Hi Ritika, For MOU students CPA will assess if the experience fits the required criteria for CPA. The requirements can be slightly different for every chapter. In Alberta, I had to send my resume and they validated my experience and granted exemption. So PERT form filling was not required. But make sure to check with your local chapter as things keep changing in the administrative side. Hope this helps.

Hi Varun, The immigration laws keep changing and I do not have any expertise in that. But you can pursue CPA from there. But you will have to be in Canada for writing the exam. Once you have a Canadian designation chances of getting job would be higher and score will be higher as well.

You will have to get the WES assessment done they will confirm how much credit you will get. After that you can take the remaining courses and go from there

As per my understanding you need to have PR or residency but I am not very sure about the immigration laws. it keeps changing and it is different for each province. it is better to check with local chapter they will be able to help you.
You will need PR or citizenship. You will not be able to get student Visa for doing CPA. But I am not an expert in the immigration side of things so please consult proper authorities as the rules keep changing.

There is a process for review of your previous experience. Based on that CPA will decide how much exemption can be granted for your experience. I got full exemption as I had many years of experience.

You can appear for 3 times if you have a cleared Day1 or Day2&3. After that the exemption is lost and everything has to be attempted again. Every attempt has fees. Other than that there is no restriction on attempts as such

For CPE hours you can report self study hours for your research on the current topics/reading journals etc. Yes Practice is considered as experience.
