If you were going to do this again, maybe with third tier sides, might I suggest: Shrewsbury Town (the only club I've watched live more than 10 times), 1860 Munchen (fallen giant), Lecco (affiliated with Bath), Ibiza (my first ever FM save) or Le Mans (I am a massive motorsport fan). Just suggestions :)
@@LoadedPixel Not a Shrewsbury fan myself but I do have a huge respect the club, my cousin is a huge fans and brings me along occasionally . Though I've never actually seen you guys win 🤣.
How about recreating Jurgen Klopp’s new role as director of football for the Red Bull group. You could add Leeds and Paris FC to the group and see what Klopp can do for 50 years.
please do something with schalke 04, maybe something with their youth as they brought through some amazing players over the years. Like Manuel Neuer, Leon Goretzga, but also failed talents like draxler and meier.
Similar to other comments i recommend giving 250mil to 4th tier teams for England swindon(my local team) and other 4th tier teams in Italy france Germany and Spain or whatever and also give them all 20 chairperson stats and see what happens
There's something about club expectations and how much they spend set in the pre-game editor/database, I think. Some clubs no matter how much money you feed them don't spend and don't try to get better, German clubs (I often become their sugar daddy when I have too much money) are usually better about it. Also GMs/head coaches have a "buying players" attribute - I've only paid attention to coaches but maybe for AI clubs it matters if the GM at the start has a high buying players attribute?
Parma and Zaragoza owners been stifling money from their accounts. But I'v had this issue before, give some small club a tv deal and very little seems to change regarding my bank money or transfer budget.
What about one with max facilities (reset them to max if the facilities downgrade),Vs, perfect staff, Vs, TV money, Vs, max capacity stadium, Vs, max reputation (again reset if downgraded)? Would probably say again 50yrs, may have to set staff to transfer away after the 50yr mark and maybe do it with all teams from the same league, who are all a similar level to start with.
Lol a nice idea... coming back every season to reset things for 50 years would take a hell of a long time though so i may think of an alternative or workaround
Would love to see something with Hertha Berlin. They used to be the biggest club in Berlin, but fell off after getting a major investment from a scetchy guy. We are finally getting back on track by focusing on our own good youth :)
if possible it would be awesome if u did a Alemannia Aachen rebuild, they were a giant club and recently got promoted to liga 3 again! would love to see them play in the champions league
I would like to see with teams in some smaller leagues like Netherlands (one of the biggest leagues) Portugal (one of the biggest leagues) gibaltar (it would be interesting I think) and probably some other ones
The Bundesliga pays out prize money in FM, not TV money, so changing the TV revenue to 250 million means that they get that AND the 130ish million as prize money for coming in first. Plus the revenue from the Champions League
If you ever need a third tier side for one of these, please consider Cambridge - it would make me feel a little better about losing the local derby 6-1 yesterday😭
The only thing I can maybe think of for the difference between the teams is maybe tax rules in each country? because I know England has an annual tax bill thing in FM
Please use Werder Bremen in the future. They are a former German Giant and used to be the biggest competitor to Munich in the early 2000s. Also they are one of the biggest clubs all time in Germany with being 3rd in the All Time Table.
If you ever want a 4th tier side for a video, may i recommend Crewe Alexandra (My local) a team with a good amount of history but never really found success. Plus, I dont think I've ever really seen them used in this kind of video
please choose Lechia Gdańska from Poland. They are the youngest team in the Polish top league, and they are doing so badly this season that they were promoted after relegation in the same season they were fighting in UECL qualifying.
@@jayhuahuanahh choose Warta Poznań, they are a historic club that was relegated last season (it was a miracle they stayed in the top flight for so long in the first place tbh) and are now fighting and struggling to stay up in the second tier.
The money is drip fed through the season monthly because of the way the finances are structured I think 🤔 someone has mentioned club dividends and it makes sense. I think certain nations may miss out in future
Do former Yugoslavia experiment with TV money. Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia. Of course you'll need to add missing nations first. Or a Slavic experiment. All the loadable Slavic nations with huge TV deals.
