I don't believe Ubisoft hates any faction, but if you were to try and convince that Ubisoft hates a faction, the vikings would be the only convincing answer XD
@@dragonbornexpress5650 No, no, he's got it right. Ubisoft hates their fans. Always demanding. Always wanting more more more. Make more. Make more. The fans are real slave drivers.
Raven knight, I must say I like the inclusion of the centurion going to the Viking lands. Because I can see this as a springboard to introduce a concept for a hero that is based on a warrior that often times is sorely under utilized. The Varangian guard. Viking mercenaries that were hired by the eastern Roman Empire to serve as bodyguards and elite shock troops for the Emperor. They were prized for their combat capabilities as well as the fact that they were very loyal. I could see them wearing not just shiny mail shirts, but also lamellar armor and full face helmets with mail or scale veils. All of it very richly decorated with gold and jewels heavily inspired by Byzantine aesthetics. I am not sure about arms, but I am thinking single handed Sabre or at least a single edge sword and that is it; would be in imitation of their teacher the centurion. The names will have a mixture of Scandinavian and Hellenic to show this.
@@dragonbornexpress5650The Bardiche was used in many places. France, the HRE, even the russians used it for their gunmen. The armor by itself might give viking vibes but thats about it. Hardly any greek whatsoever. Other than the knightset but thats fantasy greece
it can de made as a journey story like they did with gryphon. Imagine a really old viking, one who used to be a raider and fought in a shield wall, then he got into varangian guard and then retired and instead of going back scandinavia decided to meet his old days in Rus Druzhina. Weapon: axe + shield and we get our armor variation to tell the story, viking - varangian - druzhina
the Vikings could also pull from more Celts or Gauls. I feel like it's less that they don't know what to do with the Vikings and more that they are enamored with the other factions, and now that they've added the "whatever under the sun" faction, they're just pulling from whatever
@@NordicJarl27 shamin is a pict warrior but I agree they need to focus up more on the Vikings it’s clear they love the knights but cmon Vikings are deff under developed
My idea for a viking hero was a brawler. Someone with bulky gauntlets with claws/spikes. I pictured him as a wanderer who loots defeated enemies, so his armour sets would be a mix of various styles.
Do you know how awesome it would be to get a brawler type viking hero? But what category would they be placed under? I would vote for hybrid or assassin type.
Love the hero idea. However, story and lorewise I feel like it should also show another side to the Vikings. Like they were maritime explorers. They should utilize the new world with hero’s of the likes of Ocelotl. This open up so much more in content. The story would be about finding fertile land to settle only to be brutally driven away by indigenous tribes. This can reinforce Ocelotl’s lore as a result. This also heavily inspired by history as well. This is just a different narrative to the viking’s plundering and raiding clichés.
When it comes to new viking heroes, I thouht up 'the Druid' - with emphasis on the spirituality of the faction - maybe read some runes, saw some omens and joined the fight for one reason or another. In fight the druid wields staff in his main hand - his main striking weapon with a special thrust attack that pushes enemies back - and a sickle in his offhand - used to catch enemies' swings and counterattack, cutting into their bodies and causin some bleed. The staff would have faster chainable lights with less damage while the heavy attacks would be wider, slower swings. As for feats, some healing and support, kinda like Gryphons.
Your ideas have more sense and continuity than what ubi has been doing I agree that the vikings had more than just raid and pillage but coming up with newer stuff for them is a great ordeal that's why I believe giving them Slavic and gothic warriors would give more to work with Also this year's concept you made was amazing I'd love to see fenrir going up against jormungader
Raven, your ability to come up with story ideas for these For Honor seasons continues to amaze me. I especially love the idea of Jormungandr and Fenrir fighting each other. And your new hero concept really surprised me as well. When you asked me (and your other viewers) to come up with a new Viking hero, I immediately came up with names like the Kievan Rus, the Varangian Guards, or the Ulfhednar, but then these ideas kind of hit a brick wall in terms of how their movesets could be unique. So I was NOT expecting you to bring in guys based on a group affiliated with Ivan The Terrible. Considering your incredible talent, I actually would like to hear you come up with another Knights-focused year, but this time instead of the Crusades, it's centered around King Arthur and the Round Table Knights. I would really love to see you try your hand finding a way to bring King Arthur into the For Honor universe, because I think that could make for a really incredible year in the game due to how rich Arthurian Mythology is in its lore.
I think you’re onto something with the Fenris idea, but I think perhaps the idea for the new hero would’ve better used the idea of a pagan Anglo Saxon for a Beowulf idea. After all they share the same Germanic roots as the Norse in many ways, plus it’d lead to some cool ideas for armor like the Sutton Hoo helmet to be in the game
I’ve been saying this for ages if there was an anglo saxon base it something off beowulf give him helmets based off sutton hoo valsgärde or vendel makes, or base him off hengist and horsa and have him speak eald ænglisc/old english and for weapons give him axe and shield or seax
To help flesh out Viking faction. Use Danes, polish, russian, and any other countries close to them. Oh and for some events have them try to colonize different lands making peace but then they get betrayed leading to a great push from the Vikings. Also have the Vikings believe ragnarok already happen. Now you can have some more freedom with writing the Vikings. Look at conquest the last argument of kings and how they did the nords
In-game the Vikings kind of already DO believe Ragnarok has happened. The Jormungandr believe that Ragnarok happened, Thor and Jormungandr had their big final battle where they were supposed to kill each other, but by some miracle, Jormungandr SURVIVED his final fight with Thor. So they worshipped the World Serpent, believed themselves to be his offspring/descendants, and wanted to bring about a SECOND Ragnarok when they first debuted.
Hol up, Russian vikings are already a stretch with Rurik as is, but Poland? Really? Theyd make better Knights since they saw serbian and Hungarian cavalry and decided to make heavy Cavalry a thing long after the medieval ages
@@elseggs6504 Poland definitely doesn't make sense in the Viking faction, but Russia actually does. But they'd have to be the Kievian Rus. Those were the main Russian Vikings.
@@kevinnorwood8782 Even then, the Kievan Rus were merely ruled by Vikings and their descendants. Otherwise you might as well claim that Southern Italians are Vikings. Or Spaniards to be Arabs.
