18:33.5 *The Old Republic* era isn't getting done until they get better feedback on what they're doing. They won't do it because there will be changes. It will be written and depicted from varying perspectives than books and games.
Why? Do you think the same writers and director will do the DotJ and Old Republic? I see too many complaints about "bad writing" and "bad directing or acting". Younger fans want instant gratification and older fans desire nostalgia. What we get next (or soon) doesn't depend on the reactions to one movie or another. It's based on how fans make them feel about what they're doing. If the fans reject something new, they try something nostalgic. If they reject nostalgia, they'll try new. They'll try anything but what fans know (the EU) because if they _"mess that up"_ the backlash will be misrepresented. We all want something different. If they give us all something we want, do you think fans will begin to respect what new things they give us? Do you think they'll appreciate "what we want" from a different perspective?
We all know it doesn't work when we allow our speculation to become an expectation. We talk about what we want -- creators in videos and us in the comments (Social Media) -- but if they have other plans or they're not listening (which they usually are), not getting what we want is our problem, not theirs. It's their story to tell.
23:11 Why do we want *The Clone Wars* arcs to be finished? Why do we want *The Clone Wars* live-action shows? *The Clone Wars* was an excellent series. A few arcs would be interesting to have finished, but they may not fit in the timeline anymore and don't accentuate the series or Skywalker Saga. If anything gets done with the unfinished arcs and retold in live-action, they'll be in a different context. The one that should be done in (segments of flashbacks) live-action is The Mortis Arc, giving Ahsoka's purpose a boost _for those who don't watch animation_ and representing Anakin's first step in fulfilling the prophecy.
I was betting that there wouldn't be a second season so I am glad to be potentially wrong as I do think it would be odd to announce these prequel novels but to then not do a sequel.
Disney should focus 100% on making season 2 of Andor, and making sure Vader is top quality, and forget everything else. They should wash their hands of The Acolyte and apologise to fans for it being so lousy and give a guarantee that nobody will mess with canon. IF they do all that they have a chance of winning ack the old fanbase.

It definitely does depend on how the Dawn of the Jedi movie is received!

🎉
Thought it was before phantom not acolyte
Nope! One is 20 years before acolyte and the other is leading up to it
Probably a Marvel comic series.
No sequel that's why they explain it in comics.😂
Do you really think this will save this show pimp.
They copied the old republic but none of it's cannon.
I'm here but won't get mentioned.
Please no more acolyte
please no more carlosafonso33
Disney never learns...
