Your ending comments about sacred things, sacred places, and to think without carelessness truly speaks volumes about what's happening in this day and time. May we remember that the Lord's hand is upon everything that's ever been created for our own good.

What a great reminder just before studying the 2024 Book of Mormon curriculum, especially on the Title Page.

I did not know all ordinances are sealed. I like hearing when a blessing is sealed. I too love what you say about that picture with a brother sleeping, I am one of ten children four boys and six girls and dad built a bunk-room seperate from the house but close to it and it had two sets of bunk beds so the boys slept in there.

So the big issue surrounding the translation just now. Was it only done through the seer stone and the hat, or mixed with the use of the U&T, and also using the KJV Bible to copy sections that Joseph recognised from the Bible and as the saying goes, not needing to reinvent the wheel?

The best article I can recommend to you is found in the Church History Topics section of the Gospel Library. Highly recommend that resource. Here is the article on Translation of the Book of Mormon: www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/history/topics/book-of-mormon-translation?lang=eng

I'm sure Joseph Smith was shocked to hear such a name. We, in our days, know the name and even the statue placed on almost every temple of the church. Just an insight that might be a little surprising. I, again, read the Book of Mormon in Arabic and have started to read the D&C in Arabic. Moroni is more of a famous Middle Eastern name than we might think. Moroni is the capital of a small, three-island nation located above Madagascar, called Comoros. Moroni means "Heart of the Fire"; Comoros means "The Moon"; Cumorah, in Arabic, comes from the same root-word as Comoros and means something like "Moon Beam" or "Moon Shine". Is it just coincidence? I'd have to say yes but for all of those to equate to each other is interesting.