For the Vikings to get any new heros it would probably be best if they started reaching out to their neighbors like a Sámi hero or a Slavic hero, or even an Irish Na Fianna. Tbh I always thought that Horkos would try to awaken Fenrir literally just as a PR stunt. But the Idea I had for an actual Viking hero would be a Jormsviking, He would mostly be focused around stance combat similar to that of Medjay, using a one handed axe to focus on combos then being able to switch stance to pull a shield off their back which works more "defensively" focusing on shoving the enemy around. While not as defensive as warlord or conq, the Jormsviking will have an allguard that as an enemy hits their guard it would result in the Jormsviking doing a motion similar to a parry but would then bash their attacker in the face disorienting and stunning them. The weapons can be swapped out for whatever the devs feel like, whether it be a spear or a scythe like Raven suggested. A big selling point of the Jormsviking would be their armor, like Gryphon the Jormsviking has seen everything and been just about everywhere so naturally they would have armor sets reflecting this, from standard leather and furs of the Valkenheim clans to the shiny and pristine armor of a Varangian guard, each being recognizable as that culture's armor but remaining unquestionably Viking, unlike Gryphon's. If anyone has any criticisms then please say so, Ik this will likely NEVER get added to the game but it's fun to imagine these kinds of things if anything then to prove to Ubi that it isn't that fucking hard to come up with this stuff.
I was thinking of bringing the new world into this hypothetical year as the norse did reach canada and their are stories of them reaching South America, and I believe when the vikings sailed on mass from the cataylisum they sailed to and settled in the new world and then sailed back centuries later.
I think the main problem with many of the historical Viking weapons, aside from how few unique ones there are, the ones we are aware of like the Atgeir, höggspjót and kesja are vaguely described and no weapons matching their description have been found in graves (according to Wikipedia). The only real unique weapon of the Vikings is the Seax, specifically the longer sword variant. Problem with that is how do you make a unique playstyle? Do you make it dual wielding like the Berserk, Peacekeeper, Aramusha and Nuxia or do you give him a shield, essentially making him another Warlord? It’s all difficult
no the seax is not unique to Vikings lol, no weapon the Vikings used where unique to them apart from the Dane axe, which was invented by the Danes and later the Saxons who became more synonymous with it then the Danes themselves ever did.
@@jarlwilliam9932 Alright bud, take a chill pill. Even if I were to grant you the Viking’s seax was not unique to them, it’s one of the first weapons when you associate with the vikings.
@@ulfberht4431 No it’s not lol, it’s one of the first weapons I associate with the Saxons, you know the people who the knife is named after. When I think Vikings I think Dane Axe as the first weapon associated with them, ya know the axe actually named after them.
@@ulfberht4431 Lol you’re an idiot my dude, I am no boomer and I’m most certainly chill. What’s even funnier is that it’s not each to their own. The Saxons named the knife, where the ones most famous for using it, and not only named the knife but named their entire tribe after it as well.
My dream viking is one with armors from the other factions. Im not meaning full armor but a mix of the other armors. My idea is that these viking warriors are taking pieces of armors from the other factions warriors to improve their own armor. And maybe as trophies. The base is normal viking armor, but with knight/samurai or Wu-lin armor pieces on some places. Like the chest having a small piece of plate armor or one of the shoulders have a Samurai shoulder piece.
Ubi could do a rus' subfaction for the vikings and go into russian arms and armor. Or like the highlander go into some of the sub groups like normans and norse-gaels. Heck they could even do old Anglo-Saxon pagans and do a hero with the Sutton-Hoo helmet. For season story you could come up with a variety of things but one that sticks with me is the last viking Harald Yngling otherwise known as Harald Hardrade. They could add a season where the vikings conquer and rule a huge portion of knights territory and are eventually driven out and a later viking king comes to reclaim this land? They could do a story of the vikings slowly feudalizing and becoming more like the knights and samurai? Or maybe use archetypal soldiers from later Scandinavian nations? Maybe have Skraelings? The Indians the Vinland expedition saw?
Fenrir vs Jörmungandr... yay I am in.. also the new hero idea also opens the way for other warriors from eastern Europa... and you are right about finding weapons for new Viking heroes.. names are easy (Housecarl comes to mind just now).. I mean sure there is a bow or a Seax.. but that is just a knife...
Maaan can Ubisoft just hire you already, not only do you have great story ideas and a deep understanding of history, but you always have awesome ideas of entire years dedicated to a faction and how to connect it with the lore of the game plus history/mythology.
The Rus are a great addition to the Vikings, But there are also still people in the already existing regions that would be fitting, like the picts or the Celts. They could have a sword and shield, but given the smaller size shield a pict with his H-shaped shield and rounded top sword would be significantly smaller. Alternativly a celtic shield, which is long and thin could give him a dual wield move set, alongside a Gaesum Spear.

On the subject of armor, we do have findings of lamellar armour on the island of Gotland from the late Viking period so that could be a way to go, and I see other comments mention the Varangian Guard (and that opens up for Byzantine weapons and armour). So there are Some few ways to work with the Vikings, Ubisoft just gotta look for them. And on the direction front, go Dane Law route. Have them migrate? Though I do like your Reclaim idéa as well Otherwise excellent video.
