- The always entertaining and unpredictable 16X Champ Funny Car Champion John Force joined Tony Pedregon & Dave Rieff during the rain delay on the live FS1 telecast of Friday's qualifying at the Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals in Denver. Topics included his crazy run in Topeka, Jeff Gordon racing again, and the excitement of being on the FOX National broadcasting network.
John Force is the reason NHRA is as big as it is. Never a dull interview, always speaks his mind, and wins races. That’s it, bottom line. Great for the sport and great for tv. When he’s gone, there’ll never be another!
He's NHRAs Darrell Waltrip
John Force is Dale Earnhardt of NHRA John Force's the man ♂️ l I agree with you 110% John Force is the reason NHRA is as big as it is guys like force guys like garlits ladies like Shirley mowdown
Missed him at Midwest nationals last year..can't wait to see him this weekend..the sport ain't the same without him!
I wish Mike Dunn ws still announcing
good to see them be friends again !!!
I know Tony wishes that he could take that day back when he lost one of the best friends he ever had.
Rick Davis they are still close friends. Force himself has said it "the fight with tony showed how competitive he is and thats the reason i am still his friend and would be the one i would put in my
seat if need to"
Forces schtick gets old. It's not the 90s anymore.
cschoen100 He’s one of... if not the greatest Funny Car racer there’s ever been & you make a comment like that ! You either know Jack-Shit about drag racing or your a just very sad negative person! Life’s short.. & Force will give all he’s got to the very end !
What are you doing with yours.. besides talkin shit
S t y l o 70 If you listened to his interview after winning Denver yesterday, you'd think it was 1996 still. I have no problem with Force and no doubt he's been great for the sport but he's manipulated the class for a long time and if you don't think so, you're wrong. There's been team orders in that camp for a long time. I've been around NHRA for a long time and have followed him since his Leo's Car Stereo days.
