Highly recommend to have AV Amp to watch movie and concert. The feelings are totally different from HK because of enough spacious living room with incredible 3D sound effect. I am using Yamaha which is very impressive on both concert and movie.
@cylokwin1 This price is over budget for me. Price of 65 inches is £18xx which is acceptable for me. Soundbar is suitable for movie only. The enjoyment of music and true immersive cinema perception is a certain disparity from av amplifier. Especially the classical live performance I listen in TH-cam where the spatial creation, detailed music regenerated and strong rhythm occur in the whole listening room with wafting the sounds of violin and other musical instruments. Anyway, I congrat you can enjoy home theatre in giant TV screen here.
LG users who just focus on brightness and sharpness do not pursue both natural picture and spatial sound quality. SONY is traditional top brand in visual and audio devices that is inevitable in the heart of home theater user like me. Honestly, Although LG is one of main manufacturers of OLED panel in the market now, the streaming app sound quality is far behind of SONY.
@@chanronald4940 I concur that the images produced by Sony's XR chip have an impressive movie-like quality, but they need to be paired with high-quality screens for best effects; something unlikely with this A80L model. It's common knowledge that OLED brightness is crucial as image detail and three-dimensionality heavily rely on it. You also said something about LG TVs' streaming platforms being inferior to Sony when it comes to films - I didn't quite catch which platform you meant there. Can you elaborate?
@user-friendly0820 I watch MV in youtube through Samsung TV and SONY 4K disc player (with streaming apps) in comparison that the sound quality of SONY is far beyond better than Samsung. The 3D sound field and high frequency performance is very amazing. Samsung sound is relatively too flat which is significantly lack of musical sense. The weakness of sound performance for Korean TV is lack of knowledge and past experience on HiFi manufacturing. Unlike SONY, it's product range is wide to cover headphone, Walkman, portable music streaming player, av amplifier etc. I have ever posted this point on post76 and suggest them to comment it during TV test. Hopefully, my explanation can let you have clearly understanding the big difference between Korean TV and Japanese TV nowadays. BTW, my home theatre set up is 5.2.4 driving by Japanese AV amp so that it is easy to listen the weak sound generated from Korean TV.
