13:17 are you kidding me?? Double Decker bus Going around that tiny parking lot like it was nothing 42:26 so narrow yet the bus is still going 1:00:38 narrow curve road 1:01:36 again entering really narrow road for a bus
Great views, but a shame about the rattlely old banger of a bus. I saw when it pulled into the Interchange at the start of the video and thought it must be pre-2008 at least. I have noticed this with the First Group in some areas, they don't really invest in new vehicles even though they are badly needed. It was the same in Stirling and Glasgow areas. This is one aspect where I feel Stagecoach perform better.
Pls look at First Bristol and Bath they have one of the best new fleets anywhere in the country All Dennis buses rattle awfully I hate driving them because of this
Not sure where this was new to, the SN plate could denote Falkirk where it was built. This is probably from a mass batch of deckers built for the 2012 Olympics then spread round the country to replace olympians
Yeah, First rarely invested in the Wigan fleet here when they operated up until 2012. It was mostly a mixture of ancient Plaxton Pointer's, Wright Crusader's and Optare Excel's. All good buses but the interiors were pretty tatty. If you were lucky, you'd get a newer Wright Eclipse/Gemini but only a handful were around. Once Stagecoach took over, almost all the fleet was streamlined to brand new Enviro's, although nowadays these rattle with the state of the roads.
@@srrk2508 especially with the voith gearbox First bus do put all their vehicles in to the most economical setting so as a driver it lacks any power even tho the engine has it
Fantastic ride. Great quality video. I worked in Dobcross in the 1970s so the Uppermill to Delph section means such a lot to me. Thanks.
Thanks for watching. Hope our video helps bring back your memories.
Lovely views from the upper deck , very circuitous route as well , very interesting.
Obrigado pela maravilhosa viagem. Saudações aqui do Brasil. 👋👋😊
Mossley and Uppermill were new to me!

SN12 reg it's 2012 vintage. Cast off crap from Glasgow I presume and sounds like it's had no maintenance since 2012 either!

@@theBusManiac actually the Scottish fleet is extremely well maintained
