The Ops-Core helmet is specifically the FTHS, or Family of Tactical Headbourne Systems Ballistic Helmet. It's essentially identical to the FAST SF, just military variant.
Funny you mention the buckle is on the wrong side... I'm wrong handed, so your Boa harness/ chin strap would be perfect for me as Team Wendy did switch the chin buckle to the left with newer helmets. I have an exfil 3.0 and I basically have to leave the left side of my harness lose so it can move out of the way when i'm shouldering and looking for a cheek weld. Otherwise, that buckle just slides on the buttstock and gets in the way. I feel ya there man. If Team Wendy was smart, they would slightly mimic a football helmet. Football helmets have 4 snaps for the chinstrap, and I could always jut unsnap the top/front right snap and get my helmet off. They should move the buckle to the top right or left so it doesn't interfere with the cheekweld. I work around it, but it is somewhat annoying.
@@DylanYouSonOfABidgeNelson I wasn't even aware they had chin straps with the buckle on the right, till I watched your video. Makes me wonder if I could contact Team Wendy and get a harness with buckle on the right. Good video and good comparison.
Im super torn on what size to get of the team Wendy. My big ass noggin is 23 and 3/4 inches at its biggest point which according to team Wendy over 23.5 inches should bump up to the XL. i also wear a 7 5/8 hat though. how close is the team wendy to being too small for you? do you have maybe an extra 1/4 inch of play?
Bruh, 2K for a helmet and they don't even include leather for the chinstrap?!? Is Opscore insane?! (Ahem) I am currently leaning toward buying a team W*ndy, despite their political BS.
Whew...you did get a good deal. I bought mine from Team Wendy, paid a little over $1200 a few years ago. Keep us updated on the Exfil please.
I've been happy with it so far, though I haven't worn it for a mission yet.
@Dylan Nelson after you put it in "the shit", gives us an update video. I'm curious what you think. I'm just a L.A.R.P.E.R.

Great video! I’m leaning TW just because it doesn’t seem like the ops core is worth the $800 more at the moment.
Personally, I agree, although I think they are both fine helmets.
Thank you for the video.
No, thank you, friend.
Thanks for your Service to the USA...Great video Brother.

That would be a good idea. You should design it and sell it to them.

I wear a 7 5/8 fitted baseball hat, and I have plenty of play in either direction. Good luck with the decision.
What is the paint of this helmet ?
@@mus7afamhmd187 the helmet isn't painted, it's the stock color.

From what I understand, the company has been sold since any political signaling.
