Great to see a young man choose cosmo I'm a woman and I'm interested in barbering, but I think there's a larger market for being able to do everything 💁🏽 kudos to you!
Dude we r literally living the same life around the same time lmao but yeah i started as a barber enthusiast n found cosmetology n my mind was blown away at the idea of knowing so much we can corner the barber market by being able to provide every n any service possible !!!!!
Maaaan, this video makes me wanna enroll into cosmetology school. I've been cutting men's hair; in & out of shops, for 5 years but I'm not licensed. Therefore, I'm currently in a position of whether I want to be licensed through cosmetology school or barber school. Decisions lol I hope your journey will inspire you even further & others like myself who wanna step out of there element to try something new 🙏🏻💯
I respect the grind homie, glad you're willing to take it to the next level. In hopes that I can help you make your decision I'd say to check the requirements for both barbering and cosmetology in your state, and move from there. That was a big deciding factor me.
Can you do a video on student loans and grants? I'm in the process of trying to do financial planning for my Paul Mitchell school. Would be great to hear your insight on the matter. You inspire me a ton bro, you and Bossio. I finally have a passion and I'm stoked to turn it into a career.
Hey man I wanna tell you that I have the Andis Superliners and it takes a bit concentration to set them but once you get them set right they are PERFECT. Man they are my go to’s over my t outliners, I like em way better. Every client I use em on I ask how do they feel and they tell me it didn’t even feel like the clippers were on, yet the lines are super crisp, even on the neck line and mustache. The key to getting them set perfect is to zero gap the detachable blade while it’s on the clipper, don’t take it off and do it. Do me a favor and give it a try and use em on your next cut. P.S. I modified the blade with the Chuka 1 minute blade modifier before it set the blade.
Cinematic vlog🙆♂️ Damn keep em comin bro, its very interesting to watch, plus please do the hair colouring video, because idk where to learn about it, but i want to offer it in my shop😆
aye bro, I was thinkin of going to parisian beauty academy in hackensack and I was wondering how much the tuition cost ! lmk i’m tryna get my barbers license
Yo did you go to barber school to get your license? Also if you did, how much was the tuition for the cosmetology school and barber school. Love ur vids keep it up 🙏🏽
2 Main reasons: In Nj Cosmetology students learn everything barbers learn and more, and secondly there are no barber college's in my area. This school is 15min away from me.
What's up Barbers table I go to Paul Mitchell Master hair care specialist there is not that many that have that program I'm in Columbia South Carolina I think it's cool that you're going to Paul Mitchell now we are alumni brother
Thebarberstable I have been watching you for awhile now what's interesting about you is not the same and y'all receive way more mannequins and additional things in your kit then we did I guess every Paul Mitchell owner has a different standard.
Just got my license here in Virginia like 2 days ago. There's a ton of shit but it's really not that bad. The theory is worse than the practical for sure.
Bruh.... Why are you going to cosmetology school? Youre good enough to get an apprenticeship and get paid as a barber while you learn... Thats what Im doing here in VA...
Thebarberstable thats crazy... Lucky i live in a state where the state sponsors the program... I cant even imagine being in school now... Being in the shop, you learn so many different ways from different people
Eventually people in school will be in a shop, so we aren't missing out there. Paying for school is the only problem. lol. Glad you getting it as you can though bro.
Corbin Finch f noooo barbers have a limited mindset n only touch men’s hair ! Not only can we fade but now we can provide any service from highlights to pedicures to relaxers, what can u do lol fade hair n that’s it
False, cosmetologists learn everything a barber learns and more in my area. It varies from state to state. That was a huge deciding factor since I live in Englewood, Nj. Best licensing program for my desires is this school.
My most favorite video of Paul Mitchell kit unboxing/reveal EVER 😍😍😍

Exactly! you get it. It's about finding all the things you can add to the barber industry, not just taking what it gives you.
The clipper don’t make the barber the trimmer don’t make the barber the barber makes the cut. -Chris Bossio.
We miss you Kev!
You’re absolutely amazing with these videos. I’m starting school and watching your videos gives me a lot of motivation and confidence to do this!

Why not do both get your hours for cosmo school first to get the hang of shear work then go to barber school for less the time and work on fading
DameEchelonVIII whatever you do don’t call yourself a barber until you get a barbers license
How are you cutting in a shop with no license? 🤔
Thanks man for letting be apart of the journey with ya, but you right those have to be the bunkis clippers they could have giving you.
Not a problem bro. Thanks for coming along for the ride. And lmao, yea bro. I was underwhelmed.

Why not barber school?
2 Main reasons: In Nj Cosmetology students learn everything barbers learn and more, and secondly there are no barber college's in my area. This school is 15min away from me.
I know you went to college isn’t cosmo school so much better bc you get all this stuff instead of having to go find it yourself
What's up Barbers table I go to Paul Mitchell Master hair care specialist there is not that many that have that program I'm in Columbia South Carolina I think it's cool that you're going to Paul Mitchell now we are alumni brother
What's up bro?! Nice to meet you! I'm in Englewood, NJ. I think it's cool you found this video!
Thebarberstable I have been watching you for awhile now what's interesting about you is not the same and y'all receive way more mannequins and additional things in your kit then we did I guess every Paul Mitchell owner has a different standard.
Yea I don't know much about other Paul Mitchell schools honestly. I just thought everyone got that much stuff. lol.
Just got my license here in Virginia like 2 days ago. There's a ton of shit but it's really not that bad. The theory is worse than the practical for sure.
Most definitely man. I gotta make sure I study that thing day and night.
Bruh.... Why are you going to cosmetology school? Youre good enough to get an apprenticeship and get paid as a barber while you learn... Thats what Im doing here in VA...
This is why knowing your state requirements is important guys. Apprenticeships aren't allowed in Jersey.
Bro you should have went to barber school...
Corbin Finch too late. Lol
Corbin Finch f noooo barbers have a limited mindset n only touch men’s hair ! Not only can we fade but now we can provide any service from highlights to pedicures to relaxers, what can u do lol fade hair n that’s it
Mike Castro right
Mike Castro you learn all that in barber school too the only with we don’t learn is nails I think
Isai u think key words u think
What school did u go too? iPads and shit!
You learn all of that in barber school lol the only difference is cosmos learn makeup and nails and barbers learn how to use a straight razor..
False, cosmetologists learn everything a barber learns and more in my area. It varies from state to state. That was a huge deciding factor since I live in Englewood, Nj. Best licensing program for my desires is this school.
Thebarberstable well out here in Cali that how it is, I’m in school now.. but another think only person that knows your true desires is you
Facts bro. That's what it's all about. Go after it and achieve it. Everyone got an opinion. Just make sure you're confident with you movements.
