That's not obvious at all, goku got beat by superman again even in his rematch. While that fights still debatable, they've yet to let goku win once. So just because a rematch happens doesn't mean the victor changes. They just nerfed cloud in the first fight because they were lacking information that was only really available in japan at the time.
I really think Tifa should have won that because Yang is strong but her problem is her own semblance. She needs to be taking damage to gradually get stronger and she can only take so much damage before her aura depletes. Tifa's got both the strength and speed without having to risk herself as bad as Yang in my opinion.

Yes, they addressed it. With sense, Cloud could automatically know everything that Link could do, and Cloud has fought time traveling enemies before. Reshaping reality wouldn't do much since Cloud fought and defeated the embodiment of fate itself, and it's whole deal was rewriting reality.
Even if Cloud's team only withstood the planetary destruction from Supernova's impact with that Earth, that would still be about 60,000 exatons of TNT against Majora's 65 exatons.

Anyone else get an off feeling with this episode? I mean not once did they acknowledge that this was a rematch in any fashion and beyond that the episode felt rushed, as if they were going through the motions instead of like an event marking the end of the first half of the tenth season.

When I was a kid, I also used to think that the guy on the cover of that game what's the name Zelda till I finally played my first Super Smash Brothers game then I realized his name was Link. (Which confused me when I was a kid, but hey I was just a kid)

Dwayne not every Link in each game is the same person each Link has a different arsenal and life experiences so there's only a few that are the same person or that person's future descendants there's a crazy timeline split that explains how everything works that we as Zelda fans have to figure out and speculate on.
Many of the link games involve time, so in games like skyward sword, there are time rifts with technology eras showing up.
If anyone else remembers, they did this battle before.
To be fair, Dwayne, BotW takes place over 10000 years in the future.

(In my book) Link is actually cannonically stronger than Cloud, he still puts up a really good fight but I think Link wins. I already knew Cloud was gonna win in this death battle tho because its a remastered from a decade ago.

Technically if you think about it, it's more like the magic he wields is able to use the cycle. It runs on magic instead of electricity

@@stephenwhitakerii3206 exactly my point. Mario games have Mario in the title because the story revolves around him saving Peach, playing Tennis, finding the Thousand Year Door, etc... Legend of Zelda is always about Link protecting Zelda because she is the only one powerful enough to protect Hyrule. Technically we play as the bodyguard of the princess. At least, that's the way I have always seen it.

Dwayne's reaction is pretty reasonable for someone who hasn't play any 'Legend of Zelda' games, and I with you thinking Link had his title games such as "Link's Advenure", But alas I was wrong and remembered it was 'Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening'. Mind you a game that has no Zelda. Main theory is said that the 'Legend of Zelda' are stories/tales being told or written by Zelda.
As BotW goes there is lot of theory channels covering the ancient tech in the game, as history (in game) is Hyrule became really advanced with machines that use magic. Even your not a veteran Zelda player, BotW is very open for any kind play and very addicting to explore the land of Hyrule.

Anyone else get an off feeling with this episode? I mean not once did they acknowledge that this was a rematch in any fashion and beyond that the episode felt rushed, as if they were going through the motions instead of like an event marking the end of the first half of the tenth season.

Zelda Carrie's the blood of the Goddess through her lineage, of course the franchise is named after her. Also, highly advance robots have been around in Zelda since the beginning of time. If you think that it's ridiculous to have an ancient technological motorcycle as well, then there's your explanation. The Sheikah wanted to improve the Hero's arsenal ten fold, so they wanted to five him a superior horse, that being the Master Cycle Zero. A horse on wheels.