Great suggestion but always tricky when certain leagues aren't in the game as it needs custom databases and not always easy to modify to add TV deals sadly so I tend to avoid them
Yeah you could do playable leagues (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia). Would be interesting to see between the three of them too. All Slavic nations would also be interesting. There's quite a few of them in. (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Belarus, Czechia, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Ukraine). I think that would be a great experiment.
Maybe hanover spending more because of the 50+1 rule German teams use ? Maybe the fans demanding certain transfers now they’re getting lots of new money (not sure if the game would take stuff like that in to consideration)
This is one of the very few problems I have with FM. The AI sucks. They never try to punch above their weight in the transfer market. Go on holidays and fast forward a million years in the future on FM and Man City, Bayern, PSG, Madrid will all be winning their respective leagues over and over and over again.
Can you flip the English pyramid upside down, basically reverse all the team, premier league into the bottom, and so forth, wanna see how many can make it back to the top or go into financial ruin
So when you click on renew income, it renews the deal so it will change every season, however the good news is that Emma Hayes at Chelsea is made, edited and tomorrows scheduled upload. Just need to make a thumbnail 👍
A few reasons already mentioned as to why clubs are not spending. For Spain don't the league also set the allowed wage budget for each club? That's why Barcelona have to keep pulling imaginary levers to be able to register players!😂
Noticed my taste on selecting what teams to support from other countries (Im from Ecuador) is kinda ass when I support Zaragoza and Saint-Etienne lol and I used to support Hannover as a kid, still, pretty cool hahahaha
Norwich were about as bad as they are in the current season! They sometimes do far better in these simulations without any takeover or money injections. I was wondering if the different clubs could possibly be affected by when the money comes in. Does that deal spread out through the year or does it come in one giant lump just before tax time so they instantly lose out? This could be why some seemed to gain far quicker than others.
@@jayhuahua they have, and they have one that is "interference" that is the likelyhood they buy and sell players without your consent Make some 1 interferance and some 20
These experiments always fail because the AI is idiotic and a human player is so far superior, there's no point in even comparing. I've done this kind of experiment several times every year since FM14 and the result is still the same. The AI, when it fires a manager, almost never hires a manager that runs the same system. So every few years, you have someone new come in and turn over the roster (which costs BIG). They almost never invest in improving facilities unless there's nothing else to spend money on. They build new stadiums when the old one needs replacing (for league rules) but always take loans out, even when they have the cash on hand to pay for it outright. The only way to delay the inevitable is to give the Chairman or managing director 20 in Business. But even in that case, the club will simply stagnate because the money for transfers won't be available. Also, if you look at the club's financials, there's an entry called 'dividends'. This is paid out to the "shareholders" (in FM, that's the directors). Ideally, this would only happen when the club is vastly exceeding its required income (like when it's close to the 32-bit signed integer limit of 2,147,483,647). In FM24, outside of the Prem, this happens within the first 10 years if you give them a $500 million TV deal. They can't spend the money fast enough if they're not already in the top flight of a top-8 league. The only way the AI knows to compete is to pay Saudi Arabia wages, which is what you saw here. Even in your other experiments like this (and other content creators as well), the wage bill becomes HUGE as a result. This year, I did a two pronged experiment with Swansea and Bristol Rovers (different saves) where I gave them a billion dollars and a $900 million a year TV deal. They were paying Saudi wages within 5 years. By the time they got to the Prem, they had maxed out facilities but they were paying SO much, the transfer budget couldn't break $100 million because the wage bill was so onerous. Plus, it makes it impossible to get rid of players because you're paying so much over the average, they refuse to leave (and take a massive pay cut). It's just crazy!
They don't use it optimally but it sparks change and in my opinion is a bit of fun n interesting. But if it's not for you then that's cool. I appreciate u watching despite hating it
I gonna give this video -10 stars Norwich city why o why lol 😂! If you picked a different team would give you +10 stars! Keep up The good work love your videos
