A true crossing to the dark side for you, a Revell kit!!! Covered in Flash, Molly Weir being too enthusiastic with the old mop and bucket again or was it the saviour of the universe (sorry). Watching this and the fit of the parts has me a little worried as I have bought as a Christmas present the Revell Millennium Falcon for my grandson and he is just beginning his modelling adventure, maybe some grandad grandson time needed. Old school panel lines, I have acquired 2B and 4B pencils over time for exactly this, bit softer leaves a bit more graphite on the model and can be used for shading on the panels as well, no cleaning of brushes either. Sorry to contradict but orange is a secondary colour 🙃. One must always be on guard for Murphy’s Law. Another cracking build and video though. May the Force be with you to, "cùm iad a’ tighinn" PS you have one infectious laugh 😆😆
Thanks for the comment - I really enjoy them I always thought orange was a primary colour - every day's a school day! I do think George Lucas needs to rethink his orange uniform to carrot cake camo though 😂🤣 The fit wasn't that bad but, on the other hand, if the kit gives you quality time with your Grandson it's worth every penny!! My laughing got out of control and I should have been more "professional" but I got caught up in the moment 🤭🤭 On the whole, I really enjoyed this kit because of the fun it brought me. Although I do think for the price it comes with it could be of a better quality 🤔
All Rebel Alliance craft need to be dirty! It looks good and the LEDs work really well. I've built the Revell Land Rover and E-type and both go together extremely well. The only problem is that the parts for any sub-assembly are scattered at random over several sprues, which is most annoying! I'm currently building three Italeri kits- the fit varies between good and doesn't, plus some of the part numbers in the instructions don't match up with the numbers on the sprues. It's all good fun.
Its a typical Revell kit - as you said random parts placing on the Sprues, flash and all that jazz. Still great fun BUT at the same price range as some other manufacturers it does make me hesitate when purchasing my next project
Well done H!! Looks great, loving the weathering and mottling, the LEDs finish it off, keep up the great work! 😊👍
Thank you - it was a definite learning curve for me. Teaching myself new tricks when I'm an old dog 🤣😂
