Are they being horrible for doing that, or do they genuinely want the best for their child?
Oh so it makes sense to attack a young 21 year old player, without a preseason and thrown into chaos. You don’t have to accept the results but you have to support the club nonetheless
If a child isn’t doing well you don’t get angry and traumatize the child and make them want to live elsewhere. You nurture them regardless in their infancy. Caicedo and his agent clearly were aware they weren’t doing well and they sorted it out, they would’ve had an easier time with support rather than vitriol
@@tomsmith5782you must not be a parent haha so did you parents boo you for having bad grades? Seems like you must thrive off of that, since you believe in it wholeheartedly. So, BOOOO!!! Your way of support is unsupportive.
Another one on Caicedo is that he as well as other players have talked about the Poch's training style that they weren't very impressed to say the least. He explained it as in at Brighton under Potter or RDZ it was all tactics, tactics and tactics while under Poch it was run,run and run some more and he concluded with that not being very easy to adapt to...in other words Poch's methods are severely outdated! Also Walker spoke about this not long ago without giving names but he alluded to winning trophies under a very tactical style unlike other styles that are all physical and all about running...we already know he was poking at Poch.
The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence. The fact that we don't see it doesn't mean it's not happening. Even Thiago got attacked a lot despite being our best defender. Moi is human and he's only sharing what he experienced
It’s okay to criticize the team and player performance as long as it doesn’t devolve into abuse. Seeing too many people in this comments section suggesting we should never complain and just be content with mediocrity, we have been an average team for the last couple of years and we should be demanding more.
I love the videos and your insight 👍 tbh re Caicedo, typical situation speaking to press on international duty, probably lost in translation! I think the fans were on the teams back generally early doors which depending on the players (and coaches) personality it will depend how sensitive they are about it? You can imagine with Palmer it wouldn't even register! Exited for the season keep up the good work KTBFFH 👊
Nobody has given props for his great performances without forgetting them and then staying persistent with the idea his under performing the entire season such as yourself Yan , yet Enzo had a terrible season but you always speak on how great his been in instances this season , Caicedo best performance this season was way better than Enzo best performance this season , you kept speaking of his bad games like he’s never had any great games , it had nothing to do with him settling and everything to do with tactic , against Liverpool which was our first game Caicedo balled because him and Enzo were moving close together as a pair , even against Man City , the problem began when Potchettino started playing Enzo far ahead leaving Caicedo isolated , also both those players are very similar , we saw it when Enzo missed those games at the end of the season just what Caicedo offers and it’s more than just defence . Unfortunately Coach just expected Caicedo just win balls and pass to Enzo to allow him to do the rest which also is a hindering pathetic tactic which doesn’t create growth for the player and squad , especially when Enzo had been so limited in what he tried to do for the team . These two guys can be great if they’re played a little closer just as we did against our opening game with Liverpool and our match against city , these guys do a whole lot better when they’re closer to one another , like that iniesta , xavi partnership we saw at Barca . Let’s be real guys and pay attention to player strengths and what tactics are deployed and how they suit certain players and hinder others , instead of taking things from a surface level when football is an intricate sport .
I think some Chelsea fans have amnesia lol, some fans were horrible to the whole team for a long time! Let get behind the club, manager, players & owners this season
Let's not stoke the flames with the Caicedo comments. The kid uses the word "attacked" but is obviously meaning fans were critical about his performances. It's reasonable to think he'd feel the pressure playing at home until he started to perform. We have a HUGE talent, let's not spoil it?
He played under lippi ancelotti and pellegrini he was asked about mangers he has played under or atleast that's the way he understood it he has a lot of love and respect for pep
As a fan I’m a full believer that for 90 minutes you get right behind the team and “support” them. If you want to boo at full time fair enough. But for a young team to get boo’s during the game is a big negative so I’m not surprised by Caicedos comment. At the Leicester FA cup game game the atmosphere was just toxic, mainly towards Sterling but the negative effects the whole team. I hope we can go back to getting behind the team and cut out the booing
It's that running that saved us come the end of the season loll.....We generally outran our opponents and scored quite a few goals at the end of games.
