Siempre libre, Forever free (for those who mourn)

As I get older I seem to attend more funerals and, although these are, of course, times of great emotion and loss, for the Christian believer there is the knowledge that those who trust in Jesus will, as He said, "never die" (John 11:26). Our physical separation is temporary and, since we exist in Him, in the family of God we are still joined. Why the Spanish version? I'm not sure. I'd like to think the Lord wanted it so that others could be ministered to. I'm sorry for the imperfections and, there is some genuine emotion here that perhaps should have led to another attempt. I'd like to think the Lord was in it so I decided to leave it in. Much appreciation and thanks go to José Guifarro, who helped me much with pronunciation and structure. I was in pain and feeling a little uneasy about my recovery. I felt a little lost. I climbed into bed and thought perhaps I could find a way to relax and let go of the days difficulties. Here you are brother, entwined in the fabric of the tapestry of Gods perfect knowledge of the needs of those who love him. Your song is about loss, yet within that, I have found comfort.
