I chopped off all the dark dyed hair and that left me with a cute salt and pepper pixie. I’m so glad I did it, I never thought it would suit me so much.
Well, I wouldn't call my gray hair gray because for the most part the top of my head looks white. I adore the color, and if my entire hair were the same color, I wouldn't attempt to change it. However, I still have some salt and pepper action going from the mid head and down the nape. What strikes me difficult to address given my new natural and way less processed hair is the fact that the gray hair came with a very noticeable change of texture. I don't mean just a little coarse, I mean, I know have patches of white that grow in a very kinky, manner. I'm Hispanic, so yes, my hair was never straight-as-a-pin. It was more on the wavy side. Having said that, my struggle now is geared more towards finding products & hair styles that accommodate a mixed texture hair. Color, is a different story. I'm undecided, I may go platinum and end that part of the story :)
