What a wonderful explanation of an easy way to play walking bass. I love how you say "It sounds formulaic because you are following a formula"! At the end you nicely mix it up showing how the same notes can be mixed up and played with a slightly different rhythm to get away from the formulaic sound to a good walking line.
Nice bass line if any one need some input i have been with james for over a year I don't regret it at all and the walking bass program is awesome been doing it for a while lots you can learn
I like your content very much but you take much too long to get into it. So I skip most of your videos. 14 minutes? No way. You can show this well in less than 5 minutes. Do that and yupu will have a very popular bass channel. Cheers.