Bit strange how it took his agent to hire someone to review his performances and let him know where he needs to improve. You would think the club would be doing this already? Very odd indeed
I suppose it would be difficult to do that for every player. And sometimes players might feel more comfortable getting their own guy. Still strange though
@@Bernard04-j8f I get that, but for a player you spent over £100m on, you think that would be different. That’s a serious investment made by the club. You would think they would be doing everything possible to improve him as a player and protect their asset/investment
@@Bernard04-j8f a club that pays like 5 million a week on wages can surely do it lol. But as the guy above you said, they may be more comfortable having their own guy. @@Bernard04-j8fHuh???? You can't afford individual attention when you don't have enough staff! Chelsea has more than enough exactly because it's a big club and Poch messed up as former players of his talked about how he analysed their game and showed them footage after every game and gave them instructions on how to improve. At Chelsea apparently he didn't do that so him and his staff did f all for our club! Palmer didn't improve under Poch because Palmer was already well coached at City,Mudryk has not improved just got to adapt a bit better in the league but was as bad as last season and sometimes worse,Enzo regressed,Caicedo became a mediocre player from one of the top midfielders in the league...all this because of some bozo coaching who's best achievement at Chelsea was to put us at 1st in injuries!
He has a Chelsea aura about him, Maresca. The Italian connection has always done us good. If I'm not mistaken. We've lifted a trophy with every Italian manager. Vialli, Ranieri, di Matteo, Anceloti, Conte. Etc
This new generation is different, they are more sensitive with the new era of social media. They see and read everything. Have to support these kids. They chose us and don’t dictate the market
Big aura in the interview. Looking forward to Maresca ball next season. Hopefully we can add a couple more experienced players and we should be in good shape
Funny that, when asked about the great managers he's worked or played under, Enzo mentioned Lippi, Ancelloti, Pellegrini... but omitted Pep. A bit of needle there you think, or maybe just forgetful?
Hey Yan I'm sure you'll cover it as your a G lol 😂 but Chelsea have dropped a training video and something that impressed me was Tosin already being vocal and encouraging his new team mates, have a feeling he'll be big for us just from the vibes I was getting lol
The Caicedo thing is weird. Why does his agent need to hire a personal coach? Isn't that supposed to be the job of the Chelsea coaching staff? Take him aside, say, hey, here's what you're doing and here's what you could/should be doing? Why wasn't that happening?
I don't want us to hype him up too much until we saw his pre-season. Guys before him all said the same thing and look where we still are today. Unless he can show a proper confident style of play during the pre-season, i'm not buying
I do beleave Caiceido , I have been to one football match and I can tell you this I will never ever go to another.Just to be clear it was not a Chelsea game. I feel sorry for most of the players . It was a vary scary experience.
You know what would have helped Caicedo last season? Not taking the number 25, on top the price that was an insane weight of expectations to take. In fairness, the club shouldn't have let him, but it sounded like it was pushed for by his team in negotiations.
Chelsea isn't that kind of club yet. 8, 11, 26, 3 etc are all just numbers and the wearers of those shirts all achieved much more for Chelsea than the no25 we all loved..
Alot of Chelsea fans and content creators are SO toxic!!! They have a very Black and White “Logic” that changes every weekend just look at the poch in and out debates last season… its absurd and sadly it seems to be in the match days too and not much support when players or the team actually needs it!! They are not fans
I think most Chelsea fans thought he was playing less well than he did at Brighton, and many no doubt had concerns we had spent too much on him, but I don’t recall him getting any verbal stick at the Bridge on match days.
We were extremely harsh on him, I’m saying we cuz I was not too happy at some matches but to be honest it was too much for someone at the age of 21 once more this is my opinion everybody think differently. I do believe that sometimes we as Chelsea fan we are not Patience, Just look at the amount off games that Mo Salah had at Liverpool And we are talking about a star of the team So for someone to just start in a new club with a huge price tag and on top of that big criticised by his own fan It could be difficult
I have a feeling that Marescas CLEAR tactics and instructions might be very good for a player like Mudryk. That he dosnt have to do it all himself, he just needs to focus on his own instructions. I feel he often dosnt know where to run, what to do. Now he might have it alot easier and we might see the best of him. Lwt me know guys what do u think?
