I stopped watching ladylike a couple years ago. I used to be a huge fan but then I just kind of...fell out of it? I thought it was me, I was getting older or something. Now, I think I could just sense the tension and them being overworked and not really enjoying their work. I stumbled across the Why I left Buzzfeed video and had to watch it. I didn't even know Lady like ended a while back but it makes so much sense now...

It’s so sad to see that Kristin was having fun on camera, but off camera, her suffering was at large. I’m so glad to see that her and Jen are doing better now.
I could tell something was off with Jen since the London episode but never once did I think that it was that bad especially in Greece, especially since they did so well. And Kristen is just bubbly here like always which, now that I heard their stories, is so heart wrenching.

Just watched Why We Left Buzz Feed. A few weeks ago, I had binge watched all the "suitcase" vids, and wondered why Jen looked like she hated being there, and why Kristin acted almost insane. Now, I know. Poor ladies. I felt for them then, but now moreso.

You know..after watching their 'why we left buzzfeed' video, just by looking at her you can just tell she was so exhausted even if she was laughing and joking around....jobs these days are getting so ridiculous..
I noticed that, too. I get really goofy and giggly when I'm super tired, so I saw that this was out of character for her. I'm just glad they're at a point now where they're happier and can do their own thing.
the way she described how she felt behind the scenes and the way we see her act fine in this video says a lot. i feel really bad she had to act through the pain and I'm glad she left
as a plus size greek woman i can tell you, it's very dificult to find clothes that fit nicely. i know all the problems big chain stores cause but i can tell, we were saved by h&m. plus, usually larger clothes are far more expensive here. love from greece
I visited Athens in 2015 and stayed in Exarcheia, we travelled around searching for a swimming costume as I had forgotten mine and we wanted to visit Lake Vouliagmeni, and I couldn't find any plus size clothing. We still went and it was beautiful. I adore Athens, the people, the food, the culture and history are amazing. Can't wait to be able to visit again!
I'm also a plus size Greek woman and to be fair, we have a much less obesity in Greece compared to the US. Like, 15% less. Which is A LOT. Supply and demand.

Same. I feel like I can see their sadness, but I never watched this particular series (empty suitcase) before. I wish I had so I could compare my reactions pre- "why i left buzzfeed" video and post "wilbf" video.
I went on a trip to Italy and Greece a few years ago and while the Italian food was good, I was so surprised to find that I liked the Greek food a lot more. Also Greeks have the best European accent hands down.

I think they transferred all the Ladylike videos into their As/Is channel? I just checked all the Ladylike videos I could remember and found them on the As/Is channel.

Just watched the Why We Left Buzzfeed video and I am so impressed by these ladies holding it together for the camera. It must've been so hard for them... looking back on this video, major facepalm at myself for not realizing earlier that Kristin and Jen were going through so much during this time. I now pick up on the little things like Kristin not wanting to do her hair. She was just too tired, poor her!
I have the biggest crush on Jen for real. Aside from that, I came here from the Kitchen and Jorn Show channel after watching the "why we left Buzzfeed video" and I genuinely felt so much for Kristen (and Jen too) for all they went through. Exactly one year ago I went to Greece....this makes me miss it so much. Greece is one of my favorite places I’ve ever been.
I lovethis series, but they seem to have an unlimited budget. If my luggage got lost, I’d probably be scrounging the cheap souvenir shops for T-shirts! But Kristin looks great!
I would kind of like it if they said what they spent more clearly
But all they do for these episodes is go to restaurants to eat for the activities. The only one that was actually different was the first episode when they did the boat with the jacuzzi in Seattle. It would be nice to actually have different activities instead of just going to restaurants to eat.
To be fair, if you've got money to stay at a nice places in Europe, you've got outfit money.

I think she was using "colosseum" with a little c as a general term while trying to remember the name. In the U.S. we sometimes use it as the term for all big old stadiums anywhere in Europe. So, she had a brain glitch & just couldn't come up with the right word. 😂
Honest moment: women of all sizes struggle with “chub rub”! Skirts like this need to just be a normal thing for our comfort. Also, said skirts need pockets. All women’s clothing needs better pockets.

It's really not the same for women of all sizes
@ttfr Well, I am living proof of that. I am not overweight and my thighs still rub against each other. In fact, even when I was almost underweight, they still did. I've suffered from "chub rub" basically since I hit puberty. It is of course a more common issue in bigger women but it isn't just a matter of weight.
@@erumoicemaxie I do agree that some people who are skinny carry more weight in their thighs than others, so it can be an issue for thinner women. That being said, if someone assumes they know what it's like for fat women but has never been fat herself, she shouldn't really assume she knows (not referring to you! Just seems silly to say "Aaactually, all women...")

Technically they did see other places during their walking food tour that were cut out.
That said, yes, they should have included some of the explanations of some of the places.
I wonder if it's because the guides don't want the information shared so that other tourists can go themselves.
They might have went other places as well that they didn’t film but also Kristen was not doing very well during this time physically and it was hard for her to film these episodes.