I love the idea of the map with Fenrir and Jorm but I think it would be so cool to have the one who’s winning be determined by which team has the most points and is winning the match, making it as though the two battles are inseparably linked
I like raven’s ideas on how the year going to play out but I want to throw my hat in the ring in a new Viking hero concept but I’m focusing more on gameplay rather than lore since I’m not good at making a story Hero name: The Scavenger / reused assets hero Brief bio: This is a clan of vikings that are look down upon because they thought it be easier to steal from the dead rather than pillaging for their reward. These Vikings are survivalist specialists as they have learned ways to salvage from the remains of pillages and battles this will be reflected in their appearance and feats. Appearance: since they are scavengers their gear will be a fur coat with a hood that is the head of animal(changeable and can be taken off) and under that is a mix of gear from other vikings a bit un-creative but it all I got ok. They are very lean in stature as they more keen evading unnecessary fights. Type of hero: they will be an assassin ( yay no more reflex guard) and will be be class as anti-ganker / escapist Weapon: This idk maybe a sword which is light ( I need suggestions here) Combat movement: don’t have much here other than swift movements with barbaric twist like the others but I would like to see them have two options when they deflect, one keeping pressure and continuing the fight or disorienting the opponent to give a chance to runaway / give gank openings for teammates Feats 1: REAP WHAT HE SOWS- this passive feat will give you a temporary boost depending on the opponent feat levels. When the opponent has his first feat will give 10% movement increases, second adds on to that 10% defence buff, third adds shields and fourth adds (maybe too much) 20% attack increases. 2: DEATH ROW- This is a Wallhacks for yourself, see enemies that are lower than 50% health anywhere on the map maybe can be in certain radius but whatever but it can also boost the points to get the next feat like 2X multiplier so getting the next feat will be quick.(not good with naming things) 3 The “Fuck this shit I’m out”- once activated you can not be locked on but in turn you can’t locked on to your opponent or the feat will cancel and start its cool down timer I think 30 sec will be fine. You can still take damage from externals so you are not invincible. 4 It is a useable revenge same effects of revenge but without the shield and a lot weaker with its buffs but it will give a huge boost to the first feat doubling its effects (I think I want this last feat to change as it portrays more of a brawler than a scavenger ) What do you think is this to overpower which I think it might be and need some changes (I’m out of creative juices) I would love to see the community own ideas for changes and their own hero concept (Love your vids raven👍👍)
The issue with the historicity of Vikings has another difficulty. Namely, that the cultures and civilizations of the germanic tribes that the Vikings came from didn't disappear, they became knights. Things like the Black Prior and Warmonger have a distinctly Gothic/Germanic bent to them. So those two heroes are more closely related historically to vikings than Warden or Conqueror that were more like the French, who were the Gauls, Celts. This means that Warden is more closely related to Celts/Highlander than they are to the Germans/Black Prior/Warmonger. Maybe I got a bit sidetracked there, but the point being is that the Knights covering heroes from all over Europe means that it replaces Vikings just like what actually happened. Which does mean that the real issue is the need for the game to stick to the aesthetics of the Viking. Because if the Black Prior was a group of Vikings that learned some stuff from the knights, it would be closer to history, but they are clearly not aesthetically (or culturally) Vikings, because the Viking era was such a specific point in history, and the viking culture was replaced by Christianity.
An axe and shield is a solid concept imo and doesn’t actually double dip into warlord or valks gameplay enough to write him off. Give him a cloak and mail or gambleson (he gambles for armor lol) for his style. Vanguard or assassin movement and hp. His gimmick is hooking, nuxia traps or offensive moving like jorms hammer, and is actually historical. Could work in some faster combos by utilizing his shield like valk, again historical. Beefier combos are simply slower axe wind ups. An axe and shield was also the most common you’d find next to a spear shield combo in viking history so it’s baffling to not be in year one imo.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 yea… There’s some parts I loved and some I hated about the hero. I’m very conflicted but haven’t touched the game enough to form a real opinion on her or care.
You could have another Celtic style warrior that hails from the same subjugated region as the Highlander that uses a basket-hilted broadsword for another Viking hero.
I've had an idea for a new Viking hero. For the most part it is not historically accurate, but it is inspired by history as well as Norse mythology (of which I am knowledgeable if not an expert). The forest. In Ashfeld, a forest is a withered thing. What isn't cut down to fuel industry is diseased. In the Mire, a forest is a choked, stagnant, rotting heap of vegetation and insects. But in Valkenheim, the forest is alive... and angry. A twig cracks. A bough shakes. Footsteps. Running. Closer. You barely have time to feel the hot breath on the back of your neck before the jaws close. You have fallen victim to an Ulfhedinn, one of an all-male cult of wolf-warriors from the darkest depths of the woods. Years after Fenrir nearly split the world asunder and brought the curse of Lycanthropy to the land, those afflicted who still had good in their hearts, and were still loyal to the Allfather, fled into the woods so that they would not harm those dear to them. There they formed a tribe, so that they might live alongside the beast within. They fight with axe and short spear, and are known for pack tactics and a harassing, hunting style of combat. Gods help you if you meet one. If you meet many, even they cannot save you.
I personally think if actual history is running out of ideas they should lean into the fantasy of the game and use more from the mythology to inspire characters.
A long spear hero(no ideas here other than just the weapon), or a axe and shield hero that uses more axe grapling(similar to maybe nuxia) focused more on counter attacking, baiting, and shield bashing than warlord with his headbuts and crushing counters(I would distinctly give this character either a pseudo deflect kinda like conq or chain crushing counters as well as a full guard you can move in with maybe a unique interaction through a block or parry in the full block. Obviously I don't develop characters but theres still some flexibility. A sword and axe dual wielder, a bowtie axe user maybe with shield and one handed form and a two hand form. With armor, well they can start by actually adding viking armor into the fucking game and honestly reworking viking fashion as a whole because holy shit idk what the fuck they were thinking when they decided shirtless or murder hobo looking armor was going to be the primary look. Looking like something out of far cry primal like come the fuck on.
I think a neat idea to play into the admitted weaknesses of the Viking faction would be the Jomsviking. Called upon by the Viking faction and enticed by offered resources, the Jomsviking are brought in to train, unite, and improve the armor and weapons of the Viking faction. Wielding axe and shield, they’d be a versatile powerhouse and a nightmare if you let them close distance.
Hm…yeah that would make sense. If we were to expand the Vikings, we might as well include the Rus since they are Vikings who settled in what was then Russia. Interesting choice for using the Oprichniki/Oprichnina as the inspiration despite, well, the group not exactly having anything in common with the Vikings, but I get why you use them. I mean, it would be much harder to use the Streltsy seeing as Gryphon took their weapon. Also, were there no named Rus Viking groups?
Agreed you may as well include the Rus. By extension there were Rus Viking groups that ventured down the Volga into the Mediterranean later known as the Varangians. They caused so much havoc that the Emperor of Byzantium employed them as his personal bodyguard otherwise known as the Varangian Guard. However with Byzantium essentially being the Eastern Roman Empire I don’t know if that clashes with the Knight faction as they have the Centurion from the earlier iteration of the Roman Empire as a hero. Either way I could see pretty sweet Varangian or Rus Viking character adorned in fancier armour. Traditionally they used the two-handed, single edged Danish long axe which is a bit too similar to the Raider I guess but they had also weapons like swords, spears, and javelins. I think most interesting weapon that they used was the Roman pole arm weapon with a curved, scythe-like blade known as the rhomphaiai which hasn’t featured in the game yet and could make for some interesting combat dynamics hooking over shield etc!
