Number 6: In chess that would just have been arbitrated, i.e. the arbiter would have decided the result based on the evidence given to him by players (i.e. the moves and variations they intended).
That's because chess is stupid as fuck and not even really a game. everything is known about it and there's not much innovation to be done. also chess isn't a spectator's game. no one wants to pay to go watch a tournament and then just have some jackass be like "yeah i decided that CLG won that match so they get to move on in the tournament"
What about in OSRS’s first tournament. It was basically a battle royale, but the fog instakilled u. And the final area was blocked off by a gate that only 1 person at a time could enter, this causes hundreds of players to instadie
that is not 100% true, there was 2 other way inside, by it was still sorta guarded, glory can teleport you inside and there is a shortcut in the backroom :), what was rumored problem that seems quite likely was a now former jmod(jed) leaked the location to his clan as they where all there. which was the main issue. Not the one tile entrance
I would like to note that Smash 4 had a controversy that would slide right into the middle of the list: at one point during a major tournament, someone set the gravity to 0.9 and both messed with combos and led to earlier kills.
I got one for you that happened to myself as a Coach In the Vainglory Championship we (Fnatic) faced off against mouz and we had to remake the match after around 9 mins (Vainglory matches used to take 15-25 min) because we were on the wrong side of the map... We went for a 1 time use tactic that only worked with a special invade and not if the enemy knows whats happening... In the first game we snowballed massively and the game was as good as over (imagine a 20k gold lead at 15 mins in League) then we had to remake with the same drafts and with them knowing our gameplan and rotation we couldnt pull off the combo.... They won easily with our mentality being broken and our comp being unable to work. This then continued to be a Nightmare but then for mouse as the match was remade again the next day wkth different drafts which we then won... Overall just a nightmare for both teams getting a win taken from them and all over an issue that didnt really exist as the map was completely symmetrical and the draft was done on the correct sides in the first place.
The Northern Arena Rocket League Invitational 2 could be on here. It was in the Ontario Science Centre and there was this space exhibit just outside out of the auditorium. It was hearabld in the audio too on stream.
The worst part about the Smash 4 incident is that Smash has had such a long and tough journey in gaining respect and prominence. Nintendo tried stopping it from being at Evo and being played in tournaments. If Smash Ultimate wasn't around the corner that Smash 4 final could've done more damage.
I remember when I used to watch most amazing top ten. I don’t miss the channel but I do miss the personalities like Danny Burke and Rebecca Felgate. I’m glad to see Danny here recently.
I'm more surprised that side-switching isn't baked into tournaments. Some people just play better from certain sides, and you should have to switch every round.
I remember chiken like it was yesterday man, you could not start a single comp game. Pretty sure thats why they introduced no lobby rejoins after three kicks and not being able to join a lobby that is searching.
The Bayo thing should have resulted in a disqualification for both players and #3 would be granted the win. Why have rules against match stalling if you don’t enforce it?
Ahh the fountain hook. I remember watching that live and losing my shit when I was watching it because Navi was (and still is) my favorite Dota 2 team. I know it's controversial but I feel like it was ok. Like they said it took skill to pull off. Not to mention if you wanted to completely remove it all you had to do was ban 1 of 2 champs. Pudge has always been niche but Chen is a solid support so taking him out of the equation is always a good choice. Still love to see how salty LODA was over it. Like even the team that lost to it admitted they fucked around too much and weren't playing careful or patient. You just know he's mad because he didn't think to do it first. Just one of many things I point to as to why I hate Alliance.
The CS1.6 tournament at WCG07 fits on this list. A duckjumping nightmare in which a korean team went through because of pressure from the main sponsor, Samsung.
The GenG - DRX LCK fuck up was a 4 hour pause. Not sure how they missed that one on this list. even worse, it cooled down GenG who was running DRX over before the discord problems

I swear that’s the guy from Amazing Top 10
It is
I would like to note that Smash 4 had a controversy that would slide right into the middle of the list: at one point during a major tournament, someone set the gravity to 0.9 and both messed with combos and led to earlier kills.
Yeah right I remember reading something on that
Im glad i can see danny again miss when he use to do the most amazing top 10 videos
I got one for you that happened to myself as a Coach
In the Vainglory Championship we (Fnatic) faced off against mouz and we had to remake the match after around 9 mins (Vainglory matches used to take 15-25 min) because we were on the wrong side of the map...
As someone who had to compete against Lima and Abadango’s Bayonetta in Smash 4.. it makes ya wanna pick up smoking.
