  • The deep-diving submersible Alvin takes scientists into the depths of the ocean to give them a first-person, up-close look at the things that happen there and the things that live there. After its 2014 upgrade, the sub (and its support team) is even more capable and ready to explore and to spur the imagination of a new generation of deep-sea scientists and engineers.

This is how deep sea submersibles are made, safe and reliable, even after 58 years.

Why are there so few views of this amazing information? Where do we stand now in 2019 on the cusp of 2020 as far as deep-sea submersible technology?

I admit I would definitely go down there with them and would love to do so.

Why do you need a manned submersible, if you can do anything remotely?

I’ve always wanted to go on a submarine , but never that deep , I think I would be afraid going that deep !

The yellow submarine is the most famous submersible I will posit.
