When you hit the part where you read like two lines in the book and discovered how it works, I was sold. After you did the re-sort and read a few, I bought the deck. I’m just learning tarot and oracles, but this seems like a must have for me. I would click like a million times if possible.
That was such a fun moment for me too!!! *grin* The book is SO good and so clear and approachable - as is the deck!

I've been study astrology for 15 years and I really wish something like this had been around at that time. This is really lovely. Thinking about picking this up myself. It seems to work as a study deck to learn the nuts and bolts as well acts as a functional oracle.

That's interesting because I do planet, sign, house readings with my Moonology Manifestation Oracle cards. I could do use this spread with this deck.
As an Astrologer, I love the AstroSoul Oracle Deck and the Living Wheel Astrology decks, but I don't recommend them for beginners. Astrology is a very complex system that does need in-depth study. I agree that the Heavenly Bodies Astrology deck would be a good tool to get started.

Wanted to find a good astrology deck (with beautiful art) that would speak to me and help me learn more about astrology, for a while. I know a lot about specific signs but not enough about planets, houses etc.

Update: I got the deck and i think it is marvellous for learning astrology, the book is perfetc in all ways... BUT I am a bit disappointed with card stock. It is extremely thin and one has to be super gentle with it to not damage the cards. If the cards were thicker, the deck would be just perfection (atm it is still perfection but only what it gives us cognitively and art-wise) in my humble opinion.

Bought this deck right after Bonnie's review dropped! It's even more gorgeous in person, cameras simply can't do the soft watercolor tones justice. It's the perfect all-around astrology deck -- good for both readings and for learning. I also have the Astrosoul deck and feel the same way. It definitely requires you to have a bit more astrology knowledge to use it, and is a bit of a chore to use for readings. It's beautiful though and cost too much for me to rehome 😭. Lovely review as always!

Before I purchase decks I tend to look up reviews and in this case yours, as I do trust in & value your opinion. Part of me hopes you’d say “ehh, it’s ok,” but then part of me hopes you’re going to love it which then causes my wishlist & money decrease lol.
I will justify it because I am a newbie learning all I can & truly & wholeheartedly love every minute of this new journey I’m on and I’ve always enjoyed astrology so yeah…there’s my just cause lol.

I ordered and received this recently, I’d never seen it before and it just happened to pop up on Amazon. I was instantly drawn to it. Its really tough to find an astrology deck that ticks all the boxes, I totally agree with you! I love that this uses colour and artwork to depict the themes beyond just the symbols, but it also doesn’t skimp on the symbology and important information. You pointed out a few things I hadn’t noticed yet, and so I look forward to using it more to keep discovering the new things this deck has to offer. I can’t wait to do birth charts with it! Cardinal signs begin each season (like Cancer ♋️ beginning summer). Fixed signs are in the middle of each season (like my sun sign of Scorpio ♏️ being in the middle of autumn), and mutable signs end the season (like Gemini ♊️ ending spring).
Super synchronicity ! I found this on Amazon and I was like hmmm I need a walkthrough! Thank you it is gorgeous 💓🙌 I’m a beginner too and I’ve been drawn to Vedic astrology and now found out about the 13th sign! I highly suggest the book by Vasilis Kanatas! Super interesting read for anyone wanting to learn astrology from all sides! Western astrology in my opinion is not super accurate 💓 although it is helpful to start out 🙌
Lisa I love watching your videos and when I saw this deck I just had too and it arrived yesterday in Australia. It is just what I needed to understand the basic of my natal chart and when looking at the example on page 31, full moon in Libra which actually tomorrow I knew I was on the right path and my reading today for my soul growth was so me. Thank you so much. I'm 60 next year and have been struggled with ovarian cancer for 3 year then this oh so challenging couple of years living on the east coast of NSW Australia and Covid, I have totally enjoyed watching you and now I'm even more passionate to study astrology and tarot more ❤

LOVE this deck, bought it after seeing ur video, well bought 2 copies and had drama! #printing issues. More on that later.
What I love
Laying out all the cards so they are under earth air fire water and then the coloring and the icons show u which element they fit into, then it shows which houses go with which, there is so much to learn and I love the artstyle and the book is fab so much information and well presented so that you can relate the new information to something u recognise. so much easier to understand.
If you go to lilys website, you can get pdf of your birthchart too. I might do video on it one day too. U tried it with the moonolgy deck to blend in the moon phase withthe words with that and its brill. I used a Earthpathways diary for looking up moon phase and what its what.
Drama
Printing issues throughout both decks. Deck 1 half the deck was printed off to one side so I ordered another and didn't return in (in case the next copy had box damage)
Deck copy 2, more than half the deck had issues. and the box edge was broken. some off to one side some on the slant.
SO I went through both decks and by blending them I managed to get one deck that was for the most part OK not perfect but less annoying than the first.
Have resigned myself to trimming deck 2 that now has all the issues down to remove the borders.
I'll keep one deck for learning about astrology and the second deck to shuffle and have as a trad oracle. I love the art work so much.
LOVE the deck itself, can't blame the artitst for printers issues. just check ur deck careful when u get it.