@@willkirkman4028 you could do both a varangian as well as a local rus and even venture west again and do another celt and even a germanic tribal warrior there are a lot of things that would fit in great with the vikings

Vikings weren't just raiders. They were poets, merchants, and explorers of legend. I think a varengian inspired viking using a bardiche and decked with extravagant, viking inspired byzantian armor with mail and lamular plating would have been amazing (if stupid ass gryphon didn't exist) Then there's the Norman vikings that integrated into french nobility and were amongst the first true knights, using norman, center bossed kite shield and a hand axe or pike. That's not to say going further back and borrowing from more celtic or gaulic tradition. As for an explorer type viking.. uhhh, i dunno tbh but I'm sure we could think up something😅 Speaking of gryphon though; kindof unfair to say we can't reuse movesets in our concepts when gryphon is literally just a Frankenstein of other characters' movesets
Varangian style character, a viking with a atgeir, a slavic druhznik, large hexagonal germanic shield with spear, a rhomphaia or falx user are all great concepts for the vikings sure they are not strictly vikings but they fit in the most with this faction that i think is more representative of non christianized european warrior "barbarian" cultures. All of these absolutely fit in. The other biggest crime done to vikings is armor i have no idea who is in charge of making the vikings armors at ubi but they deserve to get fired a lot of them look like garbage glued to the character or the cheapest larp known to man.
I present to you the seer, has a seax and hand. His moveset isnt slashes or cuts its straight up stabbings. Grab attack similar to medjay where he just stabs you in the chest. His free hand can punch and a unique animation where he grabs the weapon in parry. His armor is just a simple tunic and rus style pants with a skull cap helmet. His story. He saw the gods come to him when a rouge jorm went on a rampage in his village. Many jorms are turning on everyone and going almost trance like insane and he joins to find out why.
A fun idea for a new Viking hero could be a Scottish warrior similar to highlander wielding a lochaber ax, the moveset could be a slower counter based moveset similar to law bringer, but more based around displacement and bashes than straight damage. They could even have a new stun mechanic where if they parry a light they get a short stun, think about the length of a warden heavy and if they parry a heavy they get a bash mix-up.
For armor he could wear a leather brigandine, with a Scottish mobility aesthetic. For lore it could be noble jarls from the highlands joining the battle.
i would have done a half werewolf hero for the knights we could have a lot of good armor desing from such idea but your twist wih fenrir is intreguing and endering so i like the idea a lot keep the great work
I would actuely go with the relligion route. Having part of the vikings turning from pagan's to something else, causing in fighting for season 1. In seasin 2 we see one side turning to horkos while the other turns to cimaira revaling a new hero inside of chimera that uses a francheska axe, massive center grip shield and very fansy looking armor far fancyer then most vikings based on the franks. Here is the kicker though the morely questanable side chooses cimaira and the "good" side choose horkos only this get's revaled in season 3. The dark side inside of cimaira turns chimera dark causing horkos to be the good guy's for once and during the fight against chimera a new viking hero reveal it's self using a long 2 handed boar spear based on simple hunters of the north.
A Beowulf inspired hero could be a nice idea. Or a season which involves the invasion of an undead warriors aboard the Naglfar, one of the generals can be a hero skin, and the new viking hero can be the one to step in and save Heathmore. Ubisoft is no stranger to mythological approach lately and making everything too realistic is kinda boring.
"They needed-" and i got a warhammer 40k advert. So yeah i agree, space wolves will cometh forward and bring the might of the Emperors crusade down to the heretics
Well you asked about a unique weapon for a viking, and since we were on a subject of Ragnarök, why not give a Fenrir type of hero. Imagine this, since Fenrir is very often shown as a gigantic would cover in chains how about a Hero which would be similar to the Raider posture, but wearing some wolf pelts held by the chains tightly to their body, as well as chains around their whole arms. And as a weapon they would use a heavy spiked ball or a hook on that chain. A kind of unconventional weapon, I know, but definitely something a Viking could use. Especially if we talk about heroes that might be based on their mythology. Yeah, I guess some people might be upset that a character like that would most certainly be gender locked to be a male, tho yeah, I can't imagine a weapon like that be used by a female. If you feel like it feel free to tell me what you think about such an idea Raven.
I6:47 Dacian Falxman with a fast, nippy and agile style of fighting with quick cuts and little snipes at arms, legs and arm, but combined with heavy, devastating strikes which commonly has unblock-ables and un-dodgebles owing to the inward curve of the blade allowing for armour piercing and attacks that sneak around the guard of a foe. Think Gladiator mixed with a little Nobushi. With scale and chainmail armour with awesome helmets. Basically I propose turning the Vikings into a ‘Barbarians’ faction.
@RavenKnight I want them to make a Druid viking that wields a shillelagh (irish fighting stick) he would utilize the two form of Bataireacht that still survive today Doyle and Antrim. make the theme of celtic vikings be stance characters but unlike highlander he starts in offensive (Antrim) and switches to defensive (Doyle). Maybe add some backstory that like the druids are trying to return everything to nature and start another cataclysm or something. To be honest i just want more celtic rep lol.
@@googlommolgoog2313 A shillelagh actually would be a great weapon! Could be a hybrid of sorts, fighting in different stances and could be a mix of Highlander and Shaolin!
I already thought about a viking hero wielding a stuff! I even invented some moves, but I thought about a real passive hero since the last outlander heroes are pretty aggressive. I would give him a simple two hit chain, chain heavy has hyperarmour and can be timed like shugokis heavys but without unblockable. He has an opener bash and a chain bash after light with following light. He has a strong counter similar to old lb in storymode, where he can interrupt the enemy chain with a hyperarmour bash after just blocking a hit and it steals a great amount of the enemys stamina but it does no damage and does not lead into chains. Also the bash is slow enough so that the enemy can dodge away after throwing a light, but instead of the bash he can throw a very fast hyperarmour heavy that catches simple dodges. It would slow down spammers, force them to think about what theire doing but his counters are not as safe as a bash undodgeable mixups so hed not be too strong as I think.
A Jomsviking could be given a spear, no shield. Idk what moves to give them. Chainmail and the more historical look for vikings. A hero for them being Thorkell the Tall as a skin for the hero or a Berserker skin of we go off of Vinland Saga. With that some Constantanople Vikings wouls be interesting to explore their relationship with other cultures as mercenaries and explorers
New Viking Hero: Viking in Chainmail (variations add fur, gambison layers, etc.), The new weapon is a Warpick/ Goedendag Story is Vikings need more resources (as they do) a group of viking rallies a warband against Astrea as his plan and hers is mutually exclusive. The vikings try to establish trade routes futher east and maybe if you don't like the hero I suggested they could just use Russian Cossack or some other Russian medieval soldier.
I paused the video for 15 minutes when you said design a viking charecter with unique weapons and style and you were right can't for the life of me think of anything hammer and sheild nope that would end up similar to what we have. Polearm viking would end up too close to Gryphon. The only things I could think of were weapons from stories that there arnt evidence of being real.
