      But keep your money in your pockets. This is all about money and an easy way for some people to relieve you of yours. Don't be naive. Go back and look at all of the videos being reacted on in the beginning and notice all of the reactors said the exact same words to the exact same videos. Every one. For the most part I didn't care as long as we're all having fun and interacting with each other. But its getting harder for some of them to play act and hide their true feelings. Quit being blind, deaf and dumb to whats been happening for a long time. And for God's sake, keep your money in your pockets.

    • @NotBenCoultry
      @NotBenCoultry 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Looneyintheboonies ALL of youtube is a business and we know, it's not a conspiracy. As far as the same things being said in reaction to music, that's how you know the message was effectively sung and played. That your listeners and fans (as a musician) get it.
      Put the same set of lyrics in front of ten ppl and 7 will get the same message.

    • @Looneyintheboonies
      @Looneyintheboonies 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NotBenCoultry The exact same words I'm referring to are, "I don't mean to sound racist.. this isn't a racist thing... but I thought they were black. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, no way... I would have never guessed they weren't black." This was said to the Bee Gees, the Righteous Brothers... by one reactor after another. I'm positive that wasn't the message in the song. And no race has a corner on the market for having a soul and singing with it. I think some reactors are sincere and are genuinely interested in exchanging music and knowledge of each other. But I watched one of the LFR reactors listening to Freebird and saying way to quick "I hear 3 guitars, yes I hear 3 guitars" in the beginning part when only the slide is being played. It was so phony, and he never made another comment except when he thought it was over and he could not hide his boredom or disdain. He was completely fake and I hope no one actually paid him money to do that. Now, I love little Jojo, he is adorable. But I'm not convinced he's not pulling our leg either, but he's not mean spirited, he's precious. This other guy couldn't hide his disdain though. I've seen others like that too. I really like Jamel a.k.a. Jamal. He's honest, I believe. And nice. But I'm not wearing blinders to how this started out.

    Lynyrd Skynrd is from the seventies. An era of guitar bands and musicians who could actually play instruments and compose musical notes. Write lyrics with hooks, bridges, and choruses. That's the formula.
    Today's music is god awful because the artists have no talent. No one, and I mean no one, is going to be reacting to today's music fifty years from now.

      Bob’s sound and groove was MUCH better for the band. Artimus is a great drummer, more “skilled” than Bob, I guess. But he played too busy, for my taste at least . More of a “drummer’s drummer,” as they say.

      Actually the percussionist playing the Congos was a Black girl from Detroit named Bobbye Hall.
      She had quite the career providing backup percussion for some of the biggest bands in the 70's!
      (The reason I mentioned that she was Black is to try to show that Skynyrd wasn't a "racist" band like a few critics tried to label them).

    They are probably my favorite band next to Sabbath and to answer the question why are they special, and honestly I think because they always spoke the truth and kept it real asf! Everybody can relate to a Skynyrd song!

    Hi.. a little late .. but better than never.. when I was in jail back in ‘03-04.. here in Fla.. I worked 11pm-8am in the kitchen.. after breakfast.. while we were washing the dishes and cleaning up…us girls..about 20 of us.. would sing this.. along with Percy Sledge.. Aint no sunshine..we were good too. Then I guess some one came back from their vacation.. and ruined our mornings.. the commanders office was directly above the kitchen…shut us down.. said he wasn’t running a night club!!! He had no ear for music or any taste… I know it got us thru some bad nights.. bad days.. 🥺😌
    You’re awesome..

    Skynyrd is sort of the Black Sabbath of the American South. They had no problem writing songs that might offend. If you ever listen to Skynyrd's live album "One More For The Road", you can actually hear some booing during the song "Midnight Special".

    Van it doesn’t matter what these negative people say I think you are the most realistic reactions of anyone Even though I’m a patreon member I can’t get into my account but I still watch every day and I like your reactions to L Skynard’s music But it’s seems like everyone reacts to the same songs From this band or some of their most popular songs No one reacts to their best must like CRY FOR THE BAD MAN,ROLL GYPSY ROLL,DOUBLE TROUBLE, I NEVER DREAMED,ALL I CAN DO IS WRITE IT IN A SONG,COMING HOME,ONE MORE TIME,AM I LOOSING ONCE AGAIN,EVERY MOTHER’S SO and I could go on naming song after song from this band It’s amazing how many songs this band had But any of the songs that I named are great songs from this band if you react to anymore Skynard

    They used to play a little joint on the west end of Jacksonville called The Still that had a dance floor. ("Cutting the rug at a place called The Jug) If you were stage right, it was exactly 3 running steps to the door. The son of the teacher they named the band after bought the place in the 80's and now it's a strip club called Leonard Skinner's.
