If Casas tore cartilage swinging the bat it would be one thing. Breaking ribs doing that is, for me, way more scary. I have to wonder if the Red Sox feel the same way and that's why they're talking about trading him.
i’m in on casas. he struggled mightily to start the year in ‘23 at just 23 years old and really turned it around the second half. ended that year with a .263 avg not bad, pretty good actually for such a young 1b with so much power. i’m not sure he’s going to be such a detriment to your BA as advertised. and with batted ball metrics like his, he’s hard to bet against.
Freeman still has nothing on Kirk Gibson's at bat in the 88 World Series. The guy couldn't even walk and he hit it off the best closer in the game. They make movies on at bats like that one.
Andrew Vaughn could be a mini Pete Alonso but he refuses to be and I will die on that hill Their batted ball profiles are so similar, the only difference is that Vaughn hits to center way more and hits the ball slightly softer on average. Also Vaughn had 30 more singles and 15 less homers.
Appreciate all your analysis, guys!! Keep up the fantastic content 💪

Paid 34 for Guerrero and 16 for Casas. Hoping for 75 hrs between them. Contract year Vlad go get him

RIP Mr Baseball, the game will miss him...!

If Freeman's SB's come down and his power remains modest, then aren't we looking at a more expensive Nathaniel Lowe type of scenario here?
Not with dodgers run production surrounding freeman

Mountcastle also could lose his job to Mayo before the season is over.
Pick 5 Mookie Betts, Shohei Ohtani, Fernando Tatis, Rafael Devers, Austin Riley, Gilbert, Snell, Burnes for keepers
I beat Pistolrx to a comment section! 🎉
jake bauers has to be coming for that number one word cloud spot 😂😂 feel like he’s reaching kebryan hayes, luis arraez etc. levels of pandering
In an alternate universe, Jake Bauers got a lot more mentions on our playoff pods but Pete Alonso happened. - DVR