The game's nature requiring a unique weapon and fighting style for each hero and those heroes being part of a faction is such a limiting factor as we already know. If I were Ubisoft, I'd do either of the following in the 1st place so that I won't have that hard of a time in the long run: 1. Remove the factions thing and just add random heroes based on whatever inspiration. 2. Replace the Vikings with the Indians, afterall they have a lot of exotic weapons to choose from. For Honor won't be the same if either of these happen, but the Vikings won't be stuck in the hole they're in now, and different problems would arise, but those are what I'd do if I was Ubisoft when they were still planning this whole thing.
I would prefer a hero who fights with a staff and a sickle and has two combat modes similar to Medjey, in one in which he uses the staff defensively like a shield and in the other mode he puts the sickle on the staff and then uses it like a war scythe.
I can give you 2 Seasons. Raiders of Valkenheim and Helheim Opened. RoV releasing a Warlord hero skin while Helheim Opened can release a 2 Handed Spear Wielding Hero based around Odin or a Highlander Skin based on Heimdall, either way the goal is a hoard mode holdout to shut the doors of Helheim. I can also visualize the idea of the game’s first Multi Weapon Hero. The Asgardian, proficient with many weapons such as Sword, Axe, Spear, and shield. Often seen as heralds of odin who feast in their mountain hall, only coming down to advise the clans and mediate dealings. With Horkos out and about, they have begun to speak of a great calamity, The Doors of Helheim are soon to burst open and drown the land in blood and death, unleashing a brutal winter that would freeze even the mire completely. So they have opened their doors to Chimera and those willing to fight back the coming disaster. Even Horkos is welcome to aid as they too stand to lose everything if the doors are flung open.
Might be a lil biased here, but they could do an ancient german? generally part of the same culture group (yk, germanic) Aesthetically maybe something conan styled lol
Raven the vikings do have a weapon that technically is and isn't used in game that has a use that can replace the scythe. The atgier. It technically translates as halberd but it looks more like a glaive while still being axe like in it's ascetics.
Only problem is that's not what it looked like, no one knows what it looks like since the sagas rarely describe it as anything more than a simple spear and there is no existing pieces either, the "atgier" you know is just a modern take on it and heavily resembles gryphon's bardiche which already lessens it's chance of coming to the game greatly.
Borrowing from your idea, the new viking hero could be one of the children of fenrir. A hunched and feral assassin class warrior with a small shield attached to his right arm and wolverine claws in both hands (kinda like Berserkers from battle realms).
How about smth like this; A hero based on Tyr, the Viking god of war. These would be warriors who fight weaeing pelts of boars to honor their patron diety and with only one srm as Tyr famously lost his to Fenrir. They carry a sword in one hand and a length of rope, or silk in the other which they use to bind and trip their enemy kind of like how a type of Gladiator fought with nets. They are however, unlike the recent savage tribes of the Shaman and Jormungandr, a calm methodical people who are called down to aid the Vikings in their time of direst need
14:55 I mean I’d love a new map but if it’s a permanent map I want it to be normal personally. I would love an open field map though and maybe we could see some land slides and stuff. No giant monsters though.
al right Raven challenge accepted, ill make a unique new Viking hero. the hero will be using a type of long bladed two handed winged cutting spear (its a real ting I just cant remember what it is called) the heavy's are powerful thrusting attacks and the lights are draw cuts an small chops if a heavy hits, the hero can make a do a light make a draw cut out of the stab, appalling bleed (like pk and nubosi) he can flow in to a stands where he dos not have a but all his light have crushing counter and appals bleed (if its a successful crushing counter) and the heavy's gain more reach and be soft feinted into a bash where the hero use the wings of the spear to displads the opponent weapon and do a quick jab or cut am not the best at designing heroes and I haven't played for honor in like... a year so I have no idea what type of hero the games needs. so yeah its not a lot, but hey its something and sorry in any of my English was bad. im from Denmark and I don't text that much in English
The crazy reworks and buff every single vikings got over the course of the last two years is enough to say that they care about this faction. With HL rework the viking is the most consistently powerful faction now, there will be no black sheep anymore. The only thing they miss is a hero that can recover to fullguard for days and undodgeable people to death ala kyoshin, and they will be the most versatile faction. This is my favorite faction because every single hero is unique and powerful and you really can switch to your daily taste, in addition to having all good feats to play around.
It's for the reasons you listed that make me doubt the next viking will use axe and shield despite the community's wishes because the vikings in this game are insane and over the top and i know the devs are bringing something crazy and scythe is the right kind of crazy.
I think the Vikings could be diversified by perhaps leaning into their allies on the Highlanders especially as other Gaelic inspired units could be really nice
Am I the only person who wants a dagger hero, a Scythe hero, and a rapier hero? The danger hero being an assassin class and would be in either Wui Lin or samurai faction. (Its not traditional yes I know ) The hero would be more of more offensively based. Their parry animation would be like Pk’s crossing the daggers to form a V. It also can have an different stance as they could (in theory) flip the daggers in a forward grip for a charging rush kinda like our “favorite samurai character “. If you’ve watch Vinland saga before I’d like it to almost have that sort of attack or moves like Thorfinn fights. (Let me know what y’all think) The rapier hero is a female character. It’s main focus is cutting and thrusting. Now this hero already sounds like light spammer so here me out. The cuts will obviously be lights but here’s the interesting part. Instead of a slash we use a thrust for a heavy attack. Think about it? We give Valks light animation to her. Or if that a bad idea go with the slashing and make the thrusting either a second or third light hit combo with maybe a bleed affect? This character would be a Knight class. (Let me know what you think btw) I know that Scythes weren’t really used in battle in fact I believe they were farming tools. But you got to think about it. The idea of a scythe character sounds cool. They obviously give black pior a run for their money when it comes to edge lord of for honor. As we all now the scythe is usually connected to that of the grim reaper. However this hero is probably never going to happen. What makes this so hard for me to even think it would happen is the animation themselves? Like what would the parry animation look like? Maybe have it hit on the shaft of the blade but even that is questionable. Idk let me know what you guys think I do have more ideas like a bow and arrow hero. And even with that don’t say it isn’t impossible. We already have a hero with a gun. A bow and arrow is possible.
well they can definitely pull from the Cossacks to add to the faction, if a roman gladiator and centurion are knights then pagan tribes that bordered and migrated to russia and finland definitely seem like a reasonable progression. knights have a hero that appears at face value to be from the middle east or at the very least is from eastern greece or turkey factions aren’t hardcore tied to the initial inspiration region of the world for characters
I know it’s 7 months later but we could still get a seax or atgir user even an axehammer would be cool. As for armor they could go for a theign or jarl they can have mail or scale even eastern armor as for a story bit like vinland saga a group of Vikings going to escape heathmoor to go find a prosperous land and we can get a Native American warrior which could be great because they had armor and bronze tools in some areas in the states just a season idea after all vela and the Aztec why not a Leif eriksson and a Native American right? I predict we’ll get this eventually down the road.
