It was funny, but then as we were driving away we saw Woodruff and we interviewed him too. He thought I was an actress too and I wouldn’t tell him my name, so anyway we have him on video TOTALY trying to hit on me and begging me to put him “in my next film”, it was so funny- My friend was zooming in and out of his face so close you could see spit coming out of his mouth. I worked at Paramount Pictures for 18 years. I'm Andrew, I am a student at UCLA and I want to make movies. The only way I can describe Dennis is that he is a character. At first, he seems to lack self-awareness. But as he speaks, you get the sense that he knows what he is saying. It's just that what he knows is a little different from how most people would interact with "knowledge". He makes movies, and it's clear that he knows movies and that he knows LA. That is more than I can say about most people. He seems to have a chaotic sort of orientation to the world. In this chaos sometimes I think I can see what he wants to say. But it is always just for a moment. His movies, what little I have seen of them, are unlike anything I have seen, as cliche as that sounds. He gives me hope that I can make movies too. He wants me to tell you all to give people starting out a chance. If you are also starting out, look out for your peers. If you've made it, don't forget where you came from. -Andrew
Dennis was an extra in the movie Hard Justice. Just to mess with him, someone in production told him they were only hiring bald actors that day. He came back from his car a few minutes later with his head fully shaven. He was the only bald person on set that day.

Dennis was an extra in the movie Hard Justice. Just to mess with him, someone in production told him they were only hiring bald actors that day. He came back from his car a few minutes later with his head fully shaven. He was the only bald person on set that day.
dennis: known in LA
dennis and people in LA: he is known around the world and appears in books in... kroatia
His story/life would make a good movie lmao
I really liked what he said about your life being your own movie - decide the way it plays out etc. Much respect for this guy doing what he loves no matter what the situation.
Awwww I wish someone would just humor him and make him feel special before he passes
Dennis needs to do some more collaborations with upcoming filmmakers. Especially famous ones. He’s available and very ready to have some fun.
Love this!!!
Talk about determination...👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Okay, but like I thought it was an old lady in the thumbnail.
Somebody really should give him his own show! He’s so interesting and funny, I would watch his show everyday LOL
i agree with you --dennis says thank you---i have always wanted my own show maybe it will happen this year. please share your coment with your friends. it's wonderful to so many people seeing my stuff. please check out denniswoodruffshow.com
This man was neighbor for twenty years, rip Dennis, you’r definitely unforgettable.
He should get a part time job if going broke is becoming the norm.
I wanted to be a pro surfer but had to get a job when it wasn't covering all the bills.
Yeah. Or he could work through a temp agency. I don't know about America but I'm a Canadian whose been able to "temp full-time" out of necessity for nearly a year and a half now. Theres so many people that need workers for just between 1 to 3 days
Getting a real job is how dreams are lost and creativity is put on the shelf

Which is why San Pedro EZ recommended he get a part-time job, so he can work half the time while filming the other half of the time. Otherwise it seems he'll likely just go homeless and then have to work a full time job in order to get off the street and then to stay financially stable
Not getting. A job how u go homeless with nothing
Good job Vice. More old Vice thank you!
I think this is going to be the peak of our friends acting career. Hope he enjoys this.
This guy is like those 16 year old soundcloud rappers
Here before he hits a million 😂😂
Thank Vice for discovering Dennis, finally.
Somebody invest in this wholesome man, PLEASE
Good for him and not giving up!
Need more like him 👍he got it going on love this guy 🔥
Dennis, I recall telling you to get 2 days film school..I went to Cal-Arts and every artist has group characteristics..actors are well dressed, flamboyant and are social butterflies..advice: always be dressed for your lucky day!
He confronted me at the grocery store today trying to have me check out his new film
This guy is an absolute legend. I want to do a feature length doc on this guy
This is a good 5-minute segment. Unfortunately it is almost 12 minutes long.
When the dog on 9:40 takes a dump on camera and Dennis Woodrow looks away....😁😁
