Nice tutorial! Thank you for this. It is helpful. One question - at 00:51, you said that we solved the problem of effective utilization of CPU using docker but I also thought of virtual machines. Could you please explain if VM can also solve this issue and how is docker better than VMs? Is it just because dockers are lightweight and does not need guest OS unlike VMs? Thanks in advance.
Thanks Shivprasad. We will upload other devops tools videos soon. Stay tuned to Intellipaat channel and also subscribe to Intellipaat channel and press the bell icon so that you don't miss those videos. :)
Terrific video. Thanks. I've been trying to get a basic understanding of Kubernetes without much success but your approach was a huge help. I found the discussion of the problems addressed with examples was perfect.

Thnks for ur tutorial. Scaling of instance is also possible in cloud services and monitoring is also possible, so how kubernetes is helpful for the same.
A container is a standard unit of software that packages up code and all its dependencies so the application runs quickly and reliably from one computing environment to another.
I am a bit new to this, but what is the point of doing load balance in a series of pods (of the same type) in the same server? Won't this still consume all the server resources?
I have followed everything , but cannot see website after creating service, I have checked security groups of server , it is allowing all protocols and all ports, can you please guide

Hi sir, this is really a nice training.. i have a query if you can help me to guide.. suppose i have 10 replicas of a deployment of my web application on 3 worker nodes which creates logs of application by name xyz.log file on tomcat logs folder in each container.. how can i get all containers logs outside container on each Node and autorotate those. Main point to remember is as we have one deployment and its 10 replica.. log file name is same in every replica container.. you help is highly appreciated..
i tried all the steps but the pods still are in containercreating stage ... tried 2 ,3 time and waited for 10-15 min just in case to see if anything tunsup but it still the same...can you please help me with this. Thanku
hello i dont understand how you accessed the worker cmd terminal? also how do you add more replicas if we use the command line to create the deployment insted of a yaml or doickerfile? do we use --replicas=5? lisa
Here all nice words and nice explanation, If you take their real course, it is all unprofessional teachers and very bad course contents. in simple word I would say their company is "FAKE"
The premise for why we need Kubernetes is a joke. I have not see such a monolithic application since the 90's. Also, the micro services example is more of a problem with scaling your VM, for example, an IBM AIX server can create an LPAR with just as much or as little resources as needed with very high efficiency. However most x86 VM ware is garbage in that respect.
