    Adam Jones represented his country as an outstanding member of the Team USA that WON the recent 2017 World Baseball Classic. Well done, Boston !

      Is someone jealous of a millionaire black athlete who represented his country and became Champion of the 2017 WBC ? LOL Pathetic.

      Those who yelled at him have the "courage" of being protected by the anonymity of the crowd. Like those who yell in TH-cam. Very courageous. Is that American value ?

      Why is anybody surprised by this? Everybody knows that Boston is one of the most racist towns in the country. More so than even Green Bay WI (Packersville).

    Good job Boston. You can't fix stupid, but its great to show that stupid is a small number.

    • @jaimerios3185
      @jaimerios3185 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      klwhitacre "stupid" was always a small number. If weren't, the racial slurs would have been heard on television, or a significant part of the stadium would have been empty due to ejections. If you can't fix it, this ovation is pointless. It was performed to appease the feelings of a 16 million a year ball player and those that label a city racist due to a minority of people yelling a racial slurs.

      I agree with most of your points Jaime, but not the last. It shouldn't make any difference how much someone is paid as to whether people can feel warranted in saying whatever hateful thing that pops into their head. While I'm no huge fan of Boston, if I lived there I would have given him a stand O too, just to prove that not everyone in the stadium hates because of skin color. Is stupid fixable, I don't think so. Was the standing O pointless, not to me.

      Keith, I would say both scenarios show hate for someone for a reason outside of their control. Neither are okay with me. You are welcome to your opinion, but it differs from mine sir.

    Standing ovation for being a victim of racism.
    Standing ovation for being a perpetrator of racism.
    What's wrong with this picture?
