I must say I have been hesitant to try it, but Bree and Jeff and yourself have successful businesses, so I might have to give it a try. I have contemplated it because it does seem more cost-effective and efficient, plus you still test normally once you find a contender. Ultimately, I guess I better get on this train too lol@couturehomeandbody
My daughter in law, left a candle burning after she got ready for work, and I was watching the children. I heard the smoke alarm going off much later, and Checkd out the entire apartment. Found the candle on fire on her dresser. I put out the fire, and told her when she returned home from work, to never leave a burning candle. We were lucky the alarm sounded before the glass vessel broke, and the flaming wax ran out onto the dresser. It was definately hot enough to break at any moment.
Holy moly. I’m glad everyone was ok. This is why candle testing is so important for us makers. Tracking vessel temp throughout the candle burn test process is crucial. Thank you for sharing your story!
I tried it out on one of my scents in the last testing I did (forgot to tell you!). Was inspired by Bree but had been nervous to try it but it worked out perfectly! Also, the new hotness ❣
Hello love! You know I used to do wickless testing but I had issues with drifting wicks as the candle melted down
as the candle melted down i stopped lighting it and put it on my wax melter! that will def happen but if the wick worked then you're good to go.
The new hotness, I love it!
Are you going to give it a try?