Caicedo is young , came on a huge big money move with lots of drama between us Brighton and liverpool, came into a very chaotic team where he was partnered in Midfield playing with a player who was injured and not giving him a lot of cover if the fans are realistic with themselves are fanbase as well as the media was very toxic as our fanbase tends to allow the media to get us to be very toxic following the median narrative. These comments being said prior to preseason will bother no one text to what he seems to prefer a much more tactical manager with Enzo Maresca
Not surprised k our fans are toxic. If you see the things they said online last season, no footballer would want to play here. It is as pochettino said, the culture was really toxic last season
Agent hired an external help huh........ Chelsea go get that guy asap!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂But yea the fanbase was kinda toxic last season and it kinda got better as the results got better. We need to do a better job of supporting the team on match day especially when things aren't going good. RESULTS ALSO MATTER
As a season ticket holder that attends every home game I can't say I heard any chanting, booing, jeering etc at mioses, we weren't happy with he performance against wolves at home where his indidual errors cost us the game but even that day the whole team where so poor it largely went under the radar. I'd say the only abuse I saw was on social media but I don't often consider to be match going blues.
I have made complains in many ocations in the pass about Chelsea football Fans being the most poluted to deal with in England. They can stigmatise negativity at any giving opportunity if swift care is not taking.
I can't remember any RHAAASSS coming from the fans dem towards Caicedo, in fact it was the opposite.. But Gallagher was getting a lot of love because for a while he was EVERYWHERE in midfield while Enzo and Caicedo were finding their feet.
Unfortunately for Enzo, the age and experience of his squad necessitates a large portion of his role will be to take the blame from the players. If he's not extremely strong he risks isolating his players after a bad performance. What he cannot do is come out and blame the players for not executing the "idea" after a bad performance (and there will be a few, even Man City has off days). I am concerned about an inexperienced manager for this reason. Also, this team couldn't break down the low block at all, and now our style will invite it. I see a lot of scenarios where we're shopping for a new manager before the end of the season, but hope im wrong.
Yan, I don’t think it’s really fair of you to downplay Caicedo’s comments. Caicedo was getting booed regularly early in the season. Doesn’t help that he’s a black and South American, I’m sure that has a lot to do with it.
I’d say for every 1 person hating on him or the squad I’d say from what I’ve seen 6 or 7 have been saying he’s a quality player and the squad just needs time. Caicedo is a quality player we just need him to show it and he got a lot better like he said towards the end of the season making really good tackles etc I think its just skewed perspective, no matter how many positive / neutral comments you get you naturally focus and remember the negative ones, just like if you were doing the 9 times table you could get all of them right except 1 and youd focus on the 1 you got wrong rather than the 9 you got right it’s just human nature even Margot Robbie has said she struggles with image issues
Very bizarre Caicedo agent should have to hire someone to analyse his performances and support him. Didn’t we have a coach and a huge support team to do that? 🤷🏼♂️
I’m not surprised he and very probably the rest of the time felt like that with supporters booing the players and manager and calling for people to go ! The away supporters are actually supporters like myself and tend to encourage and support and aren’t just glory hunters as much of the home and online followers are ! Chelsea and all clubs are about winning but that doesn’t mean to say that realism and truth goes out of the window ! There’s a reason the word “supporter” is associated with football but it seems to be less and less of a thing nowadays due to the fact that there are less and less real connection to the clubs ! No one at our club should need to prove themselves more than wanting to be part of the club and they should be supported and encouraged from day one and the connection only grow until and if they show they aren’t really part of our club and don’t give their all for the shirt, badge and club ! To many armchair and glory hunting critics and nowhere near enough do or die, cut me and its blue I bleed supporters ! KTBFFH !
