Lijiang is probably the most touristy destination in this trip. The varieties of traditional snacks drive you crazy!!

I saw a German Dokumentation about Lijiang and fall in Love with this beautiful Place on Earth *_* One day i will visit Lijiang, and maybe i will find, Chihiro and Haku
so nice of you to share your experiences in Li jiang and other parts of China. Thank you for sharing so that if we go there for tour,, we are advanced knowledge already of the place and will not waste time too.

Lijiang looks so beautiful, I hope to one day visit and try the food.
I have visited HK on many occasions and i love Canto food and Szechuan. I hope to visit the mainland again next year and try the mainland foods. Previously i have easten at my hotel or western outlets. It looks pretty clean much like when i ate at street vendors in Thailand.

I like the Yunnan's traditional dish started at 4:05 to 4:43 time frame, that kind of dish look very delicious.

May the food on the dtreets...but if you got the upper west of the old town, many small resturants are rather good! The vegatables were esp fresh and taste I have never taste before. I follow Lonely planet and local guild's recommendation. Most was good!
i am from toraja and i want to mind your relatives in yunnan, ... because historically Toraja tribe comes from yunnan and our blood is still not mixed with other indonesian tribe so we still maintain tradition and blood of your ancestors from yunnan

Make sure you don't eat for a whole week before you enter this street, to make sufficient space in your stomach for all the food.

You didn't go to the right place. The authentic Dali food is in Dali. Lijiang is another province.