If there is one that I would add, it would everything that was fighting game tourney, Canada Cup 2018. I was live for that crapshoot
I felt so bad for Thorzain when those DC:s happened :(
The Northern Arena Rocket League Invitational 2 could be on here. It was in the Ontario Science Centre and there was this space exhibit just outside out of the auditorium. In the exhibit was this launch simulator with air prsessure and this metal disc going up a tube. Every time the metal disc hit the ground, an EXTREMELY loud DING would happen. Ugh it was awful. It was hearabld in the audio too on stream.
CaptainZack is and will always be a thorn in Smash Brothers side
He is a sociopath whos ruined smash careers for profit
The worst part about the Smash 4 incident is that Smash has had such a long and tough journey in gaining respect and prominence. Nintendo tried stopping it from being at Evo and being played in tournaments. If Smash Ultimate wasn't around the corner that Smash 4 final could've done more damage.
For #3, the side switch controversy, what happens if the other player doesn’t want to switch, and refuses?
I'd assume that they juat dont switch then
Wow I didn't know Danny Burke is part of theScore esports! Love you Danny, I was already fan back at Most Amazing Top10s!
KEEP EM COMIN SCOREESPORTS
Danny fn Burke from the scary top 5 lists is BACK baby
2012 when NA was still able to make it to the grand final xD
Damn, it looks so impossible now, that's sad and funny at the same time xD
I love Danny’s King Krule shirt.
thought i was the only one that noticed lol
@@kris-py9zd Hahaha, I thought I was too
If this was a sport channel: you 8-2 see it
@Pepper_ Slay3r yes
more new homie, you a chill dude man. keep it up, your amazing!!
I remember when I used to watch most amazing top ten. I don’t miss the channel but I do miss the personalities like Danny Burke and Rebecca Felgate. I’m glad to see Danny here recently.
That fountain hook is some super hilarious shit.
Someone give that friendly chiken a medal
The Bayonetta bros was wholesome. Good sportsmanship.
I remember abusing the crouch bug in comps those were the funniest reactions I ever got from enemies
That Turtle disconnect was so funny when it was live
We all know that those two players then became "smash bros"
Well ones a butt bros
that mandatory "damn just 3 minutes ago" comment xD
tbh if you were going to include Fortnite, i would have added the freaking sword that was added the day of a major tournament LMAOOO
Yeah fr that was horrible
Sonicfox said "I'm about to live in this dude's head rent free"
The Bayo thing should have resulted in a disqualification for both players and #3 would be granted the win. Why have rules against match stalling if you don’t enforce it?
That's my forehead at 7:46 leggo! Part of that "absolute disaster of a series"
ngl the bayonetta game was wholesome af
Danny Burke? Havent see you in a long time mate. I loved your scary story telling, didnt expect u to see here XD
But nice seein you again man.
Valkyrae “former” 100T streamer? Do you know more than we do?
@dumpster joe shut it kiddo :)
Glad to see Danny Burke
This is just a random montage of things you found memorable, has nothing to do with the title.
I was surprised the first thunder smash tournament wasn't on here
Wowie, 50 seconds ago!
Danny Burke in the E-sports scene !! Very nice
The smash 4 bit was genuinely adorable trolling tho and I love every bit about it
"You rarely remember when a tournament goes well"
well I sure remember all of the WePlay Dota tourneys, that's how good they are.
DANNY I was not expecting to see him here, glad he’s well
I can't believe Worlds 2012 Silver Scrapes on repeat isn't on here. Literally made a random song into the most hype song in esport
100 percent on the side of the 2 smash players at number 1. The crowd were constanstly booing and taunting them all tourny and they worked together to piss em off at the end. Rightfully so imo.
What’s not controversial is that King Krule shirt. Excellent taste, my friend.
Loved that King Krule shirt
The fact that you could get yoinked all the way from fountain in Dota at one point was hilarious.
Danny? Haven’t seen u since most amazing top 10!
I remember this dude from most amazing top 10! Good god times have changed.
Danny doing top 10 other than top 10 scariest
Yeah sonicfox did that to throw off his opponent. He does that slot in smaller and main circuits.
When he was in smashcon a few years back he pulled the same move when he losing 0-2
WAIT I DIDNT KNOW DANNY IS A HOST FOR THESCORE, DAMNNNN WHAT AN UPGRADE!, I GENUINELY MISS YOU DANNY!
