Hey Seth, Im a life insurance agent and just want to let you know that the state standardize test for receiving your Life/Health insurance license is not difficult at all. You would max need a week to review your insurance exam prep material (which you have to pay for). For now I recommend you try to absorb as much knowledge from people in the insurance industry such as Cody. Best of luck.
@@sirenaeverett5955 my brother-in-law is actually one of the most successful insurance agents in northeast Arkansas and I am currently studying under him, a lot of family and friends family sell insurance as a career. I was mostly looking for material I could study in the meantime so that I would be fully prepared for not only the exam but also my first year. I thank you for your reply though!
Cody I need some guidance, I was told 40% for the first 60 days, just found out it’s only 75% of the 40% that is consider and advance, I don’t pay for leads …what the average commission rate for life insurance … I’m feeling like I got misled
There's no free training, all these "secrets" are free online. You want to make money selling insurance? Recruit people. The money is in having people below you to generate you commission and appointments. The industry is pyramid built. If you want a job in financial services I'd recommend getting a degree and going to a legitimate investment firm, not an insurance agency that is solely commission, best of luck.
