Ive been using Soy 10 since April and i love it.I was lucky to get 3 55 pound boxes from a lady who was moving from Colorado to Florida & she needed them gone fast! So she sold them to me for 100.00 for the 3 55 pound cases.I was blessed but its running low😢and its sold out everywhere I check.Thank you for your reviews😊
Omgosh that is a honey of a deal!!! It should be back in stock by end of January. I guess they had an issue with their boiler so it has pushed production back. Want wick series are you using?
Thank you for this! I’ve been testing soy 10 (long time 464 user) and I couldn’t get an amazing HT. After watching this video, I learned I’m way under wicked. Threw a larger wick in and my first tester is already SO much better!
@@abeecruz oh interesting. what types of fragrances sway the CD vs CDN and vice versa? i always have to wick up for heavy cinnamon, citrus, peppermint, and smoky type fragrances. thank you for sharing!
You're about to have me switching up my whole life over this review! 🤣 I am totally one of those people who wants the strongest throw i can find. Im so tired of trying to tweak 6006 to make it work.
🤣🤣🤣 give it a shot! We’re heading into the slow season and it’s the perfect time. Yeah I don’t want to have to work so hard to make something work. It takes away some of the joy from making!
@couturehomeandbody everyone is out of it right now. Something about they're rebranding. Ill give it a try when they restock if they don't change the formula.
Thank you, Brandy! Omgosh for sure! Different strokes for different folks. I enjoy all of the coconut wax candles I buy from other small businesses. What wicks did you find were the most successful when you used soy 10?
@ I honestly only tested for a short time and compared to the coconut wax I’m using. I decided coconut. I used eco wicks but I’ve know others really like the cdn wicks for this wax. I do think soy 10 is an amazing soy wax.
Soy10 is my ride or die! Haven't tried wood wicks, yet, but would love to hear others experiences. I add 3% beeswax and use either 2 ECO1's or 2 CDN2's depending on the FO. Get my wicks from BTB! Would be lovely if he would carry Soy10 too...would be a one-stop-shop, for me! Does anyone know if he offers pickup? I am located in Des Moines IA and have been driving to Omaha for my Soy10 and have been getting my Wicks from him and most of my FO's from Midwest and Candle Science.
Oh shooooot we got a blender! Wade doesn’t officially have a local pickup though if you are in the area, he can arrange it with you. It’s a strong maybe on him carrying wax 😉 Send an email through the BTB website to arrange!
Too bad Accublend is re-branding and everyone panic bought all the Soy 10 everywhere. Accublend rep said they won't have it back in stock until earliest end of January. Thank god I finished my Holiday orders before it ran out. Sucks though. Now Accublend is going to be called Clean Science 😡 I guess I will have to pause for a month and a half minimum because I am not going back to 444 or re-testing on a new wax. Pro tip, add 3% beeswax in with your Soy 10 blend and it will help it burn longer. I was burning 2x ECO 2's in a 13.5oz Cali Jar (no beeswax) and it was way too hot. Now I do that blend with 2x ECO 1's, perfect! Also I poor at 180, I found 190 was lifting up my wick stickers sometimes while cooling. Freakin mess. I still got good jar adhesion and smooth tops pouring at 180.
Oh shoot thank you for sharing!! Super appreciate you 🥰 I’m gonna try pouring at 180. Listen, I’m not a wax blender. It’s too fussy! If the wax can’t perform on its own, it’s not for me. I have 0 desire to blend.
I pour at 190 I heat to 210 add fragrance stir and pour no issues with wick stickers, I am one of those weirdo’s that watch my candles cool 🤣 I did have an issue with Amazon wick stickers way back when and I think that made me paranoid now it’s just part of my making to keep an eye on all of them and haven’t had issues in 4 yrs
@ I got this wax as a back up about 2 yrs ago then it was gone , I have to say it’s close to soy 10 a bit of a harder wax throws amazing, I was was only able to get a little bit at the time , I believe it was being sourced from Australia ( don’t quote me) so I am beyond excited to get more just to have another wax that is neck & neck with soy 10 I only got a chance to test with eco & cdn and 8 % fragrance but nonetheless amazing, I’ll be ordering soon .
@@Soulful_Spirit_Candle_Co dang Leah! that is so smart to have a backup. and it's ironic that right now is the time to have one b/c of the rebrand. once that 2.2lb sample is back in stock, I'm going to order the M12 and try it. thank you!
fragrance has always been the element that triggers people's reaction to candles. paraffin is king of fragrance throw. as a result, people are more likely to get a reaction with it than vegetable waxes.
🤣🤣🤣 thank you for the recommendation! I don’t use straight sided jars. Is it worth trying with soy 10? Curious how the burn time and HT is with those wicks.
@@couturehomeandbody I would try it with the little jelly jar and see how you like it, burn time is nice and slow which I like , it adds a few hrs in my opinion

Yay!! I’m so glad my video was helpful. Wicking is… a journey 😂 😭
Such a good point about getting some space from the making area to avoid nose blindness!
💯!
I don't know why everyone loves soy in general? Maybe you could talk about that. New to candle making. Thank you!
So thorough! Loved learning more about soy 10.
Thank you! 😘 🗿
This was a great review. Don’t you make me to buy another wax! 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you!! Also your comment sent me! 🤣🤣🤣
I love Soy 10! That’s my wax. Can’t wait for it to come back in stock. I’m running low.
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 what wick series are you using? It’ll be back just in time to ramp up for spring!

I have used soy 10. It is a great wax. However, I’m a big fan of coconut wax. I know you’re a soy gal but just sayin. Thanks again girl. Great video!

Is Soy 10 similar to ProBlend 600?
I’m not sure about that! I’ve never used problend wax

Have you ever tested with additives like vybar or stearic acid? If so, did it help?
Hey Robert! I have not used these. If the wax doesn’t work on its own, I’m not interested.
@@couturehomeandbody thank you!
Do you test in different jars then your main jar?
I do! I test in jelly jars and wax melts to see how new oils do in the wax before deciding to put in my main jar.
In this video I did both.
There’s been times I haven’t had the time to cure , I’ve poured and shipped 🤣 I do blend some of my larger vessels , not all .
My thoughts have changed completely on “curing”!

💯!!! It’s important to educate customers on this!
A small amount of food grade paraffin is used as a binder, as in ALOT of other Soy waxes marked as all natural fyi.