I’m genuinely surprised that you haven’t thought about a “gryphon” Viking that with some shame and out of desperation flat out adopts and copies other fractions fighting styles and armor. It could be the daughters of Highlander’s and warlords that due to their births as female cannot take their fathers station so they train in both their fathers martial arts and other factions to make their own clans with themselves as jarl. They use a spiked Targe derived from the highlanders and a war pick or morning star from the knights,wu Lin and outlanders they come into conflict with.they even incorporate feats like flat Lux and qui trap to make them truly learned about other factions. I came up with this example on a lunch break at work.
On the whole I 100% agree with everything you say, but I disagree with naming the year of the Vikings Ragnarok. Vikings have become far too involved with their own religion, with people seemingly being unable to separate myth from fact. I would argue the Year be named something with a historical precedent, something like The Great Heathen Army or Year of the Northmen. And the vikings were not the only raiders during the Early Medieval period. They could diversify into an Anglo-Saxon hero which had heavy contact with the vikings, they could do a Slavic hero and explore armour motifs from those cultures. Of course, the Varangian guard serve as a major missed opportunity for Ubisoft. Its not like the ideas aren’t there, you just need to look harder to find them
Armored viking. Wears heavy armor. They can still plunder can't they? Take it from the enemy. Have the vikings start to evolve into something bigger. Keep the vicious rage, the blind charge attacks. Have them "tech up" a bit. A bit like Uruk Hai in Lord of the Rings. Work in some armored warriors. The intimidating look.
The weapons aren't that hard tbh, mix some we already have, a bearded-axe with shield focusing on grabs with said axe would be different. A bare-knuckle viking called Ulfhardnar wearing wolf and/or bear pelts. A heavy norman shield with a spear, like a mix between valk and prior called Varangian using heavy Swedish armor.
A unique hero for the vikings would be one based of the Dacian Tribes that fought Rome. They’d have plenty of unique armour and a unique weapon, a dacian falx aka a curved sword can be two handed or dual wielded. Moveset could focus on hooking an enemy and swinging them into a wall, making a bleed affect from the falx tearing flesh etc. Gives plenty of unique armour just google dacians and there’s lots to draw from, the falx is still a relatively unique weapon but you’d have to try and make it not just highlander copy and paste
I don't believe Ubisoft hates any faction, but if you were to try and convince that Ubisoft hates a faction, the vikings would be the only convincing answer XD
Ubisoft does have a faction though, the one known as "the fans".
@@samos343guiltysparkThis is what we call lying.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 No, no, he's got it right. Ubisoft hates their fans. Always demanding. Always wanting more more more. Make more. Make more. The fans are real slave drivers.
When I hear the name Harald I can’t imagine anyone but my dad so to me the hero skin is a bald dude with a goatee
Gryphon is already based on Varangian Guard; He even wields a Bardiche.
Edit: Wow, it's funny how poorly this aged.
This comment aged rather well.
@Nephrasis I was about to comment this exact comment.
the fact the start of your idea is basically whats happening now
the Vikings could also pull from more Celts or Gauls. I feel like it's less that they don't know what to do with the Vikings and more that they are enamored with the other factions, and now that they've added the "whatever under the sun" faction, they're just pulling from whatever
Thats actually a good idea. Like a pict warrior maybe? Or some germanic like hero. Or a pre Christian Anglo-Saxon hero
@@NordicJarl27 shamin is a pict warrior but I agree they need to focus up more on the Vikings it’s clear they love the knights but cmon Vikings are deff under developed
"ubi hates vikings" mfs when most viking heroes are A or S tier
My idea for a viking hero was a brawler. Someone with bulky gauntlets with claws/spikes. I pictured him as a wanderer who loots defeated enemies, so his armour sets would be a mix of various styles.
Do you know how awesome it would be to get a brawler type viking hero? But what category would they be placed under?
I would vote for hybrid or assassin type.
Yeah that or a more realistic hammer welder like longer pole, smaller head
Your ideas have more sense and continuity than what ubi has been doing I agree that the vikings had more than just raid and pillage but coming up with newer stuff for them is a great ordeal that's why I believe giving them Slavic and gothic warriors would give more to work with
Also this year's concept you made was amazing I'd love to see fenrir going up against jormungader
Welp, 2 months later, the vikings are finally getting a new character
Bro saw the future on that highlander hero skin prediction
Bro rolled a 20
I think you’re onto something with the Fenris idea, but I think perhaps the idea for the new hero would’ve better used the idea of a pagan Anglo Saxon for a Beowulf idea. After all they share the same Germanic roots as the Norse in many ways, plus it’d lead to some cool ideas for armor like the Sutton Hoo helmet to be in the game
true true, Beowulf character would be sick as fuck.
I was thinking of bringing the new world into this hypothetical year as the norse did reach canada and their are stories of them reaching South America,
and I believe when the vikings sailed on mass from the cataylisum they sailed to and settled in the new world and then sailed back centuries later.
Really really cool hero idea. Can only hope that it doesn’t let me down too bad for the Viking we will be getting.
@@jarlwilliam9932
Alright bud, take a chill pill.
@@jarlwilliam9932

And again, take a chill pill boomer! You obviously need medical attention.
Always love hearing Raven give way more thought to For Honor lore and world than the devs ever will
you have no idea how much i love the idea of the year you made
Ubi could do a rus' subfaction for the vikings and go into russian arms and armor. Or like the highlander go into some of the sub groups like normans and norse-gaels. Heck they could even do old Anglo-Saxon pagans and do a hero with the Sutton-Hoo helmet. For season story you could come up with a variety of things but one that sticks with me is the last viking Harald Yngling otherwise known as
Harald Hardrade.
A fist fighter betrayed by chimera left to die in stadiums of horkos maybe
Highlander are the cleats/Picts.
