Man I wish, the kid hasn't posted anything drum related at least on Instagram for the past year. I wanna ask why he isn't pursuing DCI anymore but I also wanna respect his privacy.
@@DatGuyWithNoName Life happens :) He's doing computer science at Chapel Hill (UNC) which is pretty demanding. He also dropped from WGI (he marched Atlanta Quest that year). This past 2022 DCI would have been his age out
I used to bang around all day at school and at home on my old premier and pearl snares but drove everyone nuts. Was gonna apply but then decided the military was a better chouce. Never looked back.
Who cares? Are you implying that you're somehow morally superior to these kids just because you chose the military? Nah, they had the absolute time of their lives creating great art (oh yeah, and great WINNING🏅 art) while you were nothing but an anonymous useless cog in the military industrial complex machine, probably coming out of it a racist braindead right-wing Trumpy just like 99% of ex-military. Yeah, marching BD and racking up the medals sure sounds a hell of a lot better than the life YOU chose. Haha. But hey, enjoy your premium parking spot at the Home Depot!
You just lower your left arm a bit, no need to lean to the left. My school’s snare line uses flat snares with traditional grip, it’s not too hard once you get used to it
@AmazingErrChannel Any good percussionist doesnt need to get used to a flat snare, I understand getting used to a slanted snare, but if you play multiple percussion instruments then it should just translate naturally.
There’s Brandon there, gee I wonder if he will make it lol.
Doubt it
@@RishiJalukar Worry more about whether Brandon will hit the shot...
my boy Elijah was also 17, and he made that line.

Nice, looks like the old man knew what he was made off.
I love it when Brandon smiled when that long roll happened because it was really dirty😂
Looks like we got another Casey Brohard fellas

@@bryanmacfarlane Thanks for the update! Hope Noah is doing well in life, and everything is good :)
Do you have any footage from the quads from this camp?

why do they play with the snare flat? Looks like they all have to lean to the right to compensate for playing trad...
It makes it harder. That’s why 😆.
