Great playthrough! You guys have definitely become my go to for a playthrough, because I mainly play two-player with my wife as well. Between Naveen and Monique and Jon from jongetsgames, I always feel I have a major grasp on any game I introduce.

I have been waiting for this run-through and I did a poor job paying attention. Instead I was over screaming: THERE'S GEMS! LOOK AT THE BITS! OH MY GOD THE ART THOUGH! Oops, guess I gotta watch again.

Awesome play through. Great video as always. I went and backed. I’ve been trying to think of something I’ve played or seen that is similar to this game. Some of the mechanics I’ve seen, but collectively and with this theme it seems very original. What do you guys think? You’ve played way more games than me!!
I can just imagine the chaos with 3-4 players and matching possibly someone every turn when you're trying to not raise suspicion.
Instant back for me as Mindclash games are always right up my alley. The latest game Perseverance is so much fun.

They also didnt use the shapeshifter module which seems to really help with keeping a low suspicion. The result was kinda hilarious.
@@monkeyunit4533 I love Paul's channel ( my goto for all Mindclash games ) and started to watch his stream but hadn't finished yet. Will go back and finish it to see the chaos. 😁 Thanks for reminding me. This let me know how it plays as a two player game.

Looks bloody fantastic. I will say though that action/phase overview at the bottom of the board is huge. Seems like after a few games one would stop even paying attention to it. Therefore it shouldn’t be taking up that much estate

Now that the game is officially out, what do you guys thing about the changes made, like you can also heal a patience even if he is already healed if you do it before the end of the turn. And other changes. I’m curious to hear what you guys think about it. Love this video like every video, such clear instruction! Thank you

This game has a Lacerda “light” feeling.
Realy good playthrou allways fun to watch you two play, but how difficult do you think it is compared to brass Birmingham?
A friend and I tried playing the basic version of the game on TTS last night and really enjoyed it. However, I really wish we went ahead and included the extra stuff in the advanced mode because it looks like it makes it way more interesting! Have you guys played at 3 and 4 player counts and if so, which player count did you find most enjoyable or what did you find the biggest differences to be?
I wonder why they did not go with a scoring track around the board or separate? The score tracker for Trickerion is one of my favorites.
It’s technically a prototype so maybe they will consider it in the end?
so the icons on the potions don't help identify what they do? i wonder if iconography could be more efficient in some way instead of using the sheet with the recipes...
Yeah we couldn’t really tell, but it is a prototype so maybe some changes will be made.

Shouldn't you have removed the blue AND the pink patients at 1:22:24, thereby preventing Monique from healing it on her next turn?
Great catch!! We didn't remember to remove the pink one. Patients are removed from the board the turn they are healed
Nice catch! We tried to check every detail carefully, but this managed to escape.
@@mindclashgames No, I think the play is correct and the comment is wrong. The beta instructions say (p. 10) that "[m]ultiple players can heal the same Patient in the same round. After all players have resolved their Heal Actions in the current round, return the healed Patients face down to the supply.". Meaning Monique could heal the pink patient even though Naveen already healed it because it was in the same round. Monique told Naveen to remove the blue patient without waiting for the end of the round only because she knew she couldn't heal it. This rule seems not intuitive because 'how can you heal a patient that is already healed', but it's explicit and clear.
@@rotembk Well, you are right - I was kinda missed that they are still on the same round. Therefore multiple players could heal the same patient (and they removed the blue one a bit early). :)
Naveen lowered his suspicion at 1:13:21 but he actually should not have cause he matched with the Septima
Also at 1:22:26, why did Naveen remove only the blue patient? He healed the pink one too so it should have been removed... An Monique should not have been able to heal him herself O.o
One hour into the video, the game looks great but at the same time limiting in regards to options to score?
You either seem to focus on making potions to heal, or gathering friendly citizen to aquire new witches into you coven.
I dislike having to provide chits with points during the game. Why not have a score track around the board?
Great playthrough!! Looks like a very fun game! Why does kickstarter only support credit card though? Why not paypal or Ideal. I don't have a cc but I would love to back this game. I've missed out on backing other games in the past too because of this stupid reason.

It always makes me sad watching you play Kickstarter games because there are so many games you've played that I've bought immediately after watching! Guess I have to back it and wait for the campaign to end, sigh...

Great video and the components on this look awesome, but jeez you want to be into the theme or otherwise the payback with the actual gameplay seems a bit wanting.

Sadly it is not for me to back as the theme is just not something I'm interested in, on the plus side when it comes to Mindclash, Anachrony still has a lot to offer :)
+1 on both of your points. I'm glad it's going great for Mindclash but this specifically is not for me. Love the witchhunt trial though.
Straight up I’m thinking, why do you need three steps to draw a card, look at it and play it? Seem silly to me almost like, here’s the three basic steps of any board game just in case you’ve never done it before. Think it’s safe to say there’s no one still alive whose never heard of board games or played them.
That could’ve been just one step.
Man, Naveen lost because of the randomness aspect of picking from the bag. I went crazy when I heard the scores and he actually hit it on the nail with his assessment of the last trial and missing his citizen from the bag.
Dear Randomness, how many games have I lost because of you? Great job guys.
That's the nature of a "bag builder" mechanic. It's not perfectly random like a dice roll, you can stack it in your favor, which she did the entire game.
I'm really bad that when a game is pretty I must have! My wallet hates this channel lol.