My Viking hero idea
(Gender changable)
Weapon: long Dagger (right hand) and sickle (left hand)
Class: hybrid
Armor: chain mail arms with hard leather gloves and pauldrons/shoulder pads, large leather boots, fur pants, hard leather chest peice with chain male and waist cape on the right side, wolf head hood
Aspects/skills: Aramusha style all guard but itstead of opening for a follow up its like nukias fakeout ability, if they attack its a automatic counter where you toss them to the ground with your sickle, shaman stye deflect where you slide under the swing them stab them in the kidney with your dagger proking bleed (one of 2 bleed moves)
Unblockables: unblockable follow up sickle heavy after two lights, unblockable heavy after a light dodge attack where you slice them at the throat (tossing them back a bit out of distance, can be used for wall splats)
Undodgable: rush heavy/plunge or lunge attack; similar to shamans bite you rush forward pounce on them and stab them in the neck proking bleed, can be parried or bulwarked to counter
Unique feat 1: Pack Leader; call three wolves to gank an opponent (they cause bleed but can be killed easily by just parring, like the wolves in the campaign) (20 second cooldown)
Unique feat 2: Cry of War; debuffs nearby opponents (takes more damage) and buffs allies (does more damage) for 15 seconds or till death (10 second cooldown)
Unique feat 3: Lord of All; drain no stamina and do more damage for 10 seconds (15 second cooldown)
Unique feat 4: Ragnarok; Gives all allies attack buff and speed buff but takes more damage for 15 seconds (20 second cooldown)
Generic feats: self revive, bounty hunter, etc
Unique perks: Vengeful barrier, Last stand, Crush them, rapid refresh
FH Lore: The war has plunged into their lands, destroying many of their homes and so they had to step in, not fighting for chimera or horkos they made their own stand, taking a vow to kill all who aided the wars growth, their leader (potential hero skin) similar mindset to Apollyon saw the warriors as wolves and sheep, but unlike Apollyon he viewed wolves and sheep different, the Wolves being those who fight because they must, to ensure they can live, those who choose of their own choice are wolves, while the followers of horkos and chimera are sheep and his goal is to cut the leashes of his pack by cutting open the gullets of their masters
Season title: Unleashed
Executions time
Cabob: stabs dagger into head then decapitates with sickle
Ritualistic Rights: horizontally cuts gut open with sickle, verticle cut down the spine with dagger, slices throat from behind with both weapons
Unwanted Violence: gut cut with sickle point, back stab with dagger, face chop with sickle blade (no decapitation)
Freedom cry: sicke cut to the face, dagger cut to the knee, cross slice to the throat, kick to the ground
Bad News: tosses sickle into shoulder before doing a spin stab to the chest with the dagger and ripping the sickle out
Far lands: kicks them away then fills them with arrows using a crossbow then tosses it to the ground
Silence: punches gut, punches jaw knocking them to their knees, then finishes off by breaking their neck
Emotes
Anti-Social: flips you off and tells you to go away
Silent greaving: stares at the ground unmovingly
Ring around: spins sickle on dagger at catches it in hand when it falls off
No Luck: staring at you with arms crossed as arrows surround him on the ground
Signature: Shadow; stares at you before disappearing when a gust of leaves blows infront of him
On the subject of armor, we do have findings of lamellar armour on the island of Gotland from the late Viking period so that could be a way to go, and I see other comments mention the Varangian Guard (and that opens up for Byzantine weapons and armour). So there are Some few ways to work with the Vikings, Ubisoft just gotta look for them.
And on the direction front, go Dane Law route. Have them migrate? Though I do like your Reclaim idéa as well
Otherwise excellent video.
Gryphon is already based on the Varangian Guard; However, I do like the idea of using more Byzantine influence.
I love the idea of the map with Fenrir and Jorm but I think it would be so cool to have the one who’s winning be determined by which team has the most points and is winning the match, making it as though the two battles are inseparably linked
I like raven’s ideas on how the year going to play out but I want to throw my hat in the ring in a new Viking hero concept but I’m focusing more on gameplay rather than lore since I’m not good at making a story
Hero name: The Scavenger / reused assets hero
Brief bio: This is a clan of vikings that are look down upon because they thought it be easier to steal from the dead rather than pillaging for their reward.
Type of hero: they will be an assassin ( yay no more reflex guard) and will be be class as anti-ganker / escapist
Weapon: This idk maybe a sword which is light ( I need suggestions here)
Combat movement: don’t have much here other than swift movements with barbaric twist like the others but I would like to see them have two options when they deflect, one keeping pressure and continuing the fight or disorienting the opponent to give a chance to runaway / give gank openings for teammates
Feats
1: REAP WHAT HE SOWS- this passive feat will give you a temporary boost depending on the opponent feat levels. When the opponent has his first feat will give 10% movement increases, second adds on to that 10% defence buff, third adds shields and fourth adds (maybe too much) 20% attack increases.
2: DEATH ROW- This is a Wallhacks for yourself, see enemies that are lower than 50% health anywhere on the map maybe can be in certain radius but whatever but it can also boost the points to get the next feat like 2X multiplier so getting the next feat will be quick.(not good with naming things)
3 The “Fuck this shit I’m out”- once activated you can not be locked on but in turn you can’t locked on to your opponent or the feat will cancel and start its cool down timer I think 30 sec will be fine. You can still take damage from externals so you are not invincible.
4 It is a useable revenge same effects of revenge but without the shield and a lot weaker with its buffs but it will give a huge boost to the first feat doubling its effects (I think I want this last feat to change as it portrays more of a brawler than a scavenger )
What do you think is this to overpower which I think it might be and need some changes (I’m out of creative juices)
I would love to see the community own ideas for changes and their own hero concept
(Love your vids raven👍👍)
It's amazing how this comment aged so well and yet so poorly at the same time.
You need to get with Ubisoft cause these are ideas are definitely a step up from the reused ideas we’ve seen before.
Just add fucking Tyr 😂 a straight up spear wielding war general who just bitch slaps people with a grab attack
Well russia sees the keiv rus as the reason they exist and is named after them
could easily have kievan rus Druznik
@@erikaitsumi7198 it can de made as a journey story like they did with gryphon. Imagine a really old viking, one who used to be a raider and fought in a shield wall, then he got into varangian guard and then retired and instead of going back scandinavia decided to meet his old days in Rus Druzhina.
