    Ahhhhhh, the screen cleaner....saving the lower backs of WC'ers worldwide. Best tool in the bucket!👍😎
    Also, be wary of using it in high winds...it can bend a screen in half lickity split.

    Hey I just started a window cleaning side hustle potentially making it into a official business, I find your videos to be really useful and informational & I like how you add personal experience tips in them. To add on I just did my first gig march 16th and made $100 thank you 🙏🏼

    The best tools are stone-simple, do a great job at exactly what they are intended to do, and save you time and effort. This one checks all the boxes.

    Hahah...'underside of a screen, well not really sure what the underside of a screen is'. Bro, that's why we totally enjoy the vids!
    Plus we just bought the cleaner a few weeks ago. This video did help on how to be effective. Been racking in some nice comments from our clients already. 👌

    My method is a bit different. One day we landed a retirement center with 900 frames and 400 screens.
    “Focus on the corners.” Became my metal focus as I spun each screen. I start with a corner insert because it’s easier to insert into the unit; 1,2,3,4 turn; (4x corners) then two taps on the top and then stack in the sun.
    River views bring in the bugs and spiders but I never needed to re-clean a single screen once I switch to corners :-)

    Do you always remove the screens when doing exterior WFP window cleaning? If I don't have a ladder should I just ask the home owner to remove the upper floors?

    I wasn't sure if this thing was worth the 400 price tag but it cut my screen cleaning time in half and damn near everybody that walks by asks for a business card. I've got a small pump sprayer I fill with simple green and water to spray down extra filthy screens and use a brush if there's a bunch of cob webs. My back has definitely thanked me for buying this.

    I do spline away from me, so I can see those edges better and give a little extra scrub if needed. Also if you have good water pressure, poke more holes for better flow and better rinse. I have 6 holes in mine and it rinses SOOO much better than when it was brand new and only the 2.

    I go back and forth on getting one of these. I like to use screen magic and it tends to last 2 years before I have to clean them again. Great video brotha!

    • @ericab7873
      @ericab7873 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Any tips for using screen magic? We use the screen cleaner but I've tested screen magic a couple times to use on smaller jobs or screen porches and I didn't really notice a difference.

    • @Kanevo04
      @Kanevo04 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ericab7873 I hope I don’t lose you in the way I explain it lol
      First: I use a pump sprayer so it sprays evenly
      Second: I stack 3-5 screens on top of each other so I’m not just spraying the screen magic into the wind. Also, I spray the front of the “stack” and the back.
      Third: I take a 12in ettore golden sleeve scrubber and work the screen magic into the screen
      I’ll be the first to admit that this sounds like a long process and it can be at the beginning but once you get the hang of it, it moves by pretty quickly.

    • @ericab7873
      @ericab7873 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Kanevo04 Thanks! I will try it out with a pump sprayer and stacking them…makes sense. I was hoping it would give old faded screens new life but that hasn’t been my experience so far. Although it was a bit windy both times I tried it so maybe that’s why it wasn’t effective

    • @Kanevo04
      @Kanevo04 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ericab7873 you probably already know this but if the vinyl/polyurethane has worn off the fiberglass of the screen then there is no reviving the screen. But if the vinyl is still intact and just filthy, then screen magic makes it look like putting armor all on you tires 👍

    Stevo how would you clean a screen that’s on a second floor ??

  • @MrCutLawnCare
    @MrCutLawnCare 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Couple things-
    It definitely helps you stand out, people think it’s so cool.
    BUT! I recommend only using it on relatively new screens. It will rip and damage 10 year old screens super easily.

    • @reecebernet714
      @reecebernet714 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Tyler Neely It is for many jobs. If there are over 7-9 screens I bust it out. Old screens, can do more harm than good.

    • @ericab7873
      @ericab7873 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting. We use it for a lot of old screens and haven't had any issues. I wouldn't use it on a screen that was already torn but the brushes are pretty soft so they shouldn't rip a screen.

    • @MrCutLawnCare
      @MrCutLawnCare 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ericab7873 I appreciate your insight. The difference could be that I’ve only over used an IPC screen washer. May be slightly different.
      Anyways, I’ve just resulted in spraying screens with my house wash mix, and then quickly rinsing each screen each side. Works just as well.

      Pricing will depend on your location. I'm in a higher COL area and I'm $4-5 per screen and add more if they are really dusty/dirty or if they are large.

      Dude, I regularly get 5 dollars a screen. Seems a bit high but it isn't worth my time for anything less. You can charge what you want but I definitely wouldn't go less than 3 dollars a screen.