Yan, love your work and opinions on most things but I think you’ve been slightly out of touch with the majority of fans this season. Personally I’ve always loved caicedo being at Chelsea and can see him being a world class player for us, but the majority of social media fans were ripping him (and others) apart for the majority of the season mostly due to the price tag and underperforming the expectation that he’d hit the ground running for us.
7:40 Not really! I think he doesn't mean that the fans attacked him personally but the whole team and that affected him as well. Chelsea fans especially after that 12th position finish are toxic. Remember when the fans were chanting Roman's name and chanting:"you don't know what you're doing " to Poch...well i think moments like that affected Caicedo and pretty sure Mudryk and others too.

@@tawedzerwazhou9951 what good is a supporter that accepts mediocrity and doesn’t try and push the players to be better when they are clearly performing badly? Would a parent say well done if their child is failing all their tests at school? No of course not, they would say that’s not good enough you need to improve.
Finally s.o pointing out the Pep omission!! XD I thought I was the only one!! XD
The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence. The fact that we don't see it doesn't mean it's not happening. Even Thiago got attacked a lot despite being our best defender. Moi is human and he's only sharing what he experienced
I think caicedo and jackson were by far the two players getting the most grief at the start of the season, some of it definitely undeserved.
👏
Stop making excuse and trying to downplay all the shiiit fans. It’s embarrassing.
lmao the potter impression
Another great video Yan any chance we can see the old intro return for your old followers to get a bit of nostalgia 😉
Fans from other clubs in particular Liverpool seem to support their players regardless of form or mistakes
Congratulations on hitting 185k subs 👏
We need to do better as fans our expectations are ridiculous
What Caicedo actually said was that before febuary he preffered to play away because of the attacks the TEAM was getting at home not just him
He played under lippi ancelotti and pellegrini he was asked about mangers he has played under or atleast that's the way he understood it he has a lot of love and respect for pep
Finally welcome Enzo
As a fan I’m a full believer that for 90 minutes you get right behind the team and “support” them. If you want to boo at full time fair enough. But for a young team to get boo’s during the game is a big negative so I’m not surprised by Caicedos comment. At the Leicester FA cup game game the atmosphere was just toxic, mainly towards Sterling but the negative effects the whole team. I hope we can go back to getting behind the team and cut out the booing
Maresca was asked about how the experience he's gained playing under different coaches has influenced his career not coaches he has worked with
I read that Caicedo complained about poch saying all they did in training was run he's not the first player to say that
It's that running that saved us come the end of the season loll.....We generally outran our opponents and scored quite a few goals at the end of games.
Bit strange how it took his agent to hire someone to review his performances and let him know where he needs to improve. You would think the club would be doing this already? Very odd indeed
I suppose it would be difficult to do that for every player. And sometimes players might feel more comfortable getting their own guy. Still strange though
It's not odd. Players do this, the club does this. It's your own responsibility to be successful.
And its pretty much the coach's responsibility to do this, hiring personal reviewer is not that necessary if they understand what the coach says
Stop calling Pochetino football Chaos.
He has a Chelsea aura about him, Maresca. The Italian connection has always done us good. If I'm not mistaken. We've lifted a trophy with every Italian manager. Vialli, Ranieri, di Matteo, Anceloti, Conte. Etc
i think for foreign nationals who do not really understand English, criticism for someone else could be assumed as criticism to them
This new generation is different, they are more sensitive with the new era of social media. They see and read everything. Have to support these kids. They chose us and don’t dictate the market
Enzo was asked about the managers he played under, he didn't play under pep that's why he didn't mention his name.
He didn’t mention Guardiola because the question was for when he was a player
Big aura in the interview. Looking forward to Maresca ball next season.
Hopefully we can add a couple more experienced players and we should be in good shape
I love the photo of enzo maresca that Romano posted on his Facebook, don enzo.
Funny that, when asked about the great managers he's worked or played under, Enzo mentioned Lippi, Ancelloti, Pellegrini... but omitted Pep. A bit of needle there you think, or maybe just forgetful?
