrated units in my book. To the folks that think they already need a plat, y'all just need to learn how to use them. They're still them.

No lie I think this game is bugged bc this isn’t the first time I’ve heard or seen someone saying something about the game registering an input wrong, the other day I was playing with Blue Beasthan in a last stand situation vs super 17 and I was at a stand still and it made me strike but the strike was locked bc of his ability to lock cards but some how it still activated but I ddnt click no where near the card

This unit may not be the best of the best but they still scare me. Every moment they’re alive I’m scared of a PV + green or switch in + green into gauge cycle infinite combos that I just have to hold.

Have these guys to 14 stars. They can still put in some work you just need the right team for them which is Universe Rep with MVP 17 and UUI or Lf Jiren. One of my favorite units now.
I run them in a god ki set-up alongside uvb and uui and they do very well.
Even tho it’s not the best team to run them on

I think you should try to use hellfighter 17 in a video as a showcase. I use him as a great heal, combo extension, tank, and if beast does a drop combo on him he can cancel their buffs on main to easily tank the blue

You should use Blu beast Gohan since he beat the android and he does so much damage I tried him trust me.😊😊😊
Even if they are out of feature boost I still use them and they are doing amazing damage and combos never end

Yeah but with the meta being Ui who cannot be hit with melee and lock in and disrupts like pan that lower your ki it's hard to get the train rolling
The green cards aren't consistent and can easily be destroyed by a lot of units now.

level up all your characters if you have resources cause they reward you CC for it. and then choose your main team. if you want to run android team or hybrid team or even movie saga team, go for it. feel free to chose
