  • Roy Williams is one of the most decorated Sooners in history. All-everything in college and pro. He stopped by the Family Business to talk about his early days at Oklahoma, his relationship with Josh Heupel and Brent Venables bringing back defense to Oklahoma.

Not that often that we get a chance to see Roy Williams. Legendary.

Love listening to you guys. Let's go get this dub, SOONER MAGIC shows itself on Saturday night!!! BOOMER!!!!!!
Roy talked to 14 year old me about bass fishing for a good 5 minutes outside the switzer center after a game, made my year to say the least and my dad still talks about it too. So, thanks Roy! I'm 38 now and haven't forgotten about that yet even though I'm sure you did long ago. Thanks for taking a few minutes and being so down to earth and genuine.

Kind of disappointing that Roy would go to the game just to see Josh but not support OU.

I kind of felt the same, but he’s done enough for ou.. if he wants to watch from his home with his family and friends there’s nothing wrong with that. I’m sure he sees people around OU here and there and hasn’t seen Josh in forever.
