  • Hmong textile researcher and scholar Pachia Lucy Vang of Sacramento met at the San Joaquin County Historical Museum with Hmong International Culture Institute Executive Director Wang Seng Thao of Stockton and his wife, Plia Yang, to shed light on the some of the fascinating stories behind the textiles on exhibit in “Cloth as Community: Hmong Textiles in America,” a traveling ExhibitsUSA show.     Many of my friends here in Thailand of of the Hmong culture, I love buying their artistic work to decorate my home.
