Thank you for this as recently started using a DNT Zulas 3-12 LRF. I also have a Pard DS35 LRF with Ballistic Calculator and on both (using sub 12 air rifles) I have not been able to get the ballistic calculators to be accurate at both short and longer ranges. With scope heights set accurately it is never accurate at all ranges. I have to adjust the scope height to get it accurate at 15yds to 45 yds (zero 25yds) but it is then way out at 10 yds and under and the opposite happens. If I get it right at very short distances it is way out at the longer ranges. All of the other data is correct. The solution I have found is to know your hold under/over at all of the ranges you shoot at 5yd intervals without the use of the BC. Therefore, I use the BC at the ranges I know it is accurate 15yds to 45yds then use the scope reticle hold over for the very short ranges.
I have a Pard 008 sp lrf and whenever I zero at 25 , it is off target at sub-zero distance. When I adjust the scope height at the sub-zero distance to be dead on, my zero changes too. I have a Zulus HD 5-20r and will be trying it on that as well and hope for better results. I have always tweaked the BC for adjustments beyond my zero and that works perfectly for long distance (75-150 yds).
hi. i have the zulus 5-20 as well. i set up the ballistics etc, everything fine - BUT nowhere can i find how to activate and SEE the hold over on the recticle. Even you video just suddenly shows it in practice but not how to activate and use it. i had assumed that once zero setup in profile and used the LRF, the holdover recticle would appear, but it doesnt. Can you do a vid showing how to activate the holdover/dial in options for the ballstics - step by step, button by button ??
great video, looking at getting the DNT Zulus, thank you..
Very detailed tutorial.
Thanks 👍

On your scope, go to ballistic calculation and select either holdover or dial in option.
Hello what is the app called please ill be buying the zulus shortly ?
The new app is DNT OPTICS
Mine only works on ballistic table. Say ballistic algorithm not activated when I try it on ballistic calculations.