Weapon: axe + shield and we get our armor variation to tell the stroy, viking - varangian - druzhina
As for an explorer type viking.. uhhh, i dunno tbh but I'm sure we could think up something😅
Speaking of gryphon though; kindof unfair to say we can't reuse movesets in our concepts when gryphon is literally just a Frankenstein of other characters' movesets
This aged like fine, damn fine wine
@@FLEXJR69 it's only a month old, what did i miss? lol
@@FLEXJR69 bruh, i'm so fuckin hyped lol
Varangian style character, a viking with a atgeir, a slavic druhznik, large hexagonal germanic shield with spear, a rhomphaia or falx user are all great concepts for the vikings sure they are not strictly vikings but they fit in the most with this faction that i think is more representative of non christianized european warrior "barbarian" cultures. All of these absolutely fit in. The other biggest crime done to vikings is armor i have no idea who is in charge of making the vikings armors at ubi but they deserve to get fired a lot of them look like garbage glued to the character or the cheapest larp known to man.
For viking vanguard, either it's a jomviking soldier called rekkr or drengr, or perhaps based on grendel to counter raiders beowulf called Orcneas
For weapons lochaber ax, long bearded ax, atgeir, or stereotypical double headed ax.
I think a cool hero would be a brawler who weilds guantlets. I don't really know a whole lot about Vikings but I think it would be pretty cool.
Let's just slowly begin pinging Ubisoft to this man's ideas, like come on. This is brilliant.
i would have done a half werewolf hero for the knights we could have a lot of good armor desing from such idea but your twist wih fenrir is intreguing and endering so i like the idea a lot keep the great work
I would actuely go with the relligion route.
One thing you could go for is expand what they use as inspiration. The Kieven Rus would be pretty good. Varangian style character maybe?
Just a quick thing also, shillelaghs have been used for a very long time so it would fit the lore imo
Raven you make me want to play Vikings more often
A Jomsviking could be given a spear, no shield. Idk what moves to give them. Chainmail and the more historical look for vikings. A hero for them being Thorkell the Tall as a skin for the hero or a Berserker skin of we go off of Vinland Saga. With that some Constantanople Vikings wouls be interesting to explore their relationship with other cultures as mercenaries and explorers
Man, I wish you worked for ubi
New Viking Hero: Viking in Chainmail (variations add fur, gambison layers, etc.), The new weapon is a Warpick/ Goedendag Story is Vikings need more resources (as they do) a group of viking rallies a warband against Astrea as his plan and hers is mutually exclusive. The vikings try to establish trade routes futher east and maybe if you don't like the hero I suggested they could just use Russian Cossack or some other Russian medieval soldier.
This man needs to be hired for lore in for honor like he can cook a lot better then the people currently there 💀
Ubisoft pls take some ideas from this this is amzing and I would be happy if they did all this exactly
This didn't age so well. Cannot blame ya.
I think a bare knuckle Viking would be cool. Just a brutal bare knuckle Viking that has a block animation like Shaolin
The game's nature requiring a unique weapon and fighting style for each hero and those heroes being part of a faction is such a limiting factor as we already know. If I were Ubisoft, I'd do either of the following in the 1st place so that I won't have that hard of a time in the long run:
Ubisoft has cared the least about the Vikings and cared the most about the Samurai and Wu Lin when it comes to culture and armor.
Sickle ,Scythe or a Bare handed style with gauntlets. Could be viking weapons. Which could be the new one this year.
They honestly should release monster hero’s like a vampire, werewolf, demon and stuff like that
14:55 I mean I’d love a new map but if it’s a permanent map I want it to be normal personally. I would love an open field map though and maybe we could see some land slides and stuff. No giant monsters though.
al right Raven challenge accepted, ill make a unique new Viking hero.
the hero will be using a type of long bladed two handed winged cutting spear (its a real ting I just cant remember what it is called)
the heavy's are powerful thrusting attacks and the lights are draw cuts an small chops
if a heavy hits, the hero can make a do a light make a draw cut out of the stab, appalling bleed (like pk and nubosi)
he can flow in to a stands where he dos not have a but all his light have crushing counter and appals bleed (if its a successful crushing counter) and the heavy's gain more reach and be soft feinted into a bash where the hero use the wings of the spear to displads the opponent weapon and do a quick jab or cut
am not the best at designing heroes and I haven't played for honor in like... a year so I have no idea what type of hero the games needs. so yeah its not a lot, but hey its something
and sorry in any of my English was bad. im from Denmark and I don't text that much in English
Look I may have a Viking emblem border but I'm a knight player at heart, I just like having my free scavenger crates.
Well, the crazy happened and they listened to the community 😅
I think the Vikings could be diversified by perhaps leaning into their allies on the Highlanders especially as other Gaelic inspired units could be really nice
not just Gaelic but maybe even Celtics as a whole. The Gauls welsh etc.
(Let me know what y’all think)
The rapier hero is a female character. (Let me know what you think btw)
I know that Scythes weren’t really used in battle in fact I believe they were farming tools.
I like the addition of Fenrir.
well they can definitely pull from the Cossacks to add to the faction, if a roman gladiator and centurion are knights then pagan tribes that bordered and migrated to russia and finland definitely seem like a reasonable progression. knights have a hero that appears at face value to be from the middle east or at the very least is from eastern greece or turkey factions aren’t hardcore tied to the initial inspiration region of the world for characters
Great video SKALD🍻
I know it’s 7 months later but we could still get a seax or atgir user even an axehammer would be cool. As for armor they could go for a theign or jarl they can have mail or scale even eastern armor as for a story bit like vinland saga a group of Vikings going to escape heathmoor to go find a prosperous land and we can get a Native American warrior which could be great because they had armor and bronze tools in some areas in the states just a season idea after all vela and the Aztec why not a Leif eriksson and a Native American right? I predict we’ll get this eventually down the road.
Ubisoft doesn't care for the vikings . . .
*Laughs in Wu Lin
A year of exploration by the vikings that led to bringing in the native American tribes as a playable group
Its not like the ideas aren’t there, you just need to look harder to find them
Hear me out…. A hero that attack with a wolf. It would be so cool to have a doggo trainer hero
Although i think the lycanthrope thing is a bit to far but other than that i love the idea
Great vid as usual Raven! Also, can anyone tell me what the songs he played in the background of video were? I quite liked them.
Can someone please tell me the music in the background?
My Mother Told Me
Armored viking.
Bro just did Ubisoft's job for them. I would play the hell out of this event!
Maybe use another tribal culture that has a unique weapon like the thracian long curved swords
It would be a cold day in hell when they add the varangian guard for the vikings
Gryphon already takes heavy inspiration from the Varangian Guard.
Edit: Now we BOTH look foolish.
Who does ideas better:
A company with potentially a dozen writers, hundreds of employees and millions of dollars.
Or two Raven Brothers.
Don't we already have the Nuxia wielding proper Hook Swords, though?