I just bought this deck a couple of months ago as I am also learning about astrology. I feel like these cards could be laid out for a year ahead spread and pull tarot card to lay over them for a reading. I don't think that I am explaining it as well as I am imagining it :) but I'm sure you catch my drift. I feel like you could also lay them out for a daily/weekly draw the same way using the transit cards + tarot etc. Anyway, Mrs. Papez, you have inspired me again. I love the way you get excited with a new deck! I guess we can work with this deck in many ways. I divided it into Planets, aspects with the nodes, signs (and all the related cards) and then the houses. I've got a pretty good message like that. Spreadmachine (thankful Little Red Tarot in the UK stocked that one but sadly not the expansion decks so far) and now this one. Btw I am a book sniffer too. Its totally a thing.
OH MY DAYS!!!!!!! 🙏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I need this deck, how do I know? Well, like u I adore every aspect of it, the box, the cards the book, the option to ditch the inner carstock so I could pop in a notebook and crystals with it. The fact that the deck inside is in a BOX so if space got too tight n I had to discard the box (heartbreaking) then the cards still have a home to go to and the book could go on a shelf. Also intuition, soul guidance. U know the phrase Your soul speaks only as loud as it takes you to listen', well my intuition/soul guidance does this thing, if there is something that Im meant to journey with, even if Im having a 'not sure' then it will override n make me burst into tears. Sometimes its like a nudge, if ignored a push, or sometimes straight into floods of tears. The art in this deck made me cry, in a good way. Im so thankful you said its mass market coz I'd be heartbroken to find it was going to cost more in shippin and import fees that the deck price, as happens when decks are from far away. I 'should' put this on a wish list for a week...but...don't think I'll hold out that long.

Each house card represents its corresponding Zodiac sign. (Aries ♈️ is fire ❤️🔥 for the 1st house...through Pisces ♓️ (water)💧 as the 12th house.)

I've been incorporating astrology within the tarot, solely through the tarot and now I'm seeing astrology decks surfacing.
I have two primary astrology inspired tarot decks and they are wonderful to work with.
Though, I may consider this deck or the "Celestial Fortune" deck in the future as I begin to do more astrology centric readings.
How does your chart read with this deck?
I ask as I'm certain you went ahead and did a quick astrology analysis with the deck. 😉
I am watching section two: how the deck works. I had another deck made in this way long time ago (I lost it during my last moving in 2004 together with my first Astrology books). It had not pictures, only sentences, and it was in Italian language. Some combo were weird, but it was useful to understand birth charts when I was only a student. I think beginners really will enjoy playing with. Of course, if you want to go further you must learn the technique behind all of this stuff. In this way you will be able to interpret Asteroids and new Planets too if you like. And there are also Minor Aspects, which are minor only because less known and not used by Tolemaic Astrology.
I definitely hope to go deeper eventually! So many fun things to study!

I think you would like the Astrosoul Orbs deck. I can’t remember the name but I have both of the Astrosoul Oracle decks & I learn more with the Orbs one...lol...I can’t with names. Roseology mentioned it that’s what made me get them...she said one is really accurate & the other she learned a lot.
I forgot why I even started this comment lol! But I got the Heavenly Bodies deck today! I have no clue how to use it? I mean can I use the whole deck & still read the cards the way u did in this video or do I always use the deck separated. Not quite sure yet...

Ahhhh I have been looking for an Astrology deck lately just as a learning tool/supplement!! I have been flipflopping on Living Wheel since you reviewed it but I was always unsure about that particular one because it didn't seem like it would be a good oracle!
edit: Gosh, the box alone makes me want to nerd out in the best way possible.
Pretty deck for beginners. The artwork is very simple but delicate and the overall product seems well done. I have other Astrology decks and would buy only if discounted because I am a near pro Astrologer, but if the booklet is good I would suggest the deck to someone wanting to learn in a practical way.

The Living Wheel is the most aesthetically beautiful one I've ever had, but ultimately I needed something that i could use to learn astrology and to draw as an oracle. That said, any deck of astrology references, once one knows astrology really well, could work as an oracle I think??

I have to ask...did it take 3 months to arrive from book depository?...i dont order from them for that reason....and that was pre covid. Also, i highly recommend Benebell’s course if you really want to grasp astrology. Warning..it goes deep and there lots of work involved. Prepare to spend the year finishing it. Im doing it in chunks, but learned so much.
Nope! It only took around 3 weeks! It was book depository via Amazon so not sure if that made a difference!! :) Some of their stuff DOES take forever to Canada though. Good to know on Benebell's course - thank youuu!! 😘

I have the deck. It's a UK deck so it's a bit pricey if you're not in the UK. Absolutely gorgeous but as Lisa says, it's not the best for readings. I'd say it's best suited for people who are already at the intermediate level in learning astrology. Still a lovely deck and the book is pretty good.
