I want a larger tank for my 2003 Suburban 1500 4x4 5.3l. I really want as big of a tank possible. I think the oem fuel tank that's in there now is 31 gallons. Any help or ideas?
No. Everything lead me to $4,600+ installs. The only realistic way to do it is to have a shop, the know how and to it yourself. Then maybe $1,500-$1,800. It's been 7 years and I have a different vehicle now so I couldn't tell ya where to get the tank but I'll bet there still available. Just google em.
Buy the new fancy flat ones with the rack to hold it should only put you back about $500 each You’ll be so much cooler and the babies will wanna sit on your face so much faster
What about all the high spots that are not vented to allow filling those areas? Physics says liquids won't displace the air without venting That means its not really the number of possible gallons If they do fill please explain how its done?
It helps present the illusion that it actually holds as many gallons as they say it does if the tank is wiggled and bounced turned upside down and rolled over you could probably get all those recesses filled with liquid. It might also help to convince the boss you need an $1800 gold plated gas tank
