I really like that idea of another style of junkyard. Having the current one where you can get cars to restore, and then random parts in the junk piles. Then as you said, a boneyard type one, where you could hunt for a specific car (maybe x amount spawn randomly each time you go there), and get parts specific to that particular car and try repair them for your restoration/project car.
yeah it was just off the top of my head really but the idea came from watching king of scrap and a few other restoration programs and thinking it would be cool to be in this game

If I may extend it, I think a few local Boneyards would be ideal, maybe with different relative stock. Like a guy who collects old muscle cars, a girl who collects new cars, another who collects electric, etc. Rotating stock each visit and a barter system (nothing too extensive) that varies based on the sellers personality. They could even give you special orders occasionally to restore cars for them. This would give much more of a car collectors community vibe in the game.
the biggest heap I've got from the crap auction was paying about 7k on an Atom that had nothing, no panels, no suspension, no engine, just the shell, made a FORTUNE on it 🤪

my chat got me to spend 7 grand on a busted car then made around 30k off it was a lot of work though but it was on alive stream so it was fine
The junkyard in game is more of a salvage yard. It should be more like a pick n pull. Also there should be other junkyards you can go too.
i agree matey they could have done a bit more with this game to give people a bit more interactive area's
