I guess it's due to Dempsey, but the Matoi fixation is kinda odd, 4*s always take ages to get their skins. We basically just got Deepcolor and Mousse skins, and Haze is still missing a skin, Earthspirit, Estelle (although she's a special case ig), etc. Feel like Franka is the more important pick as her E2 art is so poor, whereas Matois got one of the best E2 arts in the game imo
@@k0ch1 Don't think the artist (TOKI) does art for AK anymore, but that hasn't stopped them before. Liskarms second skin was drawn by Cenm0, Lancets skin was drawn by Ryuzakiichi (who is also Matois artist iirc), etc etc. Iirc Sagas artist was delayed due to pregnancy and taking time off I assume, but there's no reason why Franka shouldn't have a skin, esp when they've given TOKI skins to others before. I feel like they must be delaying it for a BSW event that's been delayed for some reason? Idk

I think HG mix from Western “Seven Deadly Sins” and Eastern “The Eight Immortals”. Western culture focus on showing what is considered as evil, while Eastern culture encourages following ideal. All of The Eight Immortals have similar good traits, they are not strong/weak in one area like The Seven Deadly Sins. Though, the differences are their characteristics, and we can somewhat guess who is based on who. You can read “The Eight Immortals” on Wiki to know their lore. This is my guess: Zhang Guolao: Saga original skin He Xiangu: The pure woman Cao Guojiu: The big guy with official robe Lan Caihe: The child Tieguai Li: The beggar with a rice bowl + calabashes Han Xiangzi: The musical artist on the back Lu Dongbin: The strong temper scholar that dispel evil spirits Han Zhongli: The guy running with a purse (In lore, Lu Dongbin got tought by Han Zhongli. But in his incarnation, he was the teacher of Han Zhongli. I believe that’s why these two messing around in a two-ways-teacher-student in the skin)

It's hard to say for sure this skin is based on what culture exactly, and HG make it even harder by mixing all culture in one picture. "There is a place where every gods from all religions living happily with eachothers" - i believe this is the message of the picture. Although, to me, it might create problem. A westerner will have the right to say the child who sleeping is lazy, base on their culture. But in the Easterner's eyes, that child is one of the god that completely opposite from laziness. In fact, all of their gods are not lazy. So in conclusion, i think this skin is lovely complicated as it use cultures to make the illusion of diversity. A picture that can be appreciated by any culture, appear to them in different ways. One sees things that others might not, and although it may stop people from having the same experience, it's a chance for people to introduce their difference in culture to eachother, in order to appreciated the skin on every angle.
