I love art that depicts the AT-TE with its actual conventional howitzer on back and not some other boring laser cannon. Even in the movie Attack of the Clones you can watch as every shell fired off the back of an AT-TE has arc whereas nothing else does, missiles aside. Yes really. Not every cannon that shoots a bullet needs to be called a proton torpedo *COUGHCOUGH INVISIBLE HAND COUGHCOUGH* Not every blue tracer needs to be a bolt of plasma. Its fine if its a shell. That's ok. Everything will be just fine. A thing can be just the one thing it is. That's ok and cooler anyway.

Just because B1s be thin and skeletal don't mean a nice dense fan of shrapnel won't tear em apart all the same as a blaster bolt concussively tearing them apart. Diet plasma 'lasers' good. Very good. But shells are just so straightforward and nice. ^^ One of the old sourcebooks I had, now with family far away, mentions that the Arc170 has a pair of conventional autocannons sitting just above the huge heavy laser cannons, for use against shielded droids or as a backup mostly. I imagine it would be like sticking an MG151 (20mm autocannon) Above a MK110 (57mm Bofors autocannon). Got the long barreled big gun, and then just the tiniest nub of the end of the baby gun just above it. Things disney starwars won't be cool enough to do anything with. A shame really. That's why this artwork is so great imo.
When a squad of clones stop for a little to prepare to join the others,and they keep hearing the sounds of an intense battle between their brothers and the droids.Two clones are sitting next to the campfire they just made,one is polishing his DC-15 and thinking about the fight that is going on,and one is just trying to sleep a little...but they are all nervous a little.
the best way to make fun of the ww1 and ww2 war sounds that helps you sleep and by far the best one coming from that i had to liston to clone wars soundtracks over laping this and my god it was perfect