Honestly seemed like the home support was super toxic last season so I’m not surprised at these comments.
I want to be the most hated team in England again so hearing him talk about aggressiveness got me straight away
We never showed patience with poch bro
You know what would have helped Caicedo last season? Not taking the number 25, on top the price that was an insane weight of expectations to take.
In fairness, the club shouldn't have let him, but it sounded like it was pushed for by his team in negotiations.
Chelsea isn't that kind of club yet. 8, 11, 26, 3 etc are all just numbers and the wearers of those shirts all achieved much more for Chelsea than the no25 we all loved..
Sterling must be let go in order to sign a good right footed LW
Alot of Chelsea fans and content creators are SO toxic!!! They have a very Black and White “Logic” that changes every weekend just look at the poch in and out debates last season… its absurd and sadly it seems to be in the match days too and not much support when players or the team actually needs it!! They are not fans
Why the diet pep thing 😂😂😂 that's too funny
Paez will be better than people think!!!
Vids are amazing ♥️
Good things take time
I have a feeling that Marescas CLEAR tactics and instructions might be very good for a player like Mudryk. That he dosnt have to do it all himself, he just needs to focus on his own instructions. I feel he often dosnt know where to run, what to do. Now he might have it alot easier and we might see the best of him. Lwt me know guys what do u think?
Positive vibes all the way 😊🔥
Got everything in belize
How many home games did you go to?
Caicedo is young , came on a huge big money move with lots of drama between us Brighton and liverpool, came into a very chaotic team where he was partnered in Midfield playing with a player who was injured and not giving him a lot of cover if the fans are realistic with themselves are fanbase as well as the media was very toxic as our fanbase tends to allow the media to get us to be very toxic following the median narrative. These comments being said prior to preseason will bother no one text to what he seems to prefer a much more tactical manager with Enzo Maresca
The question was about the manager he played under, not the manager he worked with. It's very simple
Not surprised k our fans are toxic. If you see the things they said online last season, no footballer would want to play here. It is as pochettino said, the culture was really toxic last season
Caicedo is 100% right. The most toxic, arrogant, entitled and xenophobic fan base in world football
Diet Pep 🤣🤣
The moment Gallagher and cucerella help him out we saw a very good player
The fact his *AGENT* had to hire someone to review his film speaks volumes about why Poch was not fit for purpose. Quite ridiculous really.
There are some fans that still want Rice over caicedo. Thats to tell you how toxic our fanbase is
Caicedo definitely got grief from the fans, and if he’s saying it… it probably happened.
Yan with the plan
Poch was getting paid 10 million a year he had no respect for Chelsea football club or fans and he was a big time losser 😂😂
💙
Let's not fool ourselves chelsea have one of the most toxic fans 😢 fact I feel for these young kids
8:37 he got a good amount of hate and negativity
I have made complains in many ocations in the pass about Chelsea football Fans being the most poluted to deal with in England. They can stigmatise negativity at any giving opportunity if swift care is not taking.
Wow that was Short 🤷♂️
Veiga looks more like 35 years old honestly.
😂😂😂😂 he exists
Yan, I don’t think it’s really fair of you to downplay Caicedo’s comments. Caicedo was getting booed regularly early in the season. Doesn’t help that he’s a black and South American, I’m sure that has a lot to do with it.
Remember that Caicedo had to close his twitter account becuase it was unbearable!! He's such a humble kid.
Did he say chelsea fans is plastic? He isn't wrong u know
I’d say for every 1 person hating on him or the squad I’d say from what I’ve seen 6 or 7 have been saying he’s a quality player and the squad just needs time. Caicedo is a quality player we just need him to show it and he got a lot better like he said towards the end of the season making really good tackles etc
I think its just skewed perspective, no matter how many positive / neutral comments you get you naturally focus and remember the negative ones, just like if you were doing the 9 times table you could get all of them right except 1 and youd focus on the 1 you got wrong rather than the 9 you got right it’s just human nature even Margot Robbie has said she struggles with image issues
I love the Club, have done for over 50 years, but we do have an older poisonous element ...
